Please keep in mind while reading this, I do not have the best memory nor am I able to remember much of what happened around the time I was banned. However, I am being 100% truthful and I will remain 100% respectable and reasonable no matter the outcome of my ban appeal. 

 

I also would like everyone to know that I miss this place. Garnet was a place I spent a lot of my high school years on and the amount of friendships and memories I created were immense. All that I ask for is a chance.

 

I have spoken with garnet in the past few months about his SWRP server and I am super happy to see the progress it has made. I was only able to hop on shortly to say hello to people and give small pointers and ideas to garnet for his server. Besides that, I have not spoken to many people from this community in a very long time. So, I hope that you all are doing well in life as of right now.

 

I don’t wish to waste all of your time by having this ban appeal be extremely long so I will keep it short as possible. Thank you for reading this regardless.

What happened? (include any proof):

 

Well, I remember being banned off of the forums due to the fact that I was attempting a power grab which should have just never occurred. At the time, I attempted to make a facade to show people that I wanted to do something for the community in hindsight but in reality I was just trying to save face as much as I could due to my reputation being heavily tarnished by my previous actions. 

 

Let’s break down why I was banned from my perspective. Back when I played SWRP as commander wolffe I had around 10-15 people in my battalion that were constantly on during the day and led to my battalion being one of the most active. Most of my memories of the past have become bleak but I do remember hopping on a different server a few times and being asked why I was doing what I did. I believed that I was being kept on a leash at the time because I was on a different server with friends. At the time, Jackal and Phantom were in charge of pretty much all operations within SWRP. I of course did not have a good track record with either members of the leadership team so when everything ended up going down I believed I was being witch hunted. But looking back I understand now why they did what they did. I was an unreliable source of leadership with high hopes of becoming a household name in the community in the best ways possible. 

 

After my departure from SWRP I took a step back and hopped on MRP in which I was banned for I believe having 1MD in my name (it had just been removed) to which I was quickly banned by dex as I was attempting to change it back to avoid punishment. Obviously, A poor move on my part. From there I just remember applying for forum moderator and deservedly getting clowned for what I had done in the past and how I was going about fixing my reputation. With this, I was swifty banned from the forums while my old MRP ban appeal was still up. 

 

Why should your ban be removed?:

 

I believe I should be unbanned for a few reasons. The first reason being that I have spent the past two years of my life maturing and bettering myself as a whole. I still consistently play GMOD and have well over 8,000 total collective within RP servers. I have upheld a handful of commander + positions on other servers which gave me the experience I need to become a well rounded leader and a better person as a whole. I understand my wrong doings on the server and this community. I lied and made excuses to ensure the best possibilities for myself in the long run within this community. I understand that my apologies will not make things right due to the fact that I have been absent for the past two years. However, I have always kept this community in my head because of how important it was to me growing up which is insane to fathom. I still remember being so excited to come home after school and spend the day vibing with people in the community on a daily basis. 

 

My other reason for wanting to be unbanned is because I have no way of contacting really any of my old friends from GMOD. There are so many people in this community that I have not spoken to in actual years and I would do so much to have the opportunity to say hello and re-unite with those that I used to hang out with everyday in MARSOC, PDSS and Vega. Those we’re easily some of the best times I have ever had in gaming. I understand that ban appeals aren’t meant to be sob stories, However I could say it a million times backwards how much I miss being on the server.

 

However you choose to view this ban appeal all that I ask is that you read this with an open mind. I spent a long time pondering on whether this would be a good idea or not but after a long discussion with myself I knew I had to do this. One last chance. Is all that I ask.

Well aware this will likely be an unpopular opinion but oh well. In the yearish I was running MRP and several months before where I was working on Omega with garnet I was quite public in my opinion that you should remain banned. Over the first few months where you were still trying to get unbanned, that was not a long enough period of time for somebody to actually change. Now however, it's been well over two years which I think is ample time for somebody to change, and the fact you are coming back asking for another chance at the very least shows some sort of dedication. I personally am not against you being unbanned at all as the way I see it works out like this; what is the worst that could happen? If you turn into a toxic shitter you can just be re-banned, if you start being power hungry you can either be rank locked or re-banned, if you even look like you are going to drag people away from GG you can be re-banned. Potentially we stand to gain somebody who could be dedicated & active while hopefully being a good role model for newer players in base factions. As I said though, you can and will be very easily banned once more if you turn out to be negative or a burden on the server.

Jake summed it up very well. From the MRP side of things, you'll be unbanned. As for the forums, TS, etc. I'll leave that up to Garnet/Proggy.

Locking because the people that will make the decisions can reply anyways.
