[FAQ] How to cancel recurring payments? Where do I find my transaction ID?

Transaction ID Location:

PayPal Account > Activities > Click on Transaction

Can't find the Transaction ID? Transaction too old?
Call/Contact PayPal, they have all Transaction IDs stored and have multiple ways to look up an ID.

Hello Garnet Gaming members,

Due to a great deal of my time being dedicated to correcting other people's mistakes and hastiness in buying recurring packages then later asking for them to be canceled, I decided to post a tutorial to refer the public to so some can learn how to cancel subscriptions on their own.

How do I cancel a recurring payment, subscription, or automatic billing agreement I have with Garnet Gaming?

Logged-in checkout:

Go to the PayPal website
Log in to your PayPal account.
Click Settings near the top of the page.
Click Payments.
Click Manage pre-approved payments.
Click Cancel or Cancel automatic billing and follow the instructions.

Guest checkout:

Call PayPal customer support or dial (402) 935-7733
Notify them of being a Guest user in need of recurring payments' cancellation
Provide PayPal with Credit Card number & other necessary information

Alternatively,

Call your bank
Request the cancellation of agreements for preauthorized charges by PayPal
Provide dates of prior transactions and time

Posts of the following nature will unfortunately be ignored and moved to Processed starting 4/08/2021

"Cancel my recurring package pls"

"I cannot cancel recurring, I checked out as Guest"

Our store portal notifies you in 3 different locations that you are paying for a recurring payment that has 30-day installments, this is a non-issue, and you are liable for the misuse of your own credit card.
