Hello MRP peeps! I am almost done working on the weapons update for the server, and I had a cool idea for new content! If say 15 minutes pre-war a supply drop was to fall on one of the objectives, say, in the center of embassy, or the roads connecting our ATTC buildings. US and Russia could battle over it, and whichever team wins could benefit off of having an advantage at the beginning of the next war with an upgraded arsenal consisting of rapid fire weapons and RPGs. This advantage would obviously not put one side at an advantage for the entirety of the war, but rather make the process of "takeover" easier initially, allowing one side to gain control of an objective easier, until all these weapons are lost due to the players' death. Would love to hear your criticism!

Jesus christ the formating issues Description: I'm suggesting that we fix the problem of head glitching. I don't really have a paragraph of fluff to stuff here, but headglitching=bad. Reasoning: It would prevent people playing like skids from doing it intentionally, and unintentionally. Explanation: The first person POV is always as if you have your keys out or weapon on safety. The issue arises when you pull your primary weapon out. Your model's head lowers, but your POV stays the same. You're kind of just asking us to fix an issue without offering a viable way of doing so, I am able to edit a players' POV when carrying a weapon, but it would be a hacky solution and be extremely time consuming. Feel free to suggest a good way of going about this other than just "Hey, fix this"

Not to tell you your guide is shit but your guide is shit this is the proper way to do it....... RU Attachment Guide. Preface: This guide is not the be all end all when it comes to attachments it simply gives recommendations based off the current meta and trends on the server. This guide will be seperated into 4 sections going over the basics of the weapon, recommended attachments, non-recommended attachments, and a final workup of the recommended attachments and play style. without further waste of time lets begin. TLDR at end The Basics The RU entry weapon is a modified version of a rifle from the AK platform and retains the ability to swap to different versions including the RPK and AKU variants each having their own play styles and effective ranges for the purposes of this guide we will consider them alternate weapons for completely different purposes. The RPK Being the long range high damage LMG variant, and the AKU erring more on the side of an SMG. Not Recommended Magnum Rounds - For obvious reasons this attachment is a hard pass a 33% increase in recoil and a measly 5% for damage. The reason we don’t use this with the base variant of the AK is the trade off between recoil and damage with the 5% increase and damage your Time to kill (TTK from now on) does not decrease meaning its wasted damage, on the RPK variant however its a completely different game because it does decrease. Match Rounds - 5% aim spread for a 10% reload speed decrease. The tiny 5% increase does not warrant the 10% reload nerf. Recommended Foregrip - 20% recoil decrease with a 30% increase in mobility with a trade off of an increase in deploy speed by 10%. A pretty good option IMO the deploy speed only increases to .67 from .60 which has little meaning H. Stock - 10% recoil decrease for a 10% in handling, another attachment like the foregrip where the trade off doesnt really matter with the handling already being high as is. RPK Mag - 15 round increase in mag capacity for a slight nerf of 5% to handling and 10% to reload speed. Not much to say here other than the debuffs are marginal. PBS-1 - 10% Recoil Decrease along with firing noise decrease for 10% in damage and handling. Same concept with the Magnum rounds from earlier the 10% damage decrease doesnt matter because it doesnt change time to kill meaning the same number of shots will still kill the opponent while handling really isnt too important in my opinion. Conclusion - TLDR The RU AK weapon is a joke in terms of aimspread and recoil and you wouldnt be able to hit the broadside of a barn with this weapon. my personal recommendation would be to swap to something more useful like medic, but if you have your heart set on the AK here are the attachment lists. As for the playstyle with this weapon you have to be up close or your going to be fucking useless because every donor weapon will butcher you due to their far superior stats. RPK Variant - RPK Mag, Magnum rounds, H stock, and Kobra Short/AKU Variant - Foregrip, RPK Mag, Kobra, and H stock. Standard Variant - Foregrip, RPK Mag, PBS-1, Kobra, and H stock That moment when you cant figure out a good way to get pictures in....

Attachments AR Magazine Attachment Magazine size 60 > 40 Handling Sensitivity nerf 10% > 15% Reload speed decrease 15% > 25% Match Ammunation Aim Spread decrease 30% > 5% Reload Speed decrease 0% > 10% Class Changes Delta Force has been removed Rangers now carry Delta Force's playermodels (GBs don't cry about this or I'll remove you guys too) Stamina System This feature has been removed from the server, a new solution may be looked into in the near future Weapons Base Changes still under progress!

Your a good player and make good calls in wars, I see you a lot talking with other US members and you seem mature but I have to agree with everyone else, I've never seen you chatting or playing on the RU side. I'm going to stay neutral but suggest that you, like most have said, interact within the community more. Me personally, I would suggest changing sides and joining the RU teamspeak and get to know everyone and chat, but other than that I could see you getting staff one day. Keep up the great work and dedication, and best luck on your application.

He has grown since the last time he put in an application like what Gotham said there nothing wrong with copying and pasting your own staff app again especially when there was nothing wrong with it. Thank you for sharing the similarities in his previous and current staff applications, but I don't feel it necessary to write a response explaining how or why you're going to stay neutral. I understand I've done the same thing but it's entirely useless. Those actually exist? :thinking: Back on track, however, and I've gotta say I +1 this application. Since Texas' last application he has reached over double his playtime. As somebody who has swapped between US and RU, this doesn't seem important but I remember having a few conversations with Texas, as well as seeing his behavior and some conflict resolution while in-game. I consistently play RU now but can definitely say that I feel able to evaluate how Texas could be an asset on the staff team. From what I've seen Texas has made an effort to integrate and communicate with all people on the server (well, not all, but he does talk to more than just US) which is a step-up from his last application nearly a month ago.

The issue wasn't with his app. It was about his activity and how well he is known. There is nothing wrong with that. Imagine rewriting your resume anytime you applied for a job. There's no way to uniquely describe yourself and what you've done multiple times. It's a +1 from me.

BRUH O CLOCK Not to Rip on Garnet: The stamina system was very well made and had few major bugs. It changed the combat pace of the server for the better, but unfortunately, it had drawbacks. On the macroscale level, Stamina helped the shit out of the server, making combat more refined and limited instead of people jumping all over the place. It's drawbacks, though just weren't worth it. I hope we can find a new system to combat the issue of unrealistic combat being abused.

An example is I found out in forums mods and others circle jerk their own posts/opinions and mass dislike others opinions. So I am toxic but for the fun of it. I checked logs and I didn't see any adverts. I told him I would ban him just to scare him and make him nervous, which I will agree was immature of me, but I just wanted to get on with the report. He kept delaying, and stalling so I felt like they were doing it intentionally, since there has been a ton of people like that on the server lately. So with him doing that, I checked one more time in the log for adverts, and there were no /advert Raid, or steal for them so I told them what was going to happen one last time. They still didn't do it so I banned them. I might've jumped the gun too quick, but it was in my best intentions to help get rid of the people who do have no intent to roleplay.

To be honest I am having hard time finding the part where I admitted MassRDM, because yet I am still confused whether you think swinging a Crowbar and people walking up to it. Is considered to be RDM. Doesn't really help much? I am looking for answers here ^^

Currently being a prostitute is very dull and boring... I think it would be a bit more fun if they had a Drildo. The Drildo is the PEAK reason people play it on other servers prostitute jobs. Don't see a lot of people playing as the job, nothing really special about it... Yet this would give some flavor to it. Please give Drildo (It just spins basically, you can turn the damage off through damage handling add-ons)

+1 with my experience in marines hes good at what he does and he does it efficiently. As for the -1s in the post because you dont know him i dont think thats a valid reason to minus one a staff app, you are not required to be known on both sides of the server to be staff and by -1ing you are saying there is something wrong with him and that he is not fit to be staff. In my personnel opinion withholding any rating whatsoever until said person is engaged with or conversed with is the proper course of action. This is because you dont know the person, his capabilities, problems, and weak points and you are -1 saying there is something wrong with him when there is a very likely possibility that there is nothing wrong with him. this is all personal opinion of course and should be taken as such.
