  1. +1 + confirming my referral!

Supra has been an active part of the community for a little while now. He joined my Green Beret about a month back, worked himself up the ranks, and ultimately went up a tier within the Untied States SOC. I have seen nothing but dedication from Supra, he has been active nonstop, one of the few that plays as a Ranger, and always interacts with the community. Supra has a very nice character and he praises people constantly for the small things that they do. Definitely towards the top of my list with staff prospects!

Wish the best of luck to you Supra!

  2. +1

Twig has shown absolute dedication to the server within the past couple of months. He has made a great name for himself recently and stands out to me as a person.

I feel as if the MRDM shouldn’t be looked at too much. Past mistakes don’t matter, it’s how you act after the mistake that truly shows someones character.

I wish you the best of luck and really look forward to possibly having you in the GM team.

  3. I was one the one that had taken the sit.

During the sit, Jackal brought up that getting over obstruction and going around a corner are both maneuvering the map and it falls under the same category. I proceeded to tell him that crouch jumping is unrealistic, it breaks your hitbox, and you used it not as it was intended for. He asked where it was in the rules, I said it falls under FailRP.

He continued to disagree with me and Pigeon and said that it's intolerable that it isn't in the rules. However, I brought up the fact of precedent and enforcing it. I, myself, have been warned for crouch-jumping in war and I know the what to do and what not to do. This is all a precedent case and breaking your hitbox to get around cover is not something that is allowed within the server.

The only complication here is that the rule is indeed somewhat unwritten, but I wouldn't think that would matter as people are constantly reminded on the fact that crouch jumping (in certain ways) just isn't allowed in the server. This has been a rule for a while, I was just shocked how you haven't heard of this rule. I think Smity is correct with warranting the warn, however a change in the rules documents should go more in-depth when it comes to things like these.

To sum it up, the warn should stay, the rules should go into depth.

This is the corner that he jumped around. (No obstruction blocking someone from getting around the corner)

  4. Confirming my referral and also giving my +1!

Jason, since coming back, has show great dedication to this server and has proven his ability of leadership! Definitely could be a great asset to the staff team!

  5. These were the two clips that were provided during the sit:

    Smity's POV https://streamable.com/nts43a

    KMP (ISI Agent Chi's) POV : https://streamable.com/jajbxd

For the some backstory, KMP was enforcing Afghanistan ROE outside the United States base, Smity was one of the few people that was killed. Smity went and killed KMP in the tower, mind you KMP was not seen by Smity (other than being killed) when he had a weapon out. Smity, during the sit, proceeded to say that he heard gun shots coming from the bush and that led him to assume that KMP was shooting, however in the server rules, the ROE states "If friendly was killed and perceived in-character you can check them for weapons used recently and "Detain them to do this" You can kill them. For now you can /roll."

Yes, Smity did hear gunshots coming from bush, however he did not see KMP shooting nor with a gun even out. Even if Smity had assumptions, he jumped to action and decided to kill KMP instead of rolling. Therefore, it breaks ROE and this justifying the RDM warn being handed out.

  6. Currently in Green Beret, never have had any issues with him. He’s been great with leadership, responsibility and shows the absolute upmost respect when it comes to other members.

See no issue with him becoming staff, +1 (Also, add me to referrals)

  7. I want to propose a POSSIBLE alternative to this issue.

    Current System for Recruits:

Recruits spawn in the OOC lounge, where they are met with a long hallway and text at the end of that hallway. This text is basic instruction on how to swap to either US Army : Recruit or Taliban Army : Recruit and how to get hold of a trainer with the server.

    image.png

Possible Change with System for Recruits:

Where the basic instructions are located, under them are NPCs that the basic new player can access with "E". When the new player interacts with the NPC (whichever they choose), it will ask if they are sure and if they click "confirm" they will be teleported right to the Taliban/United States recruit room.

    Some Possible Other Features

    • Above the NPCs can be text that can promote about your side of the server such as the ROE (Taliban incentive), SOC factions, weaponry, etc.
    • The NPC can automatically give Support role, just incase nobody is on to train the recruit.
    • A popup box can also show up that lets the new player type in their name, this is so that their name can automatically be set to 11B PVT (Name) or Tali PVT (Name), this defeating the major confusion that some recruits have at the start of training.

I think this idea could give a new player more choice on the experience they want to be apart of while in the server!

  8. I have no issues with this proposal, however, I think it should be combined with the current party system.

This party system improves communication and speaking within the community, if Garnet can apply the /p chat, health bar display of others, and outlines for players within the party, then the party system would be perfect.

Cause at the end of the day, you can always deafen and mute in the parties, just incase you don’t want to hear/talk to anyone.

    +1.

and attack your whole ancestry. It drove players to try harder.

Does this mean, as a staff member, I can talk some mean trash during war? I’ve been needing to get some stuff off my chest recently. (joking… somewhat)

And with this suggestion, I think a lot of this can give a drive to players and have them engage more within the server. Nothing makes me strive more to get better than getting killed by an ISI member and my whole ego gets targeted for getting “farmed” by a T1 player. +1, this entire suggestion is a W!

  10. Here, it states that you CAN'T copy your previous application or anyone else's.

Your paragraphs and most of your events are all from your last application as a gamemaster. The descriptions for the events are literally copied word for word.

The application I am basing all of this off on.

In my opinion It should be limited to 3 friends that way it doesn't steal from US OR TALI

Then, at that point, the entire faction should just be removed. If it is limited to only 3 people, there is no real use for it.

Currently I use the battery ram as an MP to get people out of cars and to go into buildings

There is no stopping the new breaching utilities from being added to Military Police whitelists. You can receive breaching charges and riot shields on the class for coordinated pushes into bunks to arrest someone. However, I too am Military Police, and nothing makes me angrier than when someone struggles out of cuffs and abuses the breaching ram to get out. This also goes for possible jailbreaks being stopped due to the fact that not everyone has access to the battering ram.

I use it for war to again get people out of cars and currently to get into COMMS

Please read over my suggestion, it samples how every example can add to war/roleplaying scenarios. Not only can you use these examples for usual war techniques, but also countering snipers, giving new mechanics to CQC, and providing new additions to overall strategy.

should be widely available as it can bring variety to the game

But why should they come in a wide variety? Why should everyone that tries out for the class get it? Just because you use it doesn't mean the other 95% of certified players will.

if players want certain things from certs in their faction they can put a job/weapon suggestion up

There are suggestions that can be put out there, however, like I stated, this suggestion is meant to open the possibilities and capabilities of these additions being added.

we can do more tryouts for them and executives can determine what staff ranks can do the tryouts so there can be more of them

Might I ask, and I don't mean to diss, but which executive are we talking about? From what I've seen, certification tryouts have not been held since last Omega. The staff team continues to explain how they will host more tryouts and such, yet never actually get to it. Converting these 3 different types of tools can help ease the process and let factions handle it.
