hey guys, me and this girl have been texting back and forth a lot recently from my college. we both REALLY want to meet each other personally, and we plan on meeting up over winter break.
she adores video games as much as i do and we both share common interests. one of these commonalities was growing up with the Nintendo Wii, and seeing that this girl still has her wii and i still have mine (my wii having recently been modded by a friend of mine), i was thinking that our first date should be just that: a wii date with pizza, as I think we would be the most comfortable in that sorta environment.
im starting to believe that me half-jokingly saying awhile back that “the best first date would be a 1v1 on Wii sports boxing” might become reality.

I'm very excited for this map. Definitely will hop on the server after the full release when I actually have time to not worry about college assignments.

i would also like to mention that not having the war timer made wars themselves more exciting to anxiously wait for because you never knew when the wars would actually start. i thought it was much cooler back then when you didn't know exactly when a huge war would break out. instead with a war timer telling you an exact timeframe, it takes you out a little bit over everything else that's going on with the server because, as you mentioned, you have to worry about the timer and come up with a plan as to what you're going to do in an hour before the war. (i don't remember exactly if someone did manually keep track of a war timer back then or if we just randomly decided to start a war if we felt that there hadn't been one in a good while so correct me if im wrong.)

He literally proves my point that sympathy overrules everything in a ban appeal.

The rules don’t matter because we act way too sympathetic towards people who 110% deserve to be banned in the moment. People want Xploding unbanned not necessarily because he changed but mostly because the people that want him unbanned are his friends and they just want him back on the server. I’m not denying he hasn’t changed but I mean come on, where’s the consistency in these rules? If you get perma banned because you were toxic and you massed it should always stay unless if it’s TRUELY unjustified.

Like Secret I’m not going to go against your depression as a bullshit excuse but in the moment you definitely deserved the ban. I agree with @VBourbon on just lowering the ban but at this point the MRP bans and the rules don’t mean anything anymore. Like all you need to do now to get unbanned is act nice in TS and talk to people to earn sympathy, have your whole friend group support you and then it becomes easy for a ban appeal to be accepted.
