Before this gets insta-denied for appealing again, I was informed by Garnet to appeal on my departure post (not able to show proof because I’m forum banned). It has been close to a month since I’ve been gone. Once again, I’m gonna get people saying stuff like “appeals aren’t meant for apologies.” However, with my time one the server, it forged who I actually am. Obviously, I made a major mistake in December. I didn’t know what was going to happen in the future. It was a mistake I regretted deepest down. On my time on the server, I accomplished some things that I never thought I would. I became staff, led a faction, and best of all, made new friends. I know the argument that is made against me, I know my supporters, and I know who doesn’t support me. The most killing argument against me is “You were staff and you didn’t tell anybody.” Here is my response to this. After I was banned, I was informed by someone saying “If you told Jake about what happened, you wouldn't be banned, rather just removed from staff, or set to T. Mod.” Alright, so here is my response to this one. During February, there were many cheat accusations against me. They were all false at this time. During this, Jake had a little look through my computer at anything he could find--with a desperate-to-find something tone. It was almost sarcastic when he was talking, asking me to search in my windows bar “Odium, meth, SMEG, citizen, etc.” Purposely looking for something to get me banned. At that time, if I had anything on my computer, there is no chance the punishment would’ve been the same. Many times people (in general) would say something like “If you confessed to doing this, you wouldn’t be in trouble at all” after the event happened. However, speaking from experience, this is not always the case. What someone wants the punishment to be at the time is what it is going to be either way. It can’t go both ways. The other argument against me was ruining the game for other community members. You could say I did, which I am owning up to. I deeply apologize for ruining the game for 10 minutes on 1 raid against Kermat and Stork. Throughout my time on the server, I have greatly changed. I know it was brought up by Acer and Randy, however, I wanted to make this known. What you saw from me in December is nothing you could’ve imagined from me now. Nobody knew who I was when I joined on my alt, so I worked my way up with people respecting me for who I was. Although toggling isn’t something I could’ve escaped the burden of, nobody knew of it and was fine with me being around either way. Everybody does things they regret in their past, and sometimes it is inevitable. Sometimes, they do things because they are not aware of where it will take them. I know I lied about who I was, but I ended up bringing happiness to other people and that is a feeling I won’t forget. I’ve focused on all the “bad’s” I’ve caused, so let me now move on to the “goods” that I accomplished. First off, I became a (i would say) reliable staff member. I worked hard in that position, making sure everybody had a good experience when they played on the server. I worked hard for other people, and ended up getting MVP my first month staffing and first month in general on the server. Next up, I led GRU with 1 month on the server. Although this can be argued sometimes, I believe that I did a fairly good job for what state GRU was in. I helped other players out within the faction and was all-around a friendly guy to be around (imo). Finally, I feel like I was helpful around the community and was fun to be around/with. I know that in the time I was playing on the server, I was able to make a bunch of new friends that I play other games with now. So far, I have covered everything bad I have done on the server, and pretty much everything good for the community. Instead of going straight to the executive's opinions, I want to hear directly from the community of what they think of me, knowing who I actually am and what I have actually done. I believe with this information, it can go on to see how others would either want to see me back or not see me back. I will have Acer keep me posted on your guy’s responses to this because I am unable to see the forums. I will have Acer reply with my exact words to every comment you guys put on this thread. Clearly there is a large amount of discrepancy between what happens on one person's screen and what happens on the other, in the case of the clip of you and me in shipment, it seemed like you landed and killed me almost instantly, but on your screen it took a couple seconds. Garry's Mod is weird, I support you now.

Your playstyle and how you play in war doesn't matter, some of these clips are literally just aimbot and walls. I hate to break it to you, but your recent wars really do not matter, it's very clear that you have cheats in these clips.

+1 Now, there will be a large amount of bias from me, considering I am his friend, but I beg everybody to look at it objectively, it just seems stupid to me. There was a guy who cheated, he got on an alt, started to enjoy the server, and changed. After changing, he became staff, a faction leader, and an officer in another faction. He became friends with pretty much everybody he came into contact with, and was extremely enjoyable to be around. Clearly showing change, and clearly showing that he regretted his actions, he was banned again, as a result of his stupid actions 4 months ago. I don't know man, it really is a sad tale. I believe that the current Yurri is not nearly the same as the one that cheated, and I believe he should be given a "second chance", or maybe what could be considered a first chance, if you simply void the person that he is no longer (the one that cheated). Look at the current Yurri from the day he ban evaded to the current day. That person is a role model within the community, and somebody that can be respected and even looked up to. Look at the person before he ban evaded, a scummy cheater, who was in it to ruin people's time. Now you tell me, are they the same person?

How do you plan on benefiting our server? [minimum 2 paragraphs] As of late, I've been getting rather bored of the core gameplay in the server. This isn't to say that I'm not going to still play it and enjoy it, but I want something else to do whilst also benefitting the community. I genuinely just want to make my time within the server something of use, rather than just sweating in war every day and giving absolutely nothing back to the server in return. Personally, I wouldn't consider myself an extremely professional person at all times, but I definitely understand when to be professional and mature, and I believe I could do a great job at it being staff. I believe that I have shown that I have the ability to be mature when it is called for by the way I handle myself in game, and the way I handle myself in situations that call for it. Most of the time, I'm very laid back, I don't really take a ton of things super serious, but like I said, I understand that staff is something you need to be serious about. There's a ton of things that I want to do to help the server, and the best way to start out is as a Trial Moderator, that way I can show how mature I can be. I think that I am in a good spot to become a Trial Moderator. The key word being Trial. I think that I can prove myself to everybody with this opportunity. Yeah I don't really know where the "OOC bullshit" comes from, I don't even talk in OOC. The only time I ever touch OOC is when somebody directly talks to me, and for the "tryout minge" stuff that was when I wasn't actually playing the server consistently, I've put in 350+ hours into the server in the past month and 1/2, all that shit was before I was playing seriously. Not here to argue, but the only time I'm toxic is in teamspeak, and I completely own up to that, and it's something I need to change. It's something I plan on working my best at changing.

How do you plan on benefiting our server? [minimum 2 paragraphs] I plan on benefitting the server by putting in as much time as possible into resolving issues that arise within the server. As a Trial Moderator, I figure that there probably isn't much that I can benefit server-wide, but that will very easily become a large part of my goal once I progress through the ranks. I aim to be as non-biased as possible when it comes to dealing with sits, and I think that I can do a great job when it comes to putting time into staff. I want to take as many sits as possible, and make sure that I contribute more than enough to the server at any given time. I would rather put time into staff than put time into doing nothing during peace time, and I think that I can do more than enough to help out. Staffing within servers is something that I have enjoyed throughout my time in Garry's Mod, and I'm surprised it's taken me this long to apply on this server.
