    Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]

First off I would like to send my apologies to the staff team and those I kind of upset when I vanished months ago and was on the team, I needed a clear mental reset from sinking so much time without a single break so instead of causing burnout I took some time to myself but made the mistake of not notifying the staff team or any friends within the server leading to some people being a bit upset from my absence. I understand the roles of a staff member and genuinely care deeply about this server and the players on it thus making it my objective as a staff member to keep the server clean of any rule breakers as well as keeping it a friendly and fun environment. I have done enough staffing to understand that you cannot let your feelings or emotions get a hold of you when dealing with a sit, you need to hear out both sides of the story and check any evidence before making judgement and excluding them from any RP scenario during a sit.

 

There is also times where some things can be handled in RP and some things cannot and that is when staff is needed and I am fully aware of those times. The GG StarWars RP staff team has always done an amazing job at keeping the server clean and fun for all players and since I enjoy this server quite a lot  I am applying to become apart of  something I love and to help out. I believe my age and real life expertise can help solve some situations and allows me to hear them out more clearly also my staffing experience could maybe also help the team. Playing on this server for so long without causing any issues and meeting so many new people it only makes sense I attempt to further help out. Looping back around to what I was stating above, if I ever need to take a break I will post a LOA and never cause a situation like that again where I disappeared. Overall why I should be chosen over other applicants is my experience as a staff member and dealing with a plethora of situations, and my dedication of time towards the server regardless it be early in the morning or late at night - i am offering my time to assist in making this a great experience for plenty of time down the road for all. While following the proper chain of command within staff, it will be my duty and priority to moderate the server and know there is times where that will need to take priority over RP, I know I have only been back for about 2-3 weeks or so but I have been planning on doing this since I have returned so I thought why not.

    Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? Probably a warn or 2 in the past few years on a random server, but nothing serious.
    Have you made any previous applications, If so when?: Yes, August 12th I believe in 2023.
    How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: Around 4-6+ hours mostly everyday.
    If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod? None currently, my main hobby is just spending time with my daughter and gaming.

I would -1 for the simple fact you just vanished without telling anyone, you can excuse it as much as you'd like it was still very avoidable, a simple message to any Staff member or someone in your battalion would've been decent enough, the hack thing on discord sounds like a poor excuse, that can be easily avoided by enabling 2FA and not clicking any suspicious link, besides discord wasn't the only way people tried contacting you including myself, we also tried contacting through Steam as well and that excuse of fear of getting hacked doesn't work here because there's no way you get hacked by a simple friend request there. Also people could've just commented on your profile no need to add them as friend. But the fact you rejected all friends request, changed your name and put everything private was just like a "fuck you guys" to us in that time.

 

I would just wait more for your application and see if you've really matured this time around, or you'll have another mental breakdown without telling anyone and go MIA again.
