The Bank Robbery System is Underutilized Everyone knows how little you get from the bank robberies, after all, why spend 15 minutes to just *attempt* to try and gain a measly $50,000 if there are even enough police officers in the server. That is why I want to introduce a bank robbery system that I see as far superior; PVault. PVault allows for a greater rush and more interactivity as the bank robbers now have to try and unlock the vault without tripping the alarm, quickly retrieve the duffel bags of cash (each bag has varying amounts) before the door closes, and make your way to the Corrupt Banker and you must negotiate with him. If you try to get to greedy, he will rat you out, but if don't be too generous or you will lose out on most of your hard work. Should the police intercept the robbers, it is their duty to try and return the cash to the vaults. I have always been disappointed in the missed opportunity that is the bank, hence why I wanted to bring this mod to your attention. It will give an incentive for players of all levels to take a gamble and try to rob the bank! Thank you for your time. Firstly, I apologize for the leap into a conclusion that I made if this is true. I'm sure you can understand how this must look to any outsider looking in. In the chat, you called the player by a name, the name being Jamie Parker. This led me to come to the conclusion that you were doxxing a player, hence the ban. I will have to get in touch with the player to see if it was his/her real name. If it is, then I will have solid evidence for the ban. Until then, what little evidence is presented could possibly not be enough to recall your ban. Unfortunately, I have zero footage of anything stated happening. But, you did state that you did call him a proper name as a joke, which I also saw (as it gave me the reason for the ban). The fact that we both agree that A) you called another player a proper name and B) you were banned following that outcry gives us a story that we both back. With the given evidence, I feel I was justified in banning you in order to stop you from, what I believe, was doxxing another player. I strongly feel this was as I believe that I had to preserve that player's right to privacy and anonymity online and that anyone should feel safe when they play on a Garnet Gaming server.

I don't think a ban is necessary, as he was messing with EGirl Shin and nothing more. In the video, Shin even said to not ban Frankie, because he understood it was fun and games. Although he raided later, it was not connected to him chasing Shin. I personally believe that the New Life Rule should apply to raids, mugs, and other rp interactions, not coincidental unrelated events. I was very hesitant to ban someone on something I felt was an excuse to ban another player over a past action. The reason this situation is being pushed to this is because Youngboob reported Frankie before. Youngboob gave false evidence and was banned for it, thus causing a rift between the two. However, Youngboob was adamant on getting Frankie banned, a decision that I previously stated was too much in my eyes. Youngboob was so hellbent that he grew restless at my attempts at diplomacy, and demanded for a second opinion, to which I complied and called Joe Gatto. Joe Gatto agreed with my stance on the matter, which only enraged Youngboob, who knew he was wrong but desperately wanted to get revenge bureaucratically. In conclusion, I don't think a Frankie should have been banned. Simply stated, while he did MassNLR, Frankie died numerous times previously in a manner that had no rp interaction that could be compared to a raid or a mugging. The only reason this is being pushed is because of the bad blood between the two. The messing about with Shin should not be held to the same manner as a raid, mug, or other legitimate rp interaction. This is a "monumental" decision (if you can call it that on a gmod server) because if the appeal passes, it will separate general mucking about and measurable, offensive rp interaction. I personally find them separate, hence my stance on this.

You weren't banned for begging for money, you were banned for being a minge. There were numerous times where you would abuse your textscreen. There were three reports on you for such actions, the first two of which was made by someone who wanted to run a gambling stand. They made their outpost outside of spawn, took careful consideration to detail and coloring, and then placed the outline for their bets. You decided to place your primary colored sign of donators on top of their sign and window, thus making it considerably harder to conduct business. A report was made, I took said report, and asked you to remove the sign, which you refused, saying that I would have to top the donator list for you to remove it. I asked you multiple times to remove it, to which you were persistent in your denial. I had to request for you to be reconnected for the sign to be removed. On a third report, a ticket was made depicting you carrying your sign around town. You admitted to this, yet when I asked for you to stop, you were hellbent on having me donate to you in order for you to stop. Despite my pleas, you carried on with your disregard of the rules. This was the tipping point to where I decided that you had "No Intention to Roleplay" thus resulting in the ban.

[minimum 2 paragraphs] With a small stream of staff applications, I believe mine stands out due to the character of the applicant and those who've influenced me to apply. In any given scenario, I enjoy being social and I always try to aid those with almost anything. Given the scenarios I would have to deal with, such social skills are a requirement. On top of being able to easily talk to people, I excel as a law student and I trust that I can bring the teachings from my classes to my position. In fact, I'm sure many people can easily compare sits to courtrooms; seeing as different parties attempt to provide evidence over the other in front of a judge. With such a comparison, I can reinforce my idea that my education can help the server. As a final selling point, would be that I am a night owl. I get plenty of time for work and school and still have plenty of time to play on this server. Since I'm online while many staff members are asleep, I could take sits to help any players who share my nocturnal trait. All in all, I see my tuition in law, communicability, and nightly habit can make me a valuable asset on the roster. Even with all of the listed appeals, there is a reason I want to become a staff member. The main reason I want to see my name on the forms next month is to help this community that I've grown attached to stay stable and organized. This is perhaps the most well maintained DarkRP server I've seen, and I want to help keep it that way. I've had plenty of fun on this server, whether it be with the ecstatic new players, the calm headed moderators, or the mellowed people who have hundreds of hours. Behind each avatar has a person who can bring their own personality to the mix, different people take each role differently. Despite the repetitive nature of the game, each session I join brings something new. Also, as someone who likes to get creative on different mediums, the relaxed base building rules and open interactions can really help whenever I'm going thru a mental block. In conclusion, I want to help maintain or even improve the server because of the excitement that I have been gifted and hope to give newer players that same hospitality.
