The lives would be 2nd life, (you can either be MP or this) and how it is limited would be entirely upto the leaders.

I know what you may be thinking.. "This retard wants to bring back seals because he misses murdering everybody in war with the MP5"
But this is the opposite. I would think of it as AFSOC without helicopters.
I. The Introduction
The Seals having been a previous faction on the server, shouldn't be too hard to implement. However they will operate completely different. The only similarities will be the name.
Seals will be used strictly outside war (think how MP currently operates) They will be used in events, RP situations : Such as hostage situations, events, and even small things like an intel raid.
II. The Questions
Q: Why?
A: The server's main draw is PVP. Having new players coming join to learn how to "get good" at combat. However some people (like myself) enjoys the community, and likes emphasis on RP. AFSOC used to be the answer to these people. But was removed due to numerous issues, such as performance and no real reason to have them unless you were using them as taxis.
Q: How will it work?
A: The Seals will operate very similarly to AFSOC, for example : They will ONLY be used during peace time. They will also be used as a way to spearhead and lead events. During wars, if needed could be utilized as a "logistics expert" who can go and lead the war (without leaving base) by giving orders
Q: Is this just nostalgia bait for people who miss AFSOC
A: I feel that the server's events are more/less "shoot this guy" then leave. I feel that the Seals can have more complex events and give players who (for lack of a better word) are bad at PVP. Also having a strict RP faction can add to the character of the server where PVP reigns supreme.
III. The Classes
These would be very easy to integrate.. As the server already had SEALs on the server. Being a RP faction I don't feel that anything should be changed. No weapons should be specifically picked to be the "meta" as it doesn't really matter to an RP faction,
IV. The Use
"We are going to go raid Afghan base"
SEALs will spearhead this encounter, leading everybody in a specific and useful way. They will go and use their tools to grab intel/assassinate high priority targets.
"There is an event"
SEALs will be utilized for their recon/stealth capabilities. For example if there is a high priority target giving a speech and they need to eliminate him.
V. What about Tali?
This can be a very easy fix!
Give them VEGA group to do everything stated above for Tali.
There has been a high demand for them to make a reappearance on the server and I think that this would be a golden opportunity to do so.
VI. Test drive
We could have a "test drive" event for both factions. Much like how the ROE changes was done.
We could have SEALs and VEGA be deployed to accomplish opposite objectives in the same AOE
Ex. SEALs needs to assassinate a government official while VEGA needs to defend him with their lives.
VII. Conclusion
Why would we need this?
The short answer is we don't. However I feel that this can add character and more fun to the server.
This could also help draw people to be gamemasters and can strive for more complex and stressful events for the players.

What do you mean by that? Are you removing our weapons and just giving us like a DC-15? Or is it just a few weapons?

um I dont even understand why this exists. If you don't like what's going on ask garnet or even maybe theos With enough people coming to them directly i'm sure you can come to a solution, not removing big man himself.
also just because someone is a high rank in staff dosent mean they're manager material.

Past experiences as a Game Master: [Optional] Not really GM, but was Admin on MRP and would do a few events (check post event report on mrp)
Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]Being a pseudo GM on MRP has taught me how to communicate with 2 opposing forces, and keeping them both on track. I think I am very good at multitasking and should have no issues leading multiple battalions to separate objectives. I write out what event I want to do before actually doing it, so all EC's will know what to do, and how to do it. I am very good at RP whenever it comes to negotiations, which I feel personally the GM's kind of lack right now. Personally I like to do grand events, rather than multiple small events. Personally multiple small events, don't keep people interested. I think that having multiple endings, and even multiple objectives can be really fun for people.
As of now population is not where we would like it, as Garnet has said multiple times in the discord. I think that having events that really focus on 501st/212th is paramount so keep newer players. While also keeping them easy to follow, and easy to execute. Keeping everybody updated is a very important part to me. When hosting events on MRP, I would do things such as changing my name multiple times to have my comms have proper context. (ex. Russian Command | US Command.) This being said, I can play multiple characters and have a consistent story when written out. Playing characters is only part of being a GM however, having player EC's is another. EC's need to be updated and interested in what their playing. Making entertaining, and fun characters is a good way to keep them interested! Having the EC make their own character helps this. (ex. "Can my character be a drug dealer that is always high on his own supply") However doing this can lead to a lot of issues (ex. "Can my character be a loudmouth, who swears almost every sentence) Having a line that shall never be crossed is very good to have when giving people their own creativity.

Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I like to think I'm very good at keeping everybody engaged. (Ex. On MRP I've had an event where I led both teams towards a goal, changing my name and keeping everybody updated in the process.) I'm also a huge star wars fan so I know my fair share about lore.
Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: There could be a situation where a smuggler who is smuggling spice through Anaxes. He would then be intercepted by the Republic, afterwards they could flee to Coruscant's underworld where bandits and other smugglers would make their last stand fighting off the republic.

On world event | The Republic get a transmission from a farmer, his town was invaded by bandits. The Republic goes to investigate and find out that it was a trap! After sending scouts an assassin droid takes them out, with the goal of attracting RC's attention. With the right luck they manage to kidnap one, trying to get as much info as possible.
Large Scale Event | Bounty hunters attack! Bounty hunters are sent to Anaxes, with the sole goal of eliminating a Navy officer (EC so no PK necessary) RC intercept the comms and the Republic scrambles to protect the officer. The bounty hunters then move into the base to shut off the generator. After a successful assassination (or unsuccessful) They retreat to Tatooine, hoping to lose the heat. The Republic chases after them, but they are too late! They send in Jedi hoping to get information out of the locals, and shopkeepers, but they are paid to keep their mouths shut. After some mind tricks they find out where the bounty hunters went. CG Move into arrest them but are cut off from the main force. The Republic mobilizes and successfully rescues them, and continues into the hideout and captures the bounty hunters. One interrogated the contractor is on the planet with them, making their escape! They try to escape (Either leaving, or being captured) If they leave, the Republic puts a bounty out on them and will find them another day...
PassiveRP Event | The Republic gets a transmission from the caves that a CIS researcher has been meddling with the cave itself. The Republic sends out a patrol and successfully arrests/eliminates the researcher with no issues. However once they leave, they have to return to the medbay. The Republic has become ill, with Brown Lung. There is a mandated quarantine while medics work hard to treat the soldiers affected, all non-infected soldiers will stay in their bunks until it is cleared.
Large Scale Event 2 | The republic gets word of a dangerous cult forming in the underworld of coruscant , they mobilize and once there; the Republic investigates. The cult, now known as (The Chaos) are in the middle of an offering to their god! 104th/ARC/RC are sent in to stop them ASAP. (If Successful) They arrest the cult, and move them to interrogate, while the rest of the Republic secure the city of anarchy. The cult has started a huge uprising in the civilians, for their goal was to cause riots in the streets and eventually eradicate the Republic. Once quelled the Republic head back home to Anaxes. (If Unsuccessful) The Republic quickly eliminates the cult as they clearly have no intention of being diplomatic. Another sect of the cult hear about this and mobilize to attack the Republic in guerilla warfare, trying their best to eradicate them. Once the Republic has won the battle, they go to the Cult's main base and eliminate all of them. They then head home as the issue was dealt with.
Mini Event | The Republic get a transmission from a CIS carrier. They then are attacked by waves of droids! They then get attacked by MTT's AAT's and multiple Vulture Droids. The Republic quickly goes to protect their base, but unknown to them Commando Droids were sent in to gather data from the NCC. They mistakenly broadcast onto open comms, letting the Republic know what their intentions are. Once the info is gathered they move to leave the base. Unfortunately for them their is only a few ways out, and the Republic is ready to eliminate them. Once successful, the attack was fruitless and The Republic is victorious.

Description: Pretty basic suggestion, but one I think would be interesting. When a Tali/US Has a weapon outside of the opposing base. (US with guns out within close proximity of the Tali base) are KOS. The proximity could be up to interpretation at the moment, being within render is obviously too large; within voice range is too small. (maybe setup a physical border with a rope tool?) Reasoning: This can make it easier for the defending base to prepare for a raid/prevent a raid. This can also add some interesting RP where the Taliban show up at the US base strapped with weapons, but after being spotted are subject to a search, and vise versa. The readdition of the /roll command can make this easily done. Additional Information: Add a rule that within the border, you cannot pull out a weapon unless raid is called, or you are not seen pulling it out. Basically you have to be ready to go when you walk in that border.
