  1. +1 Adric is nice, and although I haven't known him long, has always been chill and pretty active. Think he'd be a great fit for the team.
  2. It's called Swag, look it up
  3. Description: Previously it was unknown that the prestige capacity was 10. Seeing Garnet walk around as prestige 100 (and now 101) would lead most to believe that 10 is not the capacity. Currently due to the capacity I have lost (another) 10mill trying to prestige: It will remove the money upon hitting agree and then inform you that you cannot prestige beyond 10. Reasoning: [how would this benefit our server?] This would remove the cap on level progression and allow for the money sink that prestiging should be to not have a capacity of 10. Additional Information:
  4. +1 Titan is smart, fair, and previously a great staff member so I have zero doubts he will be again.
  5. +1: old staff, high playcount, and I know sofaa to be very chill and nontoxic which I believe to be key attributes for staff. I think you might want to reword this. You've been staff twice, you surely know all the rules by now but I think you may have misworded this on accident?
  6. Description: Treat Bartender similarly to the Drug dealer. He would have his normal stock to sell from, but instead of only being able to sell 1 beer and 1 water (and 1 lean, etc...) at a time he would be able to buy any amount like any other classes. Currently, if you drop a beer and someone runs off with it, you're unable to buy another one and must swap classes. There's also no rule stating that someone who bought a beer must drink it right away, so since that isn't stealing there's nothing preventing someone from buying your items and running it to their base to hold onto. The Drug Dealer can buy shipments of every drug in a crate. I think it would make sense for a bartender to do so as well, as this would allow to have "beer on tap" or to buy in bulk to save operating costs. Reasoning: More bars would be run and as a result it would enrich one of (in my personal opinion) the funnest roleplays in the server: Operating and/or drinking/chilling in a bar. This change would save people time, money, and prevent griefing the bartender. Lastly, there is currently no way to crack open a six pack of beers or buy a round for the whole bar without having to give someone a beer, watch them drink it, then move onto the next person. Additional Information: Lean spawns inside of the dumpsters for hobos, leading them to be able to produce more lean than the actual class that has traditionally sold such an item. If it was an issue of too many entities on the map, it shouldn't be included in the dumpster.
  7. Understandable, have a nice day. But seriously, grats everyone
  8. Anyone cop some good shit during the Summer Sale? Fill me in I have ran out of things that look good to me but I know there's some gems out there...

  9. I'm going to say -1 for the following reasons: The XP multiplier exists, yes. But this doesn't begin to actually provide a meaningful benefit for new players until they're on for multiple hours at a time. For someone who can base with 2 or more printers for 6-12 hours at a time, yes the multiplier will make it much easier to gain levels, but for a new player that multiplier just barely makes the reworked deliveryman feasible. I know people with over a hundred hours that aren't at Mayor level yet and that's not uncommon because these are people playing the Roleplaying Server by Roleplaying and not by grinding. This is a point that Shin brought up, along with the fact that a new player is almost never able to consistently farm a printer by themselves as they don't know the capabilities of raiders, don't have ADV Dupe or the building experience required to make a base, strong guns, good perks, trustworthy friends to party with, I could go on and on. I'm curious what the playtime of this user is. It's very feasible, before the XP Multiplier update, to get to level 40 in just 3 days (ask me how I know) even with a small amount of printers. Just AFKing for ~6hrs a day for 3 days gets you level 10+ just from the AFK experience you get, and if you do ANY job for a few hours each of those 3 days level 40 is achievable in no time. Circling back to my first point on this; that player would need to have been connected for over 12 hours to even get the 2x multiplier. Anyone who grinds for 12 hours is going to get to whatever level they want, assuming raiders etc. don't get in their way. The only thing I might agree with on this is bumping cop from 9 to 10-12; a minor bump that requires an extra little bit of effort (and therefore learning a bit more of the rules along the way) before getting the class that can arrest and gets a free gun. But even then I think level 9 isn't too low. I could go on and on honestly but I think I explained myself well enough...
  10. +1 Robbing the bank sounds like a solid suggestion, beings that it exists. I can't think of a better class to do it than the Bank Robber class.
  11. +1 based with him and known him a while (not as long as some of you) he's old staff and has TONS of experience. Easy accept imo
  12. I've never had a problem with him. However I've known this community to pick on younger kids in the past and usually use the rules against them, knowing that it's hard for someone of that age to memorize and have the ability to follow all of them at all times. Doesn't mean he doesn't deserve his bans; but I think it's pretty obvious he's being picked on for his age. I hope he decides to come back and try to learn from his mistakes. He shouldn't be getting banned for the same things multiple times in a row however, that shows an unwillingness to learn or an inability to understand the rule itself.
  13. Hi all, I was playing around in Singleplayer and noticed that the server is missing out on what I think is a pretty awesome materials pack: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=381633730 This pack adds Emerald, Amber, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Garnet, Sapphire, Gold, and Platinum. If it was forced in the addon pack at server launch (unlike the current Gold texture on the server) then it would make event-specific areas really shine (literally) and lead to some pretty cool art, or "find the item" events as it's a little easier to spot and can't be mistaken for anything else. I can think of one specific instance this would be really cool: Here's the picture used in the addon pack for a wider example:
  14. Neutral I think this could be good if the heal rate was reduced to Medic healrate. Currently, as it is, 125HP is only slightly more threatening in a raid in the first place than 100 (and 150 isn't really that much different, maybe 1 more AK bullet?) However, I think we can all agree that it's rare the raiding team is able to pose much of a threat unless they're stacked with the max amount or using rockets. Allowing them to get up to 125HP with just CCs makes the raid last just that much longer. The reason this isn't a flat +1 for me is this: Not like it would matter much for the RP element, but I could see 3-4 people in a raid just coming in, taking damage, healing, and repeating to make a raid last 10 minutes. Which sounds more annoying than threatening, making me feel like this change wouldn't really provide enough of an impact either way except causing more people to consider buying the medkit. Realistically, 100-150HP are the same thing to a high-level player in a raid scenario so this change would really only impact players who can't afford guns that are able to deal 150+ damage in one shot.
  15. +1 I was going to say Neutral due to the fact Hitmen shouldn't need to worry about cracking into bases (and this would potentially allow for people to use it for the wrong reasons) but beings that this is a Prestige 2 class I think anyone who has gotten to that level should know when you're allowed to raid. Prestige classes should at least have the capabilities of the base-level VIP classes.

-1 I've played servers with ore deposits, crafting, etc. and although it might be fun on those servers I don't think it would fit in at all on this server.
  17. (pictured: left, Dr. Drip Lord |right, grunt medic McPrivate) Yes but the Doctor has at least 1.5x the swag and appears to be more educated. The medic model is the civilian medic bot you spawn in sandbox when you are tryna make combine/zombie takeover scenarios but you need to make like 20 of them because they get obliterated so quickly, unless you give them all annabelles or something
  18. I've seen people base here and not only is the ladder always exploited in the way Papiraqi described but it's gotta be the most prone to explosives of virtually any base due to the fact it's ridiculously small.
  19. HOLY SHIT YES! Climb Swep hitman looks so dope, cannot wait to use it
  20. Appreciate the hard work by all! Glad unbox is back and we get to keep our stashes
  21. Doritos doritos doritos doritos doritos doritos doritos Glad to see you back
  22. +1 for days. I hear everyone who has a lot of donator items complain about this, assuming it's possible to implement this would be a huge QOL update.

  24. +1 to the Venom suggestion. I've heard it suggested before and I've wanted this myself for a while, it's not like I don't have VIP but once I found out it doesn't have VIP raiding tools I stopped using it. Paying 10mill to prestige and grinding to level 100 and then AGAIN grinding to nearly level 100 should reward you with VIP raiding tools... plus, since only one person can use it at a time, I don't think that the impact would be bad. I don't think I've ever heard of someone prestiging and getting to Venom without VIP however, though it does provide a goal for those who can't donate or wouldn't rather just use the 10mill to get credits from someone to get VIP with. The printer suggestion that's been brought up, I think would be bad. I have prestiged enough times I could pump out 1mill an hour on my own if I got a printer for every prestige. Skill tree and prestige tokens sound neat to spec certain attributes, but I think giving prestiged players a hard advantage over everyone else defeats the point of it; prestiging is and always has been a cosmetic thing.
