The workaround that I used to get the link is I turned on Web Developer mode in Firefox, simulated session as mobile (iPad), which popped up the blue bar at the top which has a search button. Clicking this provides the link that you can bookmark in the meantime until it's added to the main forum.

yeah the mobile version of the site should show a magnifying glass for search, not sure why the desktop version doesnt have a search bar but that will likely be changed.
