I agree with Chrisrid on this one, it's not a matter of simply removing them or making them useless in a raid scenario, we need to find a happy medium wherein they're still effective, just not so much as to be totally useless or totally overpowered. Like nutter said above, possibly lowering the passthrough damage depending on how many layers of props there are would help to protect you, but if this was a known percentage, I could foresee people stacking multiple props across the face of their base in order to be invincible. (Players who don't know about the passthrough rate & newbies would still be vulnerable.) I like the idea of increasing the cost for rocket ammo, since rocket launchers are so powerful, raising the cost of them in the !unbox shop might help to convey the idea that they should be preserved and only used on formidable opponents. Something that would be awesome (but could be impossible) would be buying a rocket shield from the F4 menu to protect yourself.. There are many options to consider, maybe we'll just have to keep playing with it until we find the correct solution to make it fair to both sides. I feel like removing explosives completely will upset the VIP population while pleasing the casual/newbie pop; However, I don't believe this is the solution to the problem as it stands now.

We will also seek out more ways to incentivize the gangs, but this is a good place to start.   7. In my version of this, it would not be restricted solely to clans, any team could be created and compete against the others. Ideally, how I would resolve the issues you pointed out would be to give everyone the same exact parameters, strip all contestant's weapons and give everyone the same gun(s), same armor, same health, and disallow buying additional armor/health. Ideally, I'd like to see each team select certain classes/roles for each member, like TF2 roles. There would be 1-2 players (depending on size) for each class, Shotgunner, AR, SMG, Sniper, and Medic. I would seek the help of my Game Masters in building a HUGE arena in the grassland ontop of the map, and let them use that as their battlefield. There are many ways to moderate this, as long as the people would not be toxic I could definitely see this being successful in the right GM's hands.

Denied____________________________________After experimenting with peeks, it's evident that raiding has become easier (or, possible at all,) now that we have removed the ability to use pixel peeks. This suggestion may be visited in the future as we try to make raiding perfectly balanced on each side, but for now this is not something I foresee being changed.Thank you for your time!

    Raiding Rule

    Denied____________________________________This alteration would benefit the average gun shop or open-lobby base by giving them more time to prepare a defense against oncoming raiders, but unfortunately, it would be very difficult to track. It seems like we would be running around in circles for most reports on this because of the large percentage of our population who can't/don't care to record their every move on OBS or medal.     Accepted ____________________________________ Hobos need XP too! Especially since dumpster diving takes actual time + effort to walk around the map, this would allow hobo to work somewhat like deliveryman for XP, I think this addition would do just fine! Denied In large quantities, hats can already have an effect on performance if enabled, allowing multiple hats to be used at once would risk adding more of a performance impact to cosmetics, additionally, there are already plenty of other options that can be used alongside hats, even on the head.   17. Partially Denied? Our administration team already has the freedom to extend bans based on previous/repetitive actions, the only real thing to do here would be to add a mention of this to the D3A handbook. I'll pass the permanent voicechat mute suggestion onward, but the rest of this is already a thing. Any staff member can request that an admin+ audit a player's historic bans for a potential extension, if you have a problem with recurring behaviours, that would be the ideal course of action. Denied Unfortunately, this seems to be a bit unnecessary to change, especially given the few people on the server who use the banker role; If you have a problem with police attempting to raid the bank, you are always welcome to submit an in-game report and our staff team will resolve these issues at the source. Ideally, we want the standard laws to be as simplistic as possible, and after the mayor adds all of their laws, the box is big enough already. For now, there is no foreseeable benefit to adding this. Denied While we appreciate your suggestion, this concept would open the doors to the same 30-40 permanent weapons floating around from person to person, since every time someone is finished they could just sell out; Also, this concept would impede new donations coming in and diminish the overall incentive of donating if you could get whatever you want from the guy next door. Appreciate your time, but this is not something we're interested in.
  21. @Vortex He caught on! @ceejbeej I was actually planning to do this as a server event, but waiting on our GameMaster Director to come back from his LOA, but I would definitely love to hear feedback from this. The only downside I can foresee is toxicity by who loses or who wins, bullying the other. As long as everyone can be mature, I'd be down to run this.

    DENIED After careful review of your appeal and the events pertaining/leading up to your ban. We regretfully inform you that your request for an appeal of your ban has been denied at this time. I have seen irrefutable evidence of you mass RDMing in the streets right outside of spawn, and also have my own videos from the last time I banned you for mass RDM; Overall, the behavior presented within both sits is rather disappointing to me, given your history with the server as a (previously) upstanding staff member. Speaking of your staff run, since you resigned on 10/22/2022, you have been banned 6 times for mass RDM: The two most recent times, I asked you why you did it and you said "because it's funny;" When Danny asked you why you did it you said "they were in my base," which, they absolutely were not. You attempted to abuse a known loophole to get yourself out of trouble, but apparently, you weren't satisfied with getting caught up in a lie in-game, you also had to come onto the forums and attempt to slither out of your ban on a technicality? Not only that, but presented a very low-effort appeal, without even filling out the format properly, wherein your only defense was betting on the assumption that Danny had no proof. Danny had requested after banning you that your ban be extended for repeated offenses, and after seeing the evidence he presented, I am inclined to agree with him; Bottom line is, you have nothing to gain by coming back and relentlessly breaking our rules, I have nothing to gain by allowing you to do so. Thank you for attempting an appeal, best of luck wherever life takes you from here, this is where we part ways. Your ban will be extended to permanent for repeated issues, go be a problem somewhere else.

    Denied While, yes, this skin is quite amusing and has its support within the community, bottom line is, it's very distracting and fuels the fire for disrespect to our staff members from problematic players; Yes, some of us may be able to handle this, but it could place some younger/less experienced staff members in difficult situations when a sit becomes more about how funny this playermodel is than the task at hand. ______________________________ I'm sure this isn't the last time we'll hear about this, but for now it is denied.
