Why should we choose you over other applicants?

You should choose me over other applicants for many reasons. One, I have the experience. I've been playing DarkRP since I was thirteen. At this point, I basically know all the rules. Give or take, a few servers vary in their set rules but most remain the same, NLR, RDM etc. Because of this experience, I know when an administrative descision made is a good one. For example, you wouldn't ban a first time offender of RDM, or even kick them. You would jail them, give them a good talk to make sure they understand the rule, and move on from there. If they become a repeat offender, additional action can be taken. If someone joins the server and immediately starts killing people, you can assume one of two things, they have never played DarkRP before, or the more likely option, they know exactly what they are doing and intend to kill as many people as possible. These are the people you need to be swift with.

My availability year round is good, and I'm a night owl. This means I play on the server mostly at night into the early morning hours, when the least staff are on. This is the time when most of the wonky stuff takes place. Allowing me to be staff would make nights at Garnet Gaming DarkRP a lot less like the wild west. You should pick me over other applicants because this is something I would really commit to. I wouldn't be the one to go on duty for a little bit, handle a few reports and then get off. I'm the kind of person that will be on as long as the reports are coming in. Sure I'm not a robot, I'll take breaks from duties to enjoy the game every now and then, but when it comes down to it I want to serve. I see people on the server have to take measures into their own hands when staff aren't available, and that isn't the way to go. I observe all the time that people have problems with rulebreakers. A propblocker makes everyones experience nasty. People who ignore NLR are aggravating. People who RDM don't understand they aren't playing HL2:Deathmatch. I want the players here to enjoy their experience just as I do, and I want them to do so without having to face the annoyaces of people who break the rules purposefully. Why? Because I care that people have fun. It's what they're here for.

Have you ever been banned or punished on any server? If so, Include details

As far as I can recall, I haven't been banned from any servers. I try to follow all the rules, and servers I join I typically like to stay on.

Have you made any previous applications, If so when?: None for this community.
How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I can easily contribute 3+ hours a day. So over 20 hours a week. Some days I play more than that.
If you have any, what hobbies or activities are you involved in outside of Garry's Mod?

I do a lot of things outside Garry's mod. One of my main hobbies is fishing. I spend hours walking through the woods to find the best spot, hopefully one where nobody has gone before. That's the real way to catch fish. You can't go to some public fishing hole and expect to pull a huge hog, maybe if you're lucky. I'm the proud owner of an old beat to crap Jeep. I take that thing four wheeling all the time to get her nice and filthy. The dirtier your Jeep the more respect you command. These are facts. I love all things recreational. Kayaking is one of my favorite river activities. I enjoy a good game of badminton or frisbee.

I'm also a full time college student currently on summer break. I have a little side job to help pay for my money pit vehicle.

Did you read the staff rules?: Jay

The unfortunate reality is, most servers don't last as long as Garnet Gaming.

Garnet Gaming is a big community with a lot of funding behind it. Most servers aren't like that. I've played many servers until the very end. It's not that I choose to leave, sometimes I have, but most of the time it's because things don't work out on the top end. The owner ceases activity due to disinterest, lowering player population, doesn't want to pay for the servers anymore, etc. With a few cases, it's been the community that has broken up and gone their seperate ways. Sometimes I need to take a break because of personal reasons. That being said, I havent halted contact with most of the above servers. I am still in contact with my friends at Reqiuemgaming HL2RP, and it is very likely I return to them in the future. As much as I would like to stay with *one server* it isn't likely. My administration experience is over the course of 5 or so years, so it's not like I was jumping from place to place. In a couple instances I was working for two servers at once. That being said, I am aware of the current rules stating you must not hold any staff position on other servers while serving here.

Most communities - and things, don't last forever. Garnet Gaming has been very fortunate to have stayed afloat for so long, and I'm sure they will continue to do so for much longer.
