Phantom 1,548
Howdy This is an updated thread to narrow down the options from the previous suggestion. After reviewing the thread, poll, and discussing certain changes with some players, I will leave at least 2 options to choose from to possibly add to a potential update thread for Garnet. As usual, leave your vote on the poll and comment on the thread if you have further suggestions. 1. Have a different pool of weapons in the arsenal depending on the country and keep the classes as they are. With this, the classes will not change, and SOC members would simply be able to go to a vendor called "Arsenal" and be able to purchase a weapon with in game money for 1 life. This would include 50 Armor, CW 2.0 Smoke Grenades, and possibly Flashbangs/Grenades. Some ARs, SMGs, Shotguns, and DMRs would be put into the Arsenal depending on the country and 1 shot snipers will not be purchasable. 2. Have a different pool of weapons in the arsenal depending on the country and change the SOC classes as such: 2 classes per SOC: 1 Specialization class, 1 Officer class to WL OR: 2 classes per SOC: 1 base class, 1 Officer class to WL, ALL SOC classes get the same standard issue weapon depending on country (AR-15 for US, AK-103 for RU, both with all attachments unlocked). Possibility of adding model changer in F4 menu for each SOC class to change your model depending on your SOC faction like we used to have on old csdesert SOC classes. Ex: SEAL would have a SEAL : Operator class and SEAL : Officer. Both classes would be able to cycle between any of the current SEAL models for both of these classes in the F4 menu in their job description and choose the model they wish to use. Code and screenshot for it provided by Conway: = DarkRP.createJob("", { color = , model = { "model/players/modelexample1", "model/players/modelexample2", "model/players/modelexample3" }, description = [[]], weapons = {}, command = "", max = , salary = , admin = , vote = , hasLicense = , candemote = Both of the above options will be able to access the arsenal and purchase a weapon of their choosing for a single life, just like the first option. Also, no matter which option, Entry factions would have access to limited attachments such as a sight, stock, and barrel and spawn in with a default AR-15/Ak47 with no attachments. They would also have access to 25 Armor. Edited May 30, 2019 by Phantom 1 Link to comment

To clarify, it means the factions as they are now would be reduced to 2 classes per faction. Not 2 classes for all SOC to use. Sorry for the confusion. Link to comment
.lua 234
Option 1, So each faction has its own value besides a player model and give more of an incentive to join and conjure with their playstyle depending on the weapons they are given. 1 Link to comment

Also, if this happens, would it be possible to add the current different models to be accessible to the 1 non officer class? So that you can switch models while on that class, for example like how RU recruit is, or as how I think you mentioned before how it used to be for SOC groups. Link to comment

That's what I would like to do which I forgot to add to the thread. 1 Link to comment

Viva 201
+1 For option 1 I've only ever played Entry factions my entire time on GG. And just having the Arsenal only available to SOC factions seems a bit unfair. In my opinion there should still be some appeal to play on the Entry factions, so maybe add a couple weapons/utilities for that. If I'm completely misunderstanding this, then let me know. This is just how I'm interpreting it. Link to comment
Landon 61
I really like option 1, I feel like it would add a bit of diversity to the server where people can choose their loadout, without sacrificing the weapons that the faction gets. Definitely a good suggestion. Link to comment

I think this would be sufficient, perhaps they would be able to keep attachments and be able to purchase an extended barrel and grenade launcher attachment with 1 40mm grenade? 1 Link to comment
