  1. Didn't mean for it to be offensive. The whole post was meant to regard an issue that seemed to be a rather easy fix, to allow a faction that was now gaining traction to properly utilize their classes. I do think you mis-interpreted me a bit however, cause I had meant that the Ghost class had the issues Frogmen had BESIDES a shit hitbox. I do understand that I was incorrect about the class having all the errors of frogmen but that is how it was presented to me at the time when I was talking to Rangers. I was not an active Ranger at the time, nor am I now. I made the suggestion for them and had expected if there was any errors, they would correct them as they can actually play on the class(es). Overall the update does look really good, I appreciate that some-most of the changes were brought from suggestions. May I ask what objective the bombsites are for S&D(if anyone knows atm)?

  4. +1, Embassy cap zone makes it feel really wonky. -1, Boardwalk is really unique to me and allows for combat to be focused around the whole middle of the map as opposed to single areas. It makes for a good objective to send both a SOC group and entry as you need people holding areas other than just the Boardwalk. It makes clearing it really dynamic and frankly if you swapped it to be Town, it would lead to a whole height advantage struggle because of how low town is compared to the terrain around it.
  5. So basically, while I'm on the server it gets brought to my attention that there might be someone on an alt-account as a new player was doing really well in tryouts. It gets brought to my attention that someone heard it talk and that it might be 'Railgunner'. I ask why that would be an issue and get told that he was banned for mass. We ask the player to talk. No response via mic, responds via text. I do further digging, rp_lookup and I see the steam name is GarnetRex40. I remembered this name from somewhere, looked around on forums for a while and what do you know? It's linked to Railgunner's new forum account. This exact steam:id btw STEAM_0:1:175043386. Here's an SS of him saying it's him too, and y'know it being in his signature. I tell Vizii that, yes it's an account linked with Railgunner, take him to a sit in the meantime. He brings him to a sit and within ~30 seconds he left the server. From there I banned the GarnetRex40 account for Ban Evasion, brought the situation up to executives and was given approval to update Rail's main account to a Perm for Ban Evasion. I also took into consideration this user's past with the server considering that they have ban evaded before, Railgunner was Egry and was ban evaded under the name Railgunner but nobody had evidence at the time. He has openly said this to me. The user got banned on that account for cheating and has previously amassed 3 bans in the past and got perma'd for that. Previous to all these bans however, he was also recognized as a minge and had been blacklisted from almost every faction. Should you require any other evidence, I can possibly look through my GMOD screenshots from the past couple days to pull more.

  7. Description: In essence I am suggesting some current amendments and changes that can be made to the Ranger faction. I aim to keep this suggestion rather short and not too in-depth as there are very very minor issues at hand. Ghost fixes: The US Ranger : Ghost class has the same errors of Frogmen when they were first released, besides a shit hitbox. The class is not assigned to the US 'team' and thus they cannot type in US radio on this class, cannot count towards US Objective's during war and can also kill both sides during war. The class is rather underutilized due to this error and quite frankly cannot operate properly. In essence, it is broken. Field Medic fixes: The US Ranger : Field Medic class can talk in radio and is properly assigned to the US 'team,' however it has large hitbox that rather keeps the class from performing at it's peak capability. The class should have it's player model reverted to the "CODMW2 Guy"(don't know the full string, there will be an image below). This is simply due to the fact that this model represent similarity to the rest of the Ranger models and has a working hitbox that matches closely to the model. Reasoning: This would allow the Ranger faction to properly function and not be limited to their single Rifleman class and single Commander Whitelist for combat. Also you said you would fix this in September, however two months have passed and this is not the case.   9. Don't know where this confusion is coming from. 15 points is the minimum for FRP in war, yes. RDM is any form of damage in a non-applicable scenario.

    MRP Overhaul

    +1, talked it over with shrimps last night and he cleared up most of my questions. Personally I think this will do better than Top Tier factions trying to be RP heavy because; 1. There is more incentive to tryout ( It's a whole new side, you can't just fail and still play alongside those people ) 2. The way for the faction to run is clearly established. One thing I would like to see implemented to help streamline this though, maybe add/rework the Radio/squad addon a bit in addition to this update. What I mean by this is give the NPC ability to recognize squads of G4S so that the ODR can license out a squad to that side AND assign that squad as being on their team(this will prevent TeamKilling and allow G4S to use the radio). This could cause some issues, block some sorts of RP possibly. To avoid that, simply just allow that at any time, either the head of the G4S squad can pull the group out, or even any Officer+ in G4S, OR just allow anyone in the squad to pull out and it would pull out the whole squad. This would allow for a scenario like this to occur: G4S gets hired to protect a high ranking US General who's holding tryouts in the town under boardwalk for 1 billion. G4S accepts this, a squad of 4 Enlisted and a LT+ are sent out to protect the general, additionally they gain access to the United States Radio and 'team', this is broadcasted through the radio to tell US that it has been accepted, ("G4S Alpha Squad has been granted access to the US Communications")-something along those lines. They then accept an offer of 100 billion from RU to execute that same General, the Commander accepts, and backs the squad out of their current Operation and assigns them to the Russian operation, they now no longer can view US comms, or are considered US 'team', but can see RU comms/RU 'team'. ^Also would this type of scenario be possible? Or would it be blocked out by rules?^ Only a few side notes and questions I have are as follows; Questions: Will G4S be able to have it's own independent claim area that it may enforce? And if so, would it be allowed to license out G4S' claim to US/RU? Will G4S be able to personally interfere with the war to demonstrate their services? Would they be able to even cap objectives/count towards TDM? Side Notes: - Make a 3rd team for G4S' radio to function and so they can kill both sides in war if needed. (Or just modify what I said up above and make G4S a neutral group, but assign a squad a team when they are licensed out to a faction).

This is all from my perspective and without the information that was later provided to me through the other 2 ban appeals which were deleted.Why should your ban be removed?: Well for one, the reason of memeware isn't an actual ban. I assume the true reason was for advertisement because thats what I have been told. So lets say this, where and when did I advertise? In my name? Sure, I displayed "MEMEWARE" in my name. However, I never explicitly said, go do this, go buy this or promoted any product, service, event or job vacancy. I simply had it as a way of expression with my friends. That is what it was, expression. If someone wears a MAGA hat, they aren't saying vote for trump, they are expressing their views towards it. If someone on the Prostitute job trys to sell sex, are they attempting to get you to purchase things off a website with the name sex? No. The only person to have advertised was Austin, and his ban stands rightfully so. I had done my best to evade the supposed advertisement as soon as I was notified that it had been made an issue, and yet no staff had even warned me, it was my friends who warned me. There is no sufficient proof that I, personally, have advertised anything related to a certain cracked cheat software or E-sports group, I have only expressed myself through my RPname with a group of friends that identify ourselves through a similar name. I never noticed or announcemed in a public medium promoting a product, service, or event or publicizing a job vacancy.<-That is the actual definition of advertisement btw. (Also I'm going to be at work the rest of the day so if this could stay up for more than 24 hours so I can respond, that would be appreciated.)

(include any proof): The reporter (forgot name) killed me within a base close to my party's base because he was raiding. I come back to the area to MY base, both to watch and to discuss with the party leader what we want to make with the base. I was not interfering with the raid by any means, I had not instigated any retaliation to the raider, yet he turned around and sniped me while I was on my base wall looking for the right prop to spawn. About 5 minutes later I get pulled to a sit for NLR. Why should your warn be removed?: The reportee attempts to get me warned for Mass NLR, Dick then checks logs and only says that there were TWO kills. Warn gets shifted down to NLRx2 for some reason? The two kills would imply that I broke NLR once since I died one time then again. I explain this, warn gets bumped down to NLRx1 without any evidence provided by the reporter for actually being within the area/interfering with his raid. I even explained that I was within my base at the time and at that point the reporter was just spamming to warn and go, I get warned, jailed and now here I am.

  14. Huh. Never seen the lazer actually work like that. Thats pretty neat. Regarding there being no arm/head/leg hitbox and shit, thats cause for those models they were all considered Body Hitboxes before, just spread out among the body, so when Nutter re-shaped them he probably didn't think twice to redo the hitboxes to be their correct hitbox(that being Leg,Arm,Head). I'd suggest looking at other models and seeing how their different hitboxes are coded for a reference(I sadly can't help with the code for this cause I have never done hitbox work). Good luck though Nutter. If the model is overall just fucked, I'd say see if other Ghost models are fucked on the Workshop and if so, possibly just look towards instituting new models if they are completely un-able to be fixed.
  15. Vega and Frogmen should be the priority as they are widely used (mostly Frogmen) and have specialties for each faction. A faction shouldn't be hindered from using their class and have a disadvantage because their hitbox is massive. RU Ghillie's hitbox is rather accurate, the only problem is that it is slightly infront of the model and that the rigid leaves make it hard to decipher the clarity between model and bush( US ghillie had a much more clear bush where you can distinct which is bush from body ). The model itself does something weird that I haven't seen on other models though when it crouch jumps, this should possibly be looked in to. If it can't be fixed I'd suggest Garnet look into if someone like @Im Dream would be open to editing US ghillie to have two models, one for RU, one for US and making them stand out a bit more in their differences.
  16. Personally I'd like to see an M14 EBR (the donater one) have a re-balance. Either removal of full auto or a firerate decrease. Something to keep it balanced cause atm it's incredibly strong in every scenario. Considering the new map isn't really fit for vehicles I'd like to see if SOC/Spets Commander classes could be extended to TWO max slots and have the return of those classes having their specialties( GRU would get it's sniper, SSO it's SMG, Frogmen it's SMG, Vega it's C4, GB their shotgun, MARSOC their SCAR Heavy again( or their M82), SEALs their SMG and Rangers hopefully a speciality equal to that of Vega's C4, maybe a strong unique gun or a single use explosive. Vending machine amendments, most notably that to Kevlar and the Weight Reduction that you yourself said wasn't working as intended.

    1. VIP Mod exists. Enough said, and if you don't know what I mean by that its so that incels can't just buy it and ban someone causing them trouble. 2. It gets lower staff more comfortable with lower issues first, like issuing warnings and jails, etc. It also lets them progressively get more comfortable with the system instead of just allowing every command at once. 3. You can't trust everyone. Especially with DRP's lower age for staff members, it's better if you can see how they perform first before giving the every permission right away. A well known community member, could be a fucking horrible staff, but still have a decent rep on his application, leading to it being accepted.

On your first staff app (August 22nd, 2018) you claimed you were 14 turning 15 soon in a month.(Correlates with the time provided with your birthday. Next staff app (September 20th, 2018) you claim you were 15, despite your birthday being on the 21st.(Not a horrible issue). Buttttt.... it's been a full year since when you turned from 14 to 15. So I ask this question, which staff app was there an error. Which staff app did you lie on. Or are you 16 now and forgot to put it? Also most of you frogmen just got back from like a week of being rather inactive, so personally I don't see it the perfect time to apply.

    Jobs to Add/Edit

    rp_lookup their name in console and it shows you their job that hasn't been edited by /job. So lets say they're on rapist and have their /job as Citizen. You see them with a large gun out, while also previously having seen them rape someone. Do rp_lookup, see that they are a Rapist and make the report. /job doesn't change the class you are on. If you are on Rapist and do /job to change it to display Citizen, you still have to follow Rapist rules. If they try to loophole, punish them. Or just check Job logs(if DRP has that).
  23. Gonna start this off with a disclaimer. These are multiple suggestions, relating to different topics and aspects of MRP. Not all of them have widely been addressed however I feel that regardless if they are accepted or not, they deserve some community feedback. [Neostead Changes] Description: Essentially here I am suggesting for the Neostead to be more like it's Base CW2.0 counterpart. Change the damage to 9x20. Effective range to 40metres and damage fall off to 50%. Reasoning: Making the Neostead more like it's original CW2.0 counterpart would add a uniqueness to the shotgun. It would no longer be essentially another copy/paste shotgun, but have a uniqueness with it's shit load of pellets. Make the shotgun fit as a different weapon rather then just another shotgun and add some uniqueness to the weapon. Additional Information: [Photos/Videos][/CODE]: N.A [Vending Machine Ammendments] Description: Essentially just making mulitple suggestions for changes to vending machine items(may change when I look at more feedback and issues I might have overlooked) Kevlar: Reduce armor given to 50% from 100%. Keep $5000 cost. Weight Reduction: Fix to fit it's intended purpose/effects. Morphine: Reduce from 25hp to 5hp. Makes it so you can just barely survive a sniper shot. Makes it basically a cheap prestige for players, and let's prestiged players get away with a bit more hp from surviving a sniper shot. Keep $500 price. Having a vending machine at each gate: Place a vending machine at each gate. Simple as that Reasoning: Kevlar: Armor is strong as shit. 100 is way too much. If you are a prestiged player, you basically take 0 damage as long as you have armor up. Armor also makes fights really fucking long and needlessly extends the TTK too much. 50 should be a decent balance since you will lose it faster and it will be better for more of a first push/flank instead of all-round. Weight Reduction: Garnet himself said it is currently not working as intended, thus it should be fixed. Also it's basically low-grav. Morphine: Morphine is pretty strong, surviving a sniper fight with 25 hp is quite a lot when compared to prestige players. It also causes fights where an SMG is used to require 5 shots, and like armor needlessly extends the TTK. Plus this combined with kevlar is pretty op. IMO it should be a situational thing you buy to help you come out of a sniper fight alive and have time to react rather then just a straight tank boost. Having a vending machine at each gate: Causes 1 OBJ wars at certain OBJ's to be one-sided a bit because that side has a vending machine at that gate.
