    • well its actually 275k. anyways good suggestion i like it, really makes sense to be honest.  hey man are you forgetting that we can see in logs how you died well actually, the average person loses less than you make per hour on a single printer from a mug.
    • I'm actually shocked at how little your "rebuttals" make sense, so I'm going to try to be very direct with this. The change would be, as outlined in your suggestion, that in addition to dying, you would LOSE MONEY. This is a big change than just dying. Alright, here's an example. I get mugged and would have to pay money - instead of going to pay it, I run off somewhere and die by fall damage. There's no way to prove that it was FailRP, like if you kill-binded, so I just avoid paying the mug the same way people current avoid paying mugs.  OK, so now we'd put admins in a scenario where they're either forced to fork over their own money in order to satisfy this new change, or just go "yeahh tough shit, I'll jail them for NLR." Also, let's not act like players are not willing to break rules, especially when the punishment that they see is deemed more preferable than what should be the outcome. I'm quite confident a lot of people who play this server would rather take a jail/warn than to lose large amounts of money. If you didn't gather the multiple points that I brought up was me saying that "this is how the suggestion would be exploited," then I don't know what to say. I'm saying it's exploitable because it is - and I don't think any adjustments to this suggestion would make it fair/balanced.   What you are writing off as a "nothing" change would still be a lose/lose for new players. New players are obviously not going to be able to defend themselves well against a perked-up D-lore wielding level 300 player. If this change were implemented, new players would essentially just get bullied harder by VIPs, because now not only do they not have even means to defend themselves, any "choice" on whether or not they spend their money or die is lost. Which brings to to re-iterate my point from the end of my first post - Mugging has always been a choice. The choice inherently being, Die, Pay Money, or Kill your mugger. Adding this would effectively remove any benefit to choosing to die, and basically put them into a forced scenario where losing their money is nigh-guaranteed. I think that's fucked up and not fair.  Correct! And with this change, mugging Candy would STILL be pointless for most people involved. New players obviously aren't going to be able to reap the benefits of this, because Candy is a multi-prestiged player with Custom Classes and literally thousands of hours on Garnet. For the vast majority of people, mugging Candy would still be a net-negative, because candy has the options to either run away or just kill the mugger with a DLore. Newer/Weaker players do not have such an advantage, and thus would just get steamrolled by anyone who wanted to get free money - now without the option to choose to say "I'd rather die than pay the money, hence the CHOICE aspect of /mugging"   For someone who claimed that my points weren't "specific enough," your rebuttal to what's apparently my best point in the argument is the completely vague "it's avoidable Nutter can make things happen" is honestly kind of ridiclous.   Kinda telling that the only people who've +1'd this so far has been the same group who's been sitting in a discord call with each other and megabase alt-farming for the past few days. Perhaps you guys don't have the best perception on the value of losing money when you guys make 10s of millions in matter of a couple hours, and this proposed change to "make mugging older players worth it" wouldn't actually harm you at all. Something to think about going forward.
