Why are you applying for this role?:

Firstly, I want to support this new division of DarkRP.  The server is a lot more fun when new things are happening, new divisions are being created and large amounts of money are on the line for difficult parkour courses or teamdeathmatch events.  As an S.Mod, I want to support the growth of the server and help Game Masters grow by maturely and accurately refereeing events--either by keeping score, teleporting players to checkpoints, supervising weapon restrictions of players, checking damage logs for perk usage etc.  I am extremely familiar with all DRP related commands (especially teleportation), have thousands of hours on the server and can be professional to all players participating in events.  My first (unofficial) referee experience occurred with Jarold, Apex, Source and others for eXg tryouts.  This is completely unrelated to Game Masters, but it is relevant to being an adequate referee. For these tryouts, a parkour arena was set up in a warehouse and I participated by supervising attendees and creating a waiting room for players wanting to join eXg gang, while also making a viewing area for current eXg members to oversee the potential candidates. 

A few other reasons why I believe I would be a good referee is that I can communicate quickly and effectively with other referees and supervisors in-game and on Teamspeak.  I am an extremely fast typer and can be reached via steam (on my phone) when events are scheduled or will take place.  Lastly, I have looked over the roster and saw that all referee positions are filled.  If you're not accepting new applications, just let me know or lock/deny this. I think Game Masters and Events in-general would be really fun to participate in and I want to help this new division grow.

If you could make one improvement to events, what would it be?:

Since this application is for a referee, I will not discuss event changes, additions or ideas. 

From my previous event experience, I believe it would be helpful for all official referees and supervisors to have a designated Teamspeak channel so they can communicate clearly and effectively.  Their could even be a channel for "attendees" and a sub-channel for "Game Master Staff".  Thus, referees can move quickly between channels or, if necessary, stay in the "event attendee channel."  This addition would improve the professionalism of Game Master Event staff and allow players and staff to be on the same page. 

I'm open to any feedback on this application including opinions and/or constructive criticism about my ability to be an effective Game Master Event referee.

I spoke to Jarold about this during our GM meeting. I don't think we reached a final verdict, but +1 anyways. You are mature and can enforce rules very well. Can't wait to see you in GM!
