Obviously, you can use other weapons to defend your base. The Dragonlore just is the best weapon to defend... and attack... and PVP with. It's not just "cool to have," it's broken. And again, your response on the other suggestion seems that the person had the presumption that you could only get it through donating, which, as I've said, is not true. Nerfing it would definitely be fair; nerfs happen in video games all the time, and it's not "unfair" to the people who are using the overpowered thing, it's making it fair for everyone who doesn't regularly have/use the overpowered thing. Garnet has shown that he's not unwilling to modify donator weapons before (the Machete is a great example), so I don't think people would be too upset. And honestly, if they're upset that their overpowered gun got nerfed so now it's actually fair to play against without using the Dragonlore itself, tough beans.

You both misinterpreted what I was going for in the suggestion. I know the dragonlore is accessible through credits. It could be the most accessible gun on Garnet for all I care and I'd still have a problem with it. My issue is that the gun is overpowered, and completely overshadows any and all other guns, leading to an essential monopoly on the PVP meta. These are the other responses I expected, the Dragonlore users who don't want the weapon nerfed. While I can obviously understand you guys not wanting your overpowered gun to be nerfed, it should be for the sake of fairness, which is why in my suggestion I didn't take the nuclear option and say "REMOVE THE DRAGONLORE" or "MAKE IT DEAL 5 DAMAGE." Your gun will still be good if the suggestions take place, just not overpowered and meta-warping.

Description: Nerf the Dragonlore from DarkRP. A nerf would consist of lowered accuracy while not scoped in, decreased fire rate, or decreased aimspeed while the Dragonlore is equipped, a combination of these, or other suggestions. Reasoning: The dragonlore is singlehandedly the most overpowered and PVP-meta warping weapon currently on DarkRP right now. Astronomical Damage (70~ to body, 300 to chest, 600 to head), Unparalleled Accuracy (First Shot is legit laser accurate, continued fire tends to have a fire degree of any where from 1-7° from crosshair as well as High Capacity (10 Rounds) and Decent Fire Rate (~54 RPM) for a "Sniper." No other gun comes close to how strong the Dragonlore is, no other gun imitates what it does, and it is, without a doubt, the strongest gun on Garnet DarkRP. Defending with it is a no brainer, just use a peek, shoot once, then wait however long you feel like, or switch peeks. Trying to get into a Dragonlore Player's base, even with max VIP HP & Armor, is nigh-impossible unless you have a Dragonlore yourself. Speaking of being on the Offense side of a raid with a Dragonlore, it's just as overpowered as defending with them. A simple flick from cracking a keypad into someone opening their peek to shoot you does massive amounts of damage, as I'm sure anyone who's ever been hit with a Dragonlore knows. Non-Base-Raiding PVP is probably the area that the Dragonlore performs "worst" at, but it is still far and away the best choice of weapon for a scenario. With the accuracy, fire rate, and damage, all it takes is 1-3 shots to kill someone. While I originally thought all it needed was a nerf to the damage, I felt that that wouldn't work out. The Dragonlore is obviously intended to be a strong, hard-hitting sniper rifle. However, with all of its current benefits, it is clearly overpowered and needs some way to hit it. My suggested changes brought into account the fact that it is a sniper rifle, and thus intended to be used from a distance and with single, precise shots, not running & leaping through the air and hip firing with it. As it stands, the current biggest Issue of the Dragonlore is that it is completely polarizing in the combat. No Gun does what the Dragonlore does better, and no gun beats it in any practical regards. I honestly originally thought about making a suggestion to remove it entirely, however I feel that that is too extreme, and also would be a pain in the ass, credit-side. Thus, I feel nerfs would benefit both the current meta and the server more. I will be responding to meaningful posts on this thread, and look forward to people's thoughts on this. Thank you, - WohMi Additional Information: [will add if it comes up]

Neutral for now, but this is not getting my hopes up.

you reacted "dumb" on my latest post. I have been crying my eyes out for an HOUR now. How could you?

+1 I'm not usually a fan of younger admins due to past experiences and a general hatred for anyone under the age of 15, but these paragraphs are pretty interesting. The only thing that irks me... When were you L. Mod?

So, all of two times? With the first person who reported me being banned for "Homophobia" and RDMing me in a sit? If you look at your OWN screenshot, this was not a short timespan of arrests. this was between 12:23 and 12:45. So, 22 minutes. It wasn't. The mayor at the time had the law up when I got on the server, and it was those laws up until a little after you pulled me into the sit. This is not how RDA reports work. The reporter has to prove that they were not breaking a law at the time. If I had to take a screenshot every time I arrested someone, I would never, ever play PD. So if Qualcon wasn't involved in this sit, then why is he providing a video of the sit that he wasn't in?
-
Cool. There was a law that said weapons and raidtools are AOS. Unless you have actual proof of me RDAing, this is a false ban. I will be saving that screenshot, btw. Look at them numbers! I'm such a good cop. 1. It wasn't my sit, I was helping Qualcon with one of his sits. You were the one who banned me, and I did not see this Qualcon person anywhere during the sit. 2. You had no reason to go into his base, you arrested him for having a gun out and it had no proof along with it about printers and such inside his base but you went in anyway I wasn't in his base, and he did have a gun out. You're supposed to ask for proof from the reporter, not the reported. I didn't even warrant him for printers. I wanted him for having a gun out. 3. You were saying 15 people in a short time span all had their guns out just sitting in the street. Log screenshot attached. Yea. They did. Weapons/Raidtools = AOS get people ALL the time.

I didn't break any rules, the only thing that Nick had to go on was a Level 7 saying he had his Physgun out. Nick definitely needs a retraining if he's taking bans without any evidence like this.

-1 Just no. Paragraphs lacking, didn't fill out entire app, somehow got wrong SteamID, didn't read staff rules. I don't think any other posts are really needed, this guy's obviously getting denied. Pack it in, Tyler. Learn from this mistake.

Would it be possible to implement the old duel system?
-
I'm not sure this duel system is very well received. I liked the old system due to the simplicity of it, but the new duel system is honestly a bit convoluted, and I have yet to see a single duel happen with this new system. I would honestly prefer if the older, simpler duel system came back, but I am interested in the input of other players too.

Question on Rules - Regarding Streaming Garnet & Rule Against Advertisement
WohMi replied to WohMi's topic in Administration
Thank you Proggy, very cool! -
DARKRP WITH CARS!!!

An interesting question came up today while I was playing, and I thought that here would be the most appropriate section to ask. I got knowledge of someone streaming GarnetGaming on Twitch, and thought it would be cool to post about it in ooc, however, I was worried that that might be deemed as "advertising." I filed a report on myself to ask a staff member whether this would be allowed, and I got Chikn N Burg. He was equally as unsure as I was about the legality of posting Streamers who are streaming GarnetGaming. So, I thought the best place to ask would just be here, and to get a clear answer. Thank you, Wohmi.

this clip is perfect, it shows how little you're being "interrupted"

Who are you reporting? [Staff]: Skill ArtYour in-game name: WohMiYour SteamID (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:1:212219498In-game name of reportee: Skill ArtSteamID of reportee (https://steamid.io/): STEAM_0:0:139472610Date & Time of incident: ~7:00 PM-ishTimezone: CST (UTC - 6)What happened? (include any proof): Poked reportee with knife, reportee claimed that I was somehow interrupting a sit. The sit in question was the Admin telling someone to delete a prop in a base. There's no way that the admin being poked would interrupt the sit in any way, and yet said admin claimed that it was interrupting. I find it quite senseless that an admin would punish someone for something that had, in no way, any disruption or interruption to the topic of the sit at hand.

Thank God, this was ruining my immersion.

This is less of a "Guide and Tutorial," more as a request for a Guide and Tutorial. Where in the hell do the Artifacts spawn on the map? I've actively looked for them for about 20 minutes, and with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.
