Sadly I erased my cache over the duration of working on this update, and as such, I had to re-create the post at 5AM with what I did remember from the update

There's alot of extra stuff that unfortunately won't be noted here, but I'm sure you'll come across the many fixes and new features in-game

 

In-Game Suggestions

To the motherfuckers refuse to use the forums

Simply utilize the command /suggest or /suggestions

A menu UI will pop up allowing you to write your suggestions to the server

This suggestion can be voted on by the server's population

Positively received suggestions will be accepted

 

PS

to avoid spam and/or troll suggestions, all suggestion requests must be approved and may be removed at any point by staff

 

 

 

Defusable Bombs

A use for EOD and Astromechanicals!

While still under progress and not very pretty, this new addition to our server should be warmly welcomed

During events, GMs may now place/give out C4 entities to event characters in order to be planted.

Planted C4s can have varying times (WIP) - locked to 10 minutes at this time

Shortly players will be able to utilize the console command - "cl_bombtimer" with the number of seconds until detonation. By default 600 (10 minutes)

EOD players have a 95% chance to defuse a bomb in 5 seconds, whereas non-certified players may set off the bomb at a 10% chance, or simply make its timer 25% closer to detonation for a failed attempt. The chance of success for a non-certified player is currently set at 33% (1:3 chance)

 

 

 

 

Shit that I remembered after losing the original thread

Cairo and Aux landing pads had their names swapped out (oops)

Jedi Assembly : Specialist was given a Knight Lightsaber

Fixed auto events once and for all, fully tested

 

 

Clan Varada Nerf

Please dedicate a moment to reading the message below before losing your shit in true Gmod player fashion

Our server is undoubtedly suffering from a lower population than what we had been used to, there are many factors, one of which is peak of school/college/work and midterms coming up. With that being said, it has been very unfortunate that Clan Varada which was supposed to be a very small-scale RP faction with little weaponry, ended up with a loadout longer than the bible.

Guys, please for the sake of the server, take a break from your cool little VIP class and join a base battalion to actually attract players to the server. Presently when you get on and see that 6 out of 20 active players online on Clan Varada, it really doesn't have much appeal to anybody but yourselves.

Wrist Blasters, Wrist Rocket, and Wrist Flames have been removed, if anybody is upset enough to throw a fit, please take your leave from the server. We need engaging players who interact with newbies, not dudes who sit there with a cool player model and 5000 primaries. Thanks
