General Rules Quote G1. Do not share links in chat (unless directly affiliated with GarnetGaming/Steam)G2. Do not advertise or promote other servers/communities.G3. Do not post videos/images depicting any form of explicit content that is obscene, pornographic, NSFW/NSFL, etc.G4. Do not make threats/jokes to attempt any form of DDOS or DOX (self included).G5. Do not impersonate other users.G6. Any form of toxic behavior towards other players will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to: Harassment/bullying, racism, homophobia, etc.G7. Usage of third party tools/scripts/cheats, to idle your game or give yourself an advantage over players, is not allowed.G8. Do not abuse any exploits/loopholes. Server Rules Quote S1. Golden rule - Use common sense.S2. Do not loophole or alter any rules to your advantage.S3. Names must be readable, pronounceable, must not interfere with gameplay/callouts, and must comply with server rules. e.g., Names can’t be “你好”, “مرحبا”, “me”, “you”, “no one”, “the traitor”, etc. e.g., Names should not contain advertisements or links. S4. Do not excessively spam, or misuse of either voice or text chats. Mutes will be given if, and are not limited to: Spamming voice chat (via yelling, screaming, media, soundboards, etc). Spamming text chat. Any form of toxic behavior (via harassment/bullying, antagonizing players, racism, homophobia, etc). Openly calling out cheaters in the chat (Do @message to report in-game). Staff intervention to rule breaking, or ignoring staff requests to stop something. S5. You are allowed to kill or call a KOS on another player, if committing a “traitorous act”, with sufficient evidence. S6. Players may act in self-defense, regardless of the attacker’s role.S7. Don’t join into active gunfights unless absolutely certain you can identify a person is a traitor (with sufficient evidence): You can determine that the player wasn’t acting in self-defense, or had sufficient evidence. S8. You are allowed to claim use of found traitor weapons as an Innocent, as long as: You have clearly claimed in TEXT CHAT that you have the weapon. How the weapon was obtained may be questioned, and disputed if there is sufficient counter evidence. S9. Once the round reaches OVERTIME, you may KOS a player on suspicion if: Not adhering to user requests (e.g., Refusing to use the T tester). Not responding to a “live check” in text chat while in OT. The player is AFK. S10. Disrupting the game environment in any form is NOT allowed, some of which are classified as committing “traitorous acts” if caught doing so. This includes (but is not limited to): > RDM (Random Deathmatch): Killing a player without sufficient evidence, or on suspicion. > Traitor Baiting: Purposefully committing traitorous acts in order to bait other players into shooting/killing you. > False KOS (kill on sight): Calling a KOS on another player without sufficient evidence, with the intention of getting them killed. (The only exception being if a Traitor calls a KOS on an Innocent player). > Ghosting: Use of unconventional means, whether inside or outside of the game, to gain, give away, and/or use information regarding players roles or locations, or unconventional means outside of the in-game “alive” chat, to give away any information regarding the active round. e.g., Use of third party communication, such as (but not limited to): Discord, Teamspeak, private DMs etc. e.g., Retrieving information on traitors, from beyond the grave, other than the one who killed you. > Teaming: Depending on circumstances, players of opposing roles or similar roles working together by disregarding rules or player roles during the active round (excluding team based PR rounds). Situations include ( but are not limited to: ) An Innocent helping a Traitor kill fellow teammates Two Innocent players working together to kill as many players as possible w/o sufficient reasoning. Revealing roles of your fellow traitor buddies at any point in the round. > Delaying: Intentionally running out the timer without active participation e.g., camping as the last traitor. > Prop Minging: Prop flying or surfing (using props to enter areas of the map that are unreachable via normal means), prop blocking (using props to block players in areas), prop pushing (pushing players into areas/situations where they take damage), or RDMing with a prop. > Map Claims: Claiming an area of the map for yourself, and attempting to prevent entry of other players into said area. e.g., Claiming the tower, and KOS/killing anyone who enters. It is not KOSable unless the player is RDMing. > Intentional blocking/following: Intentionally following or blocking players into areas for an unreasonable amount of time. Must give 3 clear warnings in chat before KOS. > Camping in PR rounds: Don’t camp in Deathmatch styled PR rounds. KOS NOT OK Quote K1. Based solely on location, or proximity to location. e.g., KOSing someone for being near the tower when a player died. K2. Based on pointshop items, such as player models or misc items. e.g., KOSing someone with the — model, or wearing — hat. K3. Players who have knives.K4. Players looking at, or in the direction of Traitor traps when they are activated.K5. Players acting in valid self-defense. KOS OK Quote NK1. Shooting at or killing people (other than in valid self-defense).NK2. Intentionally failing to identify any unidentified bodies. e.g., running past, running away from, ignoring, etc. NK3. Hanging bodies. NK4. Intentionally hiding bodies containing evidence/DNA. NK5. Interfering with or ignoring Detective’s orders or duties. e.g., Refusing to test when the detective has asked you to, intentionally preventing the detective from retrieving DNA off a body, etc. NK6. Players attacking the Detective (unless doing so in self-defense). NK7. Making objective items inaccessible at any point (e.g Diamond/Gold blocks, etc). e.g., Hiding them in T.rooms, throwing them into unreachable areas of the map, etc. NK8. Players who cause damage with, or are using props to prop minge. NK9. Players with Traitor weapons that are NOT CLAIMED via TEXT chat. NK10. Players that are traitor baiting. NK11. Players throwing discombobs/incendiary grenades around or near other players. Class Rules Quote Detective Rules:D1. Only Detectives are allowed to give players orders. D2. Only Detectives are allowed to force test players (must be in text chat). Traitor Rules:T1. Work alongside your peers.T2. Do not kill your Traitor teammates.T3. Do not give away the names of fellow Traitor buddies.T4. Do not delay the round (IE.camping as the last Traitor).T5. Use of Traitor traps/explosives (without UI identifiers), that may potentially damage/kill fellow T buddies, must be announced via Traitor TEXT chat (U by default). Staff have final say in any decisions, and can increase punishments for repetitive rule breaking.
