What happened? (I was watching over printers for a friend at the crackhouse over right of spawn area, I had said in OOC that someone should try and raid me, it was a friends old base dupe and I was eager to try it out, WohMi showed up shortly after, presumably getting ready to raid me, but it turned out he seemed to have brought over an admin or mod to complain about a "no collide" inside my base that was "visible" from the outside, this said no collide that he brought the admin/mod over for turned out to not even be there, which is not a big deal, later it regrettably turned out that there was an actual present no collide in my base that I was genuinely unaware of and a ramp leading up to my base that you had to jump up to, "which apparently is fail" which I understand completely and had no prior knowledge of since I never base in anything like this base dupe I had, shortly after that initial encounter, I was outside my base and he started a raid on me, I was easily 30 something feet from my base, and he shot me. I was still in spawn 20 seconds or so afterwards when I noticed him headed toward my general area, away from my base, I had assumed he was getting ready to /advert raid (over) and made my way back to my base, that was a mistake because he came back a few moments later and killed me. This was the first offence of (nlr) on my part which WohMi explains in the clip that this whole report is all about. I had promised my friend I would protect the printers, I screwed up and was an idiot because I proceeded to walk out of spawn and shoot him while he was in my first fading door with my dlore from far away, I completely admit I was in the wrong on that part, he clipped this encounter and uploaded it to streamable, but the one problem with that clip being that he used his admin logs while he was not inside of a sit, I have been told by several mods in the last hour that using logs while not inside of an active sit or for "personal gain" so to speak is admin abuse, here is the proof of said clip, which was shortly made private after the report but the original tab kept open, as shown in my clip,   "https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1131366033756786689/1131378816594481322/8mb.video-5So-e6FOh7oP.mp4" copy and paste this link into a fresh tab, I don't know how to upload it any other way, if this link does not work, please let me know, I got banned for NITRP, which is understandable, the only slightly tilting part is that the nocollide that made that 2 offences (NLR & RDM) into 3 (NITRP) (NLR, RDM, & FAILBASE) was on a quickdoor that I never really used at the bottom of the base, I doubt heavily this alone will get me unbanned, and this is not an unban appeal or request but if there is any way it can be taken into consideration that it was an older base dupe as well as the fact that the base dupe's quick door in question with no collide inside it for FAILBASE which was what turned my ban into NITRP, you could hardly even see the no collide on it and I had payed no attention to it, for a possible unban, that would be greatly appreciated and I am very sorry, I thank you for your time and I hope I have explained this as well as I can, I will answer any further inquiries or questions if anything is unclear within my report.)

The specific rule I believe Aero is mentioning when they say

The "in case of emergency" part is somewhat vague. I have had situations in the past where I have been the victim of rule-breaking and no other active staff members were on to take my sit, thus resulting in logs being reset and no evidence to prove anything, thus resulting in the incidents going unpunished. 

 

During the time that I checked logs, I was (or heavily appeared to be) the only active staff taking sits, and I was not recording before the raid started.  I was honestly pretty tilted at the time that you NLR'd twice, so I wanted to make sure I had evidence.

I feel that in this scenario my use of screen-recording logs was not in violation of the rule and was indeed an "emergency" scenario necessitating the use of logs due no other staff being currently active and the high chance of logs being reset soon.

WohMi explains how there were no staff on at the time that were active and present, even though in the clip provided, Fat Good BOI was speaking in staff chat and showing signs of himself being present. I do not believe this called for an "emergency" as much as you just wanting to use logs to make sure I got banned whilst outside a sit for your own "satisfaction" , but I am not a mind reader so take it with a grain of salt, I partially believe this is to be the truth because of what was stated by you, in your own response "I was honestly pretty tilted at the time that you NLR'd twice, so I wanted to make sure I had evidence", especially given the fact that an admin was active or at the very least showing signs of himself being present, if not a few other staff being present in the server at the time.
You also state that logs had a chance of being reset soon which may have not been entirely true, I have no clue, and doesn't seem to be a very valid reason to use logs even if the rules on the matter may be "somewhat vague".
Promptly after the clip ended I was pulled by Fat Good BOI and proceeded to get banned for NITRP for my NLR, RDM, and FAILBASE which I all admit to even if FAILBASE was because of an old base dupe with a no collide on a fading door I was unaware of which I emphasize, but again, this is not a unban appeal. 
Regarding the clip, I may have been mistaken in saying it was privated but when I had pasted the original tabs link with the clip into a new tab it showed up as private as shown in my clip, but as I said, I may be wrong
I feel as though WohMi using logs/administrative commands whilst outside a sit was not an "emergency" and was uncalled for, again, I appreciate everyone's time.

@thenotsofriendlydragonsaid both in the sit and in staff chat (pre-recording) that he was high. I truly did not think that he would have taken sits at the time, and I did not see any other staff members online being "active."

If one looks at the time-frame shown in my clip as opposed to the time frame that you were banned at, we see a 10+ minute gap between your ban and the incident in question, making the ban not very "prompt." As for the logs being reset, from personal experience, the damage and kill logs can fill up/reset VERY fast, in much less than 10 minutes considering how active the server was, and I believe had I not recorded the logs, there was a high chance of the logs resetting.

 

Also, you admit in this section that "you have no clue" about how fast logs reset, so calling it "not a very valid reason" doesn't make logical sense if you yourself don't understand how logs work.

ACCEPTED

I have spoken with WohMi and read through the various claims and accusations within this report, and have determined that WohMi was not within his right to use staff commands (!logs) while engaging with you in the raid on your base.

WohMi will be spoken to by a member of Management about when to use and when not to use staff commands.
This situation may also be referenced during the Staff Promotion Meeting for the month of June.
