    • DENIED After careful review of your appeal . We regretfully inform you that your request for an appeal of your warn has been denied at this time. It's not directly stated in the rules, but it is clear in the video you provided that you didn't own the base Technically from the video you got the door after soja and they were all in there already with a bunch of printers and their base repasted He got disconnected and lost ownership of everything and all his props and rejoined, so of course he goes back to his base.  The amount of printers they have stockpiled in there shows that they have been there for awhile. Mistakes happen with door purchasing sometimes especially when someone disconnects and reconnects and gets caught right in the middle of resettling in.  The staff member decided to give you a warn for failRP for not cooperating.  The punishment degree is always up to the staff member of course with a respectable ceiling depending on the matter. Thank you for attempting an appeal, as well as the effort you have put into your appeal.
    • DENIED After careful review of your report and the events pertaining/involved, as well as deliberation with the Operator Division: We have decided that your report has been denied at this time.  Although it is not directly in the rules, you can't use someone's advert as a means to want them, you have to physically see them breaking the law.  This is an example of metagaming even though it doesn't explicitly say it. There's many ways to explain metagaming with plenty of scenarios and they're not all going to be in the rules because that would be too many. And while you almost bring up a good argument imagine someone was raiding someone's base and you want them across the map. It is essentially the same thing regardless of distance because you went off an advert to perform the want.  Now if you would of seen the advert and "just happen to run downstairs"  first, then want him with him in your sight,  this wouldn't of happened. No other CP were in sight the whole time so there's no way in a RP scenario you would of even known the PD was being raided while upstairs behind closed doors. I hope this was able to help you understand.   Thank you for your report, as well as the effort you have put into your report.
    • Firstly, the purpose of the report was to address the same issue that I dealt with THK ItsJesus in my other report. That is, I was given a warn for meta-gaming because I didn't provide evidence of my arrest. There was no video produced during the staff sit, and THK ItsJesus made it clear that a video was not needed. It came down to THK ItsJesus asking if I had evidence of my arrest and then placing a warn on me for not having said evidence. This is wrong and now I'm forced to use the forums to take up my time for something that should've been dealt in-game.   Secondly, addressing your video. I was in the PD during when the raid happened. While I came out from the upstairs, I was downstairs at the start of the video, hence why you hear the "you better lock up bitch" by Fish at the start of the video. I was locking the door right in front of you guys prior to when your video starts because of the PD raid.    Thirdly, the whole point of "/adverts" is to affect RP situations, the exact opposite of meta-gaming. Perhaps you're confusing "/OOC"? Not only is there no rule that backs up your statement of meta-gaming, but the few rules that mention metagaming or related topics indicate something else.    Metagaming Metagaming is prohibited. Use of OOC or PM to affect the given RP situation you or others are related in. Example: /OOC “I'm being raided *name* come help me!). This rule gives examples of metagaming; note that they only use /OOC and /PM as invalid ways to affect the RP situation. Had they used /advert, then your statement would make sense. Advert Usage Do not use /advert or /broadcast for Non-RP reasons. This states you can only use /advert for non-RP reasons. Obviously, we can negate this and deduct that this means /adverts are valid for RP reasons.  Advert Effects You may steal after adverting steal, once you advert steal the victim or the victim's party member(s) have the right to kill you without adverting counter. There aren't many examples in the rules that highlight the effects/outcomes of using /advert, but here is one case. "Once you advert steal the victim ... have the right to kill you" This makes it clear that by advertising "steal" alone, the victim has the right to kill you immediately. Or in-other words, the victim can rely on your advert to affect the RP scene which is consistent with the other rules shown.    But if you think I'm wrong, then please point out the rule that I'm missing. Because I do not see any rule that points out what you're citing, nor do I see any rule that seems consistent with that reasoning. I do however, see multiple rules that are pretty consistent that "/advert" affects RP based on the rules and that players can act off it.
    • Hi there. I looked up your SteamID because the situation seemed familiar and your in game name is Cyphreak at the time of this report. While I was not the one to issue the warn I was directly involved in the situation and I do have evidence you were metagaming. You cannot use chat messages in any shape or form to want or warrant someone this includes raiding. You have to physically see them breaking the law before issuing a want. The evidence I will provide below will show you wanting me then coming down from the upstairs portion of the PD thus proving you were not within eyesight or saw me attempting to raid the PD BEFORE issuing the want. Link to a medal clip of the evidence
