The Garnut Popular Post Nutter 15,168 Posted February 3, 2021 The Garnut Popular Post Share Posted February 3, 2021 I apologize for the inconvenience, this is something that all the machines under GMCHosting's Anycast network are experiencing, a great gesture for customers payment thousands of dollars each a month for a "bulletproof" network... For a year now I've been looking for a fallover host to utilize or entirely migrate our network to, just based off of how frequently these issues occur, and they've even become a meme at this point, "Oh, did the host shit out again?". As a community we had always been gaslit to believe that our Teamspeak was constantly down because we "are being DDoS'd" yet upon switching to a much cheaper and less prestigious host, we have had 100% uptime. As of right now, there's no knowing when these connectivity issues will be resolved for players outside the US and US West Coast, however, the only ways for me to reach out to my host are via Steam and Discord. Which you can't say that I didn't try either Thank you so much for your patience everybody, some things that may work are utilizing a VPN, because that way you route around whichever node it is that is down (appears to be Chicago) 14 Link to comment
JackJJ 498
That's unfortunate. Hopefully we can find a better service soon to host the servers. Thanks for all the hard work Garnet! 1 1 Link to comment
