Cryober 3
In-game name:91st MO-H SR LS LCPL 9995 "Cryo" | Jedi Padawan Lor'olki SongsteelAge:18SteamID (https://steamid.io/):76561199229690250 (SteamID 64)STEAM_0:0:634712261 (SteamID)Warns:0Timezone:Eastern Standard Time ZonePlaytime?:860:24:39Do you have access to TeamSpeak and a microphone?: [YES/NO]Yes.Do you have the ability to record Garry's Mod videos?:[YES/NO]Yes.Referral(s): [What administrator recommended you to apply?]None. (Daph said I should re-apply if that counts)Past experiences as a Game Master: [Optional]I was a game master for Icefuse Star Wars Clone Wars RP for a brief period, as well as on the staff team as a Senior Moderator. I have also played on Garnet Gaming's SWRP as a TGM and GM for a brief period of time (A few months). Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]Like described in my initial GM application I have had many experiences hosting events, planning events, I have participated in countless events, and have a pretty good understanding of the Star Wars Lore for the Clone Wars Era. I am open to doing research for well thought out and greatly planned events. I should also be chosen due to my availability and confirmed commitment to this server. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include detailsYes. Unfortunately I was banned on the Icefuse server around 6/11/23 through 7/11/23 for "ERP". However, I appealed the ban and the appeal was approved. (I had video evidence showing that I had not committed ERP.)How much time do you have to contribute to the role?:I have a great amount of time. I work Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST I only work 2 Saturdays / month, and I only work 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST on Saturdays. I have every Sunday off guaranteed.I will still need to manually select what days and when I do things such as off worlds and etc due to my personal life and the need to spend time with my Family, Friends, and Girlfriend. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?:The responsibilities of the GM(s) is to provide fun, engaging, lore friendly events and projects. They are to uphold a quota (wether personally or enforced by their position) and must maintain activity. They need to be able to create events and improvise when they are in the middle of them if things change or are not readily available. They should (but not MUST) be willing to pick up the slack when others fall behind and be a role model to the rest of their team as they are a valuable member & asset to the group. They should be readily available to host trainings for fun passive esq. activities during downtime and time when no major pre-planned events are happening. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team:The way I would contribute to the RP aspect of our Gamemaster team would be by ensuring my events give everyone enough to do (battalion wise possibly not individually) so that nobody feels left out and that they are actually useful, as in they're able to perform the actual duties of their designated groups. Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server:My single most "creative" idea for contributing to the roleplay environment on the Garnet Gaming SWRP server would be Faction Conflict and Alliances: Every few weeks, a major storyline could emerge involving key factions (such as the Jedi, the Sith, the Galactic Republic, and the Separatists). Players would have the opportunity to influence the course of the narrative through their actions. The outcomes of these events would have lasting effects on the server, certain planets could become war zones, trade routes might change, or new alliances could form, reflecting player decisions. EC & NPC responses based on faction actions, could help to create a living world. For example, if the Sith/CIS succeed, local systems might become more oppressive, while Jedi/GAR successes could lead to increased support from the galaxy’s populace. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation] Event Idea #1: Dark Moon Whilst on the return trip from a mission on a outer rim defense, the 34th Battlegroup's Venator would begin to pickup signals from an Emergency beacon, it's source being neither Republic nor CIS frequencies. The 34th would mount a rescue operation after tracing the signal back to a secondary moon for a watery planet. After touching down the 34th would gather themselves and send out multiple search parties, spanning a wide area of said moon. Clone's would begin to slowly become sick, one by one their knees and muscles giving out, claiming to lose vision and hear voices, the troops would march on, finding a small outpost where the signal for the wide-scale emergency beacon was most prominent. What will they find on the moon? Event Idea #2: Coruscant Assault The 34th Battlegroup would receive a distress signal and a call-back order, the City of Coruscant is being attacked by the CIS. A direct assault.... no, invasion on the Republic and more importantly the Senatorial building where an important meeting for a trade policy that would widely benefit 98% of the galaxy in terms of taxation and tariffs is taking place. A huge assault force of the CIS' Battle Droid(s) and various aerial/vehicular armored units fly overhead. The clone forces of the 34th battlegroup will be assigned to defending the Senatorial building over the course of a long drawn out battle, involving the VIP protection and escortation of Senators and important individuals to shelters and safe spaces. Event Idea #3: Bio Warfare On the remote planet of Balanor the 34th battlegroup have received intelligence that the CIS are in the process of developing some sort of Biohazardous weapon for mass destruction, the clone forces must converge on the planet and hunt down the facility of the CIS and locate their Lead Scientist, for questioning and detainment. If they fail to stop them before the Bioweapon is deployed, thousands if not hundreds of thousands could die. Event Idea #4: Super Super Droid The 34th Battlegroup has received plans from a undercover agent. These blueprints show the modeling and construction of a highly armored, and powerful 23 ft tall B2 Super Battledroid. The 34th battlegroup must travel to the secret bunker facility where development and mass scale construction of this new foe is ongoing. They will be tasked with invading the facility and detonating it from inside, leaving everything and all the research/developed droids as scrap. Failure to do so in a swift manner would result in the troopers having to face off against one-two maybe even 3 of these dangerously large Battledroids towards the end of said conflict. Event Idea #5: A world in need The 34th Battlegroup has been notified of a world falling to the hands of the CIS by force. The royal family (all but the king himself) have been left trapped and captured. The king of this planet "Lof'Hosin" pleads desparately with the Repuoblic to save not only his city, planet, and peoples, but also his beloved family. Little does he know his own son is the one who contacted the CIS and gave them the infiltration routes they'd need to dominate the city as quickly as they did. The 34th's forces will have to storm the city after clearing low orbit space, then fight their way into the castle where they'll have to find, free, and protect the royal family from attacking CIS forces. StarWarsRP Administration Team Clyderus 8 Posted September 23 StarWarsRP Administration Team Share Posted September 23 Using AI for your event ideas, arguably the most important part of the application, is not okay and I am tempted to deny your application immediately for it. AI is a popular tool for GMs to use when coming up with things such as a well written event briefing script, or to conceptualize an initial plan. However, its clear that you just copy and pasted these from whatever AI tool you chose and didn't change them or add any details whatsoever. If you want to be a GM you need to be able to show that you can come up with creative event ideas on your own. Also, On 9/21/2024 at 2:43 PM, Cryober said: They should (but not MUST) be willing to pick up the slack when others fall behind You are applying to join the GM team. As part of a team, you must be willing to pick up the slack when others within your team and division are falling behind. That's how being on a team works. You'll have 1 week to come up with your own event ideas and edit your application. If it's not done by then, the application will be denied and you can reapply again in 2 weeks. 1 Link to comment
