What happened? (include any proof): I put a very edgy castle up that had the text THE COUNTRY OF NIGER CASTLE, and a cross symbol next to it that looked very similar to an offensive symbol, but it wasn't.
Why should your ban be removed?: I am not going to beat around the bush, the building that I put up was very edgy, but there was nothing directly racist on it, and I have seen staff members that don't have a problem with it, and I think to be immediately banned without a warning is a little silly.

To say that "the building that I put up was very edgy, but there was nothing directly racist on it" while also acknowledging the sign you had put up, I feel is a bit contradictory. You have far more than enough playtime to know what is and is not allowed on the server. Putting up what you had up anywhere on the map, let alone the fact it was right in front of spawn, represents the server in a very bad light. There are plenty of DarkRp servers on Gmod that couldn't care less about racism and being "edgy" but Garnet is not that server. Again that's something I feel you don't need to be told being as you've been around the server long enough.

@StraightWhiteChristianMale I'm going to emphasise the 1st rule listed on the server, which is to "use common sense".

By your own understanding, the text screen and sign you made were "edgy". While not being directly racist, you understood this and continued to display something that you knew the player base would only interpret in the context you had strived to achieve, going so far as to ensure the colour scheme matched the Nazi symbol, just to avoid any confusion. Your intentions were undoubtably clear as to the meaning behind your display.

After speaking with management, I'm also aware that this isn't the first occasion that you've been asked to remove these displays by multiple staff members, you're aware that this isn't tolerated on the server.

Your ban will remain.
