  1. I’ve had my ups and downs, but life has been good recently.

  2. in the next update can you add a slot to cg co so the xo can have the models without being set
  3. +1 not gonna lie I don’t know who you are, but you have a great app, good feedback, and it seems like everyone here thinks you’d do a great job
  4. -1 no idea who you are, never seen you on, bad community feedback, and overall terrible reputation (+1)
  5. +1 This guy was around when I was new
  6. I wasn’t planning on replying to this, but I’ve gotta say i agree here. Also, in your app you wrote that people tend to dislike you because you’re young. I hate that you would put that. As someone who’s even younger than you, I never chalk up my issues to just being young, I chalk them up to myself doing something wrong or messing up. -1
  7. +1 (obviously) you should’ve asked me for my referral! easily the most qualified guy for gm. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with him. He’s been good ecs with good ideas during the events, he’s got good ideas, and he’s got my +1
  8. +1 it isn’t perfect, but you show dedication, and I know you can do good in this position!
  9. 10/10 update these new vehicles are gonna be super cool to see in battle
  10. 2 questions 1: does the requisitions NPC have an arc-170 now? 2: When will 19th air wing be opening?
  11. Suggestion This one is simple, replace the current loading screen with a regular garnet one. If you've played on any other garnet servers, you've seen the regular loading screen, where it cycles through screenshots of the map with some jokes. Reasoning It would make the server feel more unique and more like a garnet server. Its one of those things that really wouldn't make a big difference, it would just be nice to have. Additional Information - Load into MRP or DRP and you'll see what I'm talking about
  12. -1 (still) Look, you improved the events, but I still think this app is lacking. The events could be more descriptive, you NEED 2 paragraphs, and 54 hours of playtime really isnt much. Look, I am not equally comparing you to harry, tuna, fonza, or roberto. You have significantly less experience, less playtime, and I dont know you as much. You have a lot more to prove to me through this application compared to the others. Put simply, I will always prefer the experienced long-time member with the bare minimum over an inexperienced new guy with an okay at best application.
  13. +1 This man is the definition of based. He’s helped me when I’ve needed help, been serious when he needed to be serious, and everything in between. I was hoping I’d see something like this in staff applications from mark to +1 at some point. Tbh my only problem with this whole thing is the lack of explanation about the warn.
  14. average h harry enjoyer +1 (for reasons already mentioned)
  15. In-game name: P233 SCBM RCTL SSG 1313 Aidan/ Padawan I Koda Vandule Age: 14 SteamID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:1:427377264 Warns: 0 Timezone: PST Playtime?: | P233 SCBM RCTL SSG 1313 Aidan has played for 142:11:49 Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: Yes Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?: Yes Referral(s): [What administrator recommended you to apply?] Twix, Winter Past experiences as a Game Master: [Optional] I was a Trial Admin on DRP a few months ago and I hosted a few events. Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] I should be chosen over other applicants because of my willingness to learn, my activity, my knowledge of star wars lore, and my creative ideas for events. For starters, I treat everything as a learning experience. I will always take something away from what I'm doing. This would help me create better and better events as I go on. Whether my learning comes from someone giving me honest feedback for an event, or me learning a new trick when setting up an event, I would always, and I mean always, take something away from the events I host. Secondly, I find that I'm active mostly when events are not going on. I seem to be most active around slow hours where the most interesting thing is the little bit of medrp going on in the medbay. I would aim to change these slow hours to times people want to get on and play during. I wouldn't host huge off-world events that would take away from the peak hour's event, however I would do some smaller stuff, like having a hostage situation at village, or having the base be under attack. Over the years learned a lot about star wars lore. I've considered myself to be a 'star wars nerd' since I was about 7, and because of this, I think I could host events that are somewhat lore accurate. I would apply my extensive knowledge of star wars to my events, which would make them more interesting, as well as better, as I would be doing some things that GMs who aren't as well versed in star wars lore might not have known about. My knowledge of sw lore would also keep me grounded, but not in a bad way. I wouldn't do things that are not allowed by the lore, keeping things believable. Finally, I have creative ideas for events (which Ill go into more in the last section of the app). A lot of my event ideas aren't huge event, but rather small ones. In my opinion, smaller events somewhat often keep things more interesting than large events once every few days. People also tend to feel more connected to the events and what's going on when they're on a smaller scale. I'd also try to do some events which all connect to each other in a way. They would have a sort of storyline. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details. Over a year ago when I was brand new to gmod I got in trouble on a server for RDM because I had no idea what was going on, but I’ve never been banned or warned on any garnet servers. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: Mon-Wed is hard for me, but I can be on most other days after 4 PST. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: The main responsibility of a gamemaster is to keep things fresh and interesting. They are meant to host events which keep people engaged with the server and keep people interested. Without any gamemasters, the server would be long dead because it would be uninteresting having nothing happen ever. Gamemasters keeping the server interesting doesn’t just have to come from doing huge off-world events, they can also do smaller things, such as doing some sims in citadel, or doing a small-scale event where zeta is overtaken with droids. No matter how a gamemaster chooses to do this, their main responsibility is to keep the server fun and interesting. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I would contribute to RP as a part of the gamemaster team by helping everyone get involved. I am well versed in the lore of star wars, and as such, I know what battalions should be doing what beyond the surface level stuff, and I would aim to involve all of the battalions in my events however possible. I would attempt to make it so each battalion gets a time to shine where they can do their thing. For example, I could have an event which starts with a 91st patrol coming back with some information, which prompts 41st to go do some reconnaissance, and their findings prompt 212th, 501st, and 327th to launch an all-out assault on separatist forces, and they find a civilian is being held captive which makes 104th go do some negotiations. I wont keep going into detail, but you get the general idea. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: My single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server would be doing more player driven events. I would give ECs open ended things, and they could go from there. I would have a rough outline of where I wanted to go with the event, or what I wanted to do, but I would change it based off of what happened with the players. I would make sure things didn't get too out of hand, but I would give everyone lots of freedom with the event, leading to arguably more enjoyable roleplay scenarios. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] Idea 1: Kidnapping Clones! After some strange interference in some comms devices, a patrol of a few 91st and 41st went out to the radio tower to see what was wrong. They came back reporting nothing out of the ordinary going on, but were missing one trooper. After another patrol went out looking for the trooper, it happened again. One final patrol went out and were met with the same result. At this point, the base was locked down. Nobody could enter or leave without permission from a naval officer. This lockdown continued for a while until the three clones all appeared at the front gate. They were all disoriented and weak, and needed medical attention, fast. After they were brought back to a stable state, they seemed off. They weren't acting like their normal selves, and they couldn't remember anything. At this point, a huge patrol was sent out to figure out what was happening. They found a large droid presence at village, and a separatist leader/admiral thing. The clones were able to eliminate the droids, but were too late to stop the leader escaping to his ship. Luckily, a tracking device was placed on his ship, and he was tracked to a droid factory on geonosis. The 34th battlegroup quickly chased this person down to geonosis. After fighting through swarms of droids, the clones found themselves face to face with the leader. The leader quickly rose some rayshields and once again escaped to his ship. Before departing to follow him once more, the clones investigated the room and found that he had kidnapped and scanned the clones to try to get intel on the republic. They found that this data was being stored on a drive that must be recovered. The clones checked the tracking device and found the person had fled to a capital ship. The clones boarded the venator and set off to find him. A huge battle ensued once the clones reached the separatist capital ship. A strike team of ARC and RC were sent onto the ship stealthily to destroy the drive. They made it to the leader, but were found out and captured. A detachment of clones from all battalions were then sent out to help them. They were successful. The drive was destroyed, and the leader was captured. From here I would leave the rping up to the cg to interrogate the leader. Idea 2: They've got civs! Anaxes base received an unnerving distress signal from Tatooine. A small village of friendly civs was completely overrun by CIS forces and they were going to kill the civs to use their village as a spearhead for trying to take Tatooine from the Hutts. The 34th battlegroup quickly responds by boarding the venator and flying out to Tatooine. Before we attack the CIS forces in the village, we meet with a Hutt leader, as they did not like such a large republic presence on Tatooine. We explain what the CIS is trying to do, and after some thought, the Hutt agrees to help the republic in re-taking the village, and sends a few mercs to assist in the battle. The republic surrounds the village completely, and then sends the mercs in to do as much damage to the CIS as possible before going further. All seems to be going well until the mercs cut communications with the republic forces. This raises suspicion, and some clones are sent in to sneakily investigate. They find that the mercs had cut a deal with the separatists to get the clones into position to be decimated once the time came. The clone forces are forced to scramble following this information. A huge onslaught of CIS forces begin firing upon the clones from all around. AATs, droids, Magna Guards, Commando Droids, everything is there. The clones quickly take the village and are forced to use it as a defensive position from the CIS onslaught. The civilians quickly take up arms to help defeat the CIS forces. After a long fight, the CIS forces are eliminated, but a good amount of the village was destroyed in the process. The clones stick around a bit to help in rebuilding, but things will never be the same for this small sand village. Idea 3: All Out Assault A strange person comes to the base, requesting entry. He seems injured and close to death, so the navy allow it. He stumbles into the base and is treated in the medbay. It takes him a while, but eventually he fully gains consciousness. He claims to have important info regarding the CIS, but refuses to talk to a clone about it. He then is escorted to NCC to speak with Navy about the CIS. Before he begins speaking he asks that all clones exit the room. CG are dismissed from the room, and are called in to guard Navy. He begins to tell of a plan to destroy Anaxes base with a huge turbolaser currently being built beyond the outposts, and as he is speaking, the lights go out. Engineers are able to fix the lights, but in the chaos, the person dissapeared, and comms were disabled. Engineers try to fix comms, but are unable to. The man is then seen running to a ship which just landed on the runway, and is then flown off. As this is all happening, a massive CIS fleet appears above anaxes base and begins laying siege to the base. Near endless amounts of CIS forces attack the base, and comms are not usable to coordinate the troopers. This causes chaos which leads to the base being completely overrun by droids. After a while, comms come back online, and clones are ordered to meet outside of NCC. Once a large enough force organizes, they set out to decimate the forces. They are successful in this endeavor, and expel CIS forces from the base. Outside, the clones shoot down the CIS ships above the base, and find two things. The corpse of the man who started it all, and a comms device. When reading through the history of the comms device, the clones uncover that everything the person was saying was false. There was no turbolaser. He was simply trying to distract the base to disable comms. From here, the clones COULD take the battle to the droids on a different planet, but this seems to be a good place to end it off. Idea 4: The Banker A banking clan member requests to land in Anaxes airspace. He is granted permission, and a detachment of troopers are sent to meet him. When they find him they search both him and his ship and find nothing. They escort him to the base. The banking clan member requests to meet with both a member of the Jedi council and a member of the republic navy. The banking clan member explains how his son was once a member of the CIS army. He didn't want his son to take that path in life, but he did. He then explains how a certain jedi (will be selected during the event taking place) killed his son in combat. He explains how his son was surrendering, and how his screaming in pain. This brings the banking clan member to his main point, give him the head of this Jedi, and he will stop something bad from happening, and give up important CIS information. He then says "I cannot tell you what will happen, but you will regret it if my demands aren't met." He then says "I will wait for your decision." From here the event takes one of two paths. If the navy decide to kill the jedi and hand over his head, the banking clan member will tell them that a somewhat large CIS force is gathering at aurek, and that they plan to attempt to take the base. He warns that he believes they will be successful if they aren't stopped. A large group of clones are then sent off to aurek to destroy the CIS forces. They are taken by surprise and completely decimated. If this path is taken, the jedi in question will receive an NPK. Alternatively, if the navy and jedi chose to not hand over the head, the banking clan member says "I will leave now." and goes to his ship, saying nothing else, and then departing. For about 15 minutes, not too much happens. It is a pretty uneventful day for Anaxes. This changes however, when a massive CIS force from Aurek begins their attack. Depending on how the clones react to this, the droids may be pushed back quickly, and then the battle will be taken to Aurek where the droids get wiped out, or the droids will advance into the base, compromising the first floor, causing panic throughout the base. Either way, the droids will eventually be pushed back to Aurek where they get destroyed. This event would be a player driven one. Idea 5: Nobody to Trust Anaxes base received a destress signal from a nearby base. They were being completely overrun by separatists. The clones quickly organized their forces, and set out on the venator. When they arrived to the coordinates given, they began to disembark, until a massive CIS fleet surrounded them, shooting down the venator within minutes. The clones woke up hours later on the surface of a planet. The venator had crashed, the clones had lost their equipment, and worst of all, comms were disabled. Clones were all spread out across this planet, and after some investigation, the clones discovered the planet was infested with shapeshifting monsters. The clones would search the planet for any salvageable weaponry. The clones were not able to trust one another because of the shapeshifting monsters. The clones needed to organize a way to identify who was a real clone and who wasn't. They would need to reference things that were on anaxes and quiz the other clones to confirm they were a real clone. After a while, a somewhat large group of clones organized, and set out to gather the rest of the troopers. After a bit of searching, most troopers were reunited with one another. From here, the republic forces needed to find a way to escape the planet. They quickly found and old abandoned radio tower from the old republic ages. It was a listening post to assist the republic in destroying the Mandalorian blockade long ago. Engineers need to gather any resources they can find to make the radio tower work again. After a bit, they are able to restore power to the device. They use it to call any local republic forces who are willing to help. This gets to a local republic fleet, but also to the CIS. The CIS attempt to wipe out all the clones they can on the ground, and things are looking dire. This was until a venator flies in, leaving the CIS almost defenseless as they get bombarded by the venator. This venator rescues the clones, and they return to anaxes base safely. The clones then undergo medical checkups to make sure they are all okay following the crash.
  16. +1 wouldnt be too hard. the gm could just set up a fading door for each prop they want to break
  17. Garnet has said time and time again that this will never happen end of story
  18. Not sure how I feel about the shield getting added to all cg classes, it almost defeats one of the main features of riot. Other then that, great update
  19. Can we get that shock baton that Conway was giving us permanently added to cg at some point?
  20. just an fyi, hours on another account dont add. You need to have at least 72 hours on the account you are applying with.
  21. Sorry man, the minimum requirement is 72 hours. Try to get more playtime and re-apply. (-1)
