ACCEPTED When holding the position of GM, you are allowed to use your permissions to help balance the war if the situation for one side is overwhelming, however in this instance, there are several poor decisions made leading up to what happened as represented in the post. As far as avoiding something like this from happening again, GMs will now require permission from the H.GM if they would like to help balance war with their perms. If the H.GM isn't present, then I expect them to swap to the other nation just as any staff would. In regards to Conway, I don't believe Conway's intention was to sabotage war for AFG, which would in fact warrant much more than a staff strike. There are clear instances of misuse of perms, especially making the decision to "balance" two minutes into war, but at the end of the day the damage done does not equate to a removal. I can comfortably chalk this down to an unbelievable lack of thought when decision making, and I've now hopefully ensured that a situation like this will not happen again. Conway will receive his first strike, making it one of two before removing him is the decision to be made. @Proggy @Fonza Move to accepted.

As I stated in the title when you are revived with the defibrillator as an explosive class you should not be allowed or have access to your explosive. To Regain access to your explosive you must respawn. With the amount of explosive classes on the server along with the Defibs it has led to an explosive meta. When you get revived with the defib you get the ammo you would normally spawn with including any explosives. Dying as an explosive class should be a disadvantage for your team but with the defib it can become an advantage if you used explosives already as you gain them back. Nail team six really showed the power of being revived as an explosive class. To wrap a long story short it was unfun to play against because they essentially had unlimited rockets. The only issue I really had on this map was with PP. (Power Plant). In my opinion, I think it's the most overlooked and underwhelming OBJ on the map and throwing in some more rocks, trees, and barricades around wouldn't hurt. To explain more in depth: Ignore the arch (older SS) but I think the bottom right portion of this screenshot could use some more rocks/trees. Next part I would change is to add some more random broken down cars, sandbags, and boxes near the outskirts just to provide a bit more cover. Lastly, this may have been said already but just to be sure, the top right of the SS at the corner of the walls, I would say removing or moving that rock. It's been a popular place people headglitch and camp and I think it could case more issues in the future. Perhaps making it taller/shorter to make it harder to headglitch on? Thanks!

Also for bases, might be worth removing the runway and setting up buildings so each SOC faction could have their own bunks. That's a cool factor on the current map that each faction as a full building to their own, including base factions. As the runway isn't necessary, due to lack of aircraft other than helicopters, it would free up the space without real detriment to the base.

I know you're slightly unsure what to do with the walls/wall area and what the community wants, so I had this poll done in the Discord I do want to note from a practical perspective of the map, with the walls staying removed, basecamp rules would allow either side to sit right outside the walls of the base hypothetically, which is obviously not what the map was originally made with in mind so that will need looking at if the walls are to remain gone.

-1 Those paragraphs are littered with grammatical errors, with no flow, and like half of them are filler. Fix those paragraphs and I'll reconsider.

-1 You've got decent paragraphs, however having 3 warns in only 86 hours is very concerning. If this gets denied I'd wait for at least two of them to expire. I just can't say I trust you know the rules with so many warns in such a short timeframe.

Neutral If you have one of those -----AOS/KOS----- lines you can enforce it on the stairs, so making an official rule wouldn't make too much sense considering it's already possible Regardless I support having one set rule that states exactly where AOS/KOS can be enforced

+1 Personally, I don't think that the amount of paragraphs is too important so as long as the content of them are substantial. In the case of this application I think it has plenty of information that helps to outline the type of staff he would be as well as the type of player he is. Seemingly, he wants to help foster a healthy community as well as retain new players by not deterring them with harsh punishments in the event they have a mishap and break rules themselves. Also, while I do interact with Jashmeed very often I don't think it's a big deal that he doesn't interact with the opposing side a lot seeing as how right now, without being staff, they don't exactly have a lot of common ground to talk on. However, when being accepted for staff he would actually have common ground to talk with them on whereas now, as I mentioned, he doesn't really have. Plus it doesn't hurt to give him a chance seeing as how he's been here for a while and done a fair bit over his tenure (Joined TSFU and reached the rank of MSGT and most recently joined Badri) EDIT: I think it's also worth noting how despite being falsely banned for cheating and, at the time, the staff team for the most part being fully against his unban he remained mature throughout the entire situation as well as level-headed. Which is something we desperately need in the staff team since 90% of it is lacking both of those qualities.

Once we had settled on point and began to hold we were subsequently bombed by Conway whilst he was GM, for whatever reason, and all were wiped. After Conway had caught some backlash in ooc he began to focus on damage control by apologizing, swapping to AFG RPG, and even PMing me saying he ""asked for myself to get a strike." BUT he also mentioned how he "selected the wrong one and I missed." The main issue here is why are we using GM tools for balancing when ONLY 2 minutes had passed and also while we were already outnumbered.
