After talking amongst staff about a possible ROE change it would be best to ask the community also. Current ROE : Ist: Do not shoot unless fired upon. Only applies outside of war. Does not apply if you're on someone else's claim. 2nd: You may shoot anyone with explosives in their hands. Proposed ROE: US KOS Taliban with a weapon out. Unless its on a claimed Area. AFG KOS any US outside of base and not in a claimed area. Quickswapping will be enforced. With the the current POP of the server I have noticed and also what others have noticed is that newer players leave the server during peacetime when nothing is happening. With the proposed ROE change it would bring more players to the Taliban cause they have more freedom of what they want to do but also give players on both sides reasons to leave the base. I made a list in our staff discord of what they would think of a possible ROE change. Pros: Tali numbers would go up substantially as they would get more freedom to do whatever they want unless its a claim/base. Players when they join they want to kill people once they figure out they have a gun. This would allow people to kill other people and have a sense of realism on both sides. It would give a purpose of patroling spots on the map and have the chance of being ambushed and a sense of an actual MilRP scenario. People can act like civilians on the map instead of switching to the civ class. Making sure there is no chances of raids and being able to prevent them from raiding DB's before they get into the base. Cons: People would get killed outside of base. Will be hectic in sits possibly but we use logs to figure out most situations. Obviously there are more pros as this is something I mentioned awhile ago to staff so there is bias here so I'm asking for your help on possible pros or cons that I haven't listed and how you guys think it would take affect.

-1 While the bitcoin miners might be pretty cool, the reason for my -1 is to keep the vanilla aspect of the server and reduce the download which is one of main reasons I liked Garnet DarkRP over other servers. Perhaps if CityRP came back, this could be something interesting to try out there and I'd be happy to give it a go for sure. I can't see any issue if people just want to enjoy printer-farming with their friends? In fact the baser / raider aspect of DarkRP is one of the oldest concepts of the game mode. I'm personally not a fan of raiding myself, but I still see why others enjoy it. That's the beauty of DarkRP, there's something for everyone; that includes chilling with a few friends while farming printers and listening to music. I made millions without the use of alts by simply buying printers off other people and manufacturing meth. In fact I would often check the TAB menu and I was usually in the top 5 richest online, all without the use of any alts. It's only in recent times I use alts when the server pop is low and I fancy farming, so in that sense I'm living proof you don't need alts to still become incredibly wealthy relative to others in-game. It's just whether you want to spend the time and effort getting to that point, just as I and many others have done?

ACCEPTED The clip clearly shows faderet breaking NLR on multiple occasions. As a staff member, he should have known about the NLR rule. This is honestly embarrassing and I am sincerely sorry for the inconvenience of that encounter in-game. Faderet will be talked to about this and actions will be taken so this doesn't happen again.

Exactly. That's what some of our community members completely miss is that whether server pop is at 103 because of farms or "real players", there will never be 103 people visible all at once or even close, people will be afk, people will be in bases, and yeah some people like to walk around with some bubby buddies. Hell, at least half of the real active players you see everyday in the street don't farm, and may not have even based in years. There will be roughly 120-210 printers somewhere on the map everyday, all that determines who will be the richest is whoever is most content to sit behind those props like the fucking Alamo, sometimes for quite literally 2 full days at a time.

Currently, rifles are in a pretty bad spot in my opinion. They are majorly outclassed by other guns in many other scenarios, especially with the sniper meta on this map. It would be nice to see a fire rate adjustment as the current recoil of rifles makes them quite unfun to use in war. This is a very surface level change, and you should probably reference other more detailed threads for specific weapon changes.

+1 While I definitely think the event ideas could use a good amount more depth, but they are all original and fairly creative. I haven’t had any issues with you following rules personally and I know you’re quite active. If the event ideas were maybe a little longer I think it would be a pretty solid app.

Also to be able to talk without having somthing on your X button make sure you have your Developer Console Enabled then press ` and do +voicerecord hope this helps

This may be true, but at the end of the day running a server is far from free. Running a server alone costs money along with expanding it or having people who develop for the server does as well. Obviously I don't have any knowledge of how much the server would cost to run, but I get the feeling its a lot more than people think maybe including me. In my opinion the current donation store works quite well. Lowering the price of VIP significantly would also probably upset people who bought it previously. I think the best solution might to be to find some way to give VIP more perks, but the only thing that I can think of right now, is maybe a class or two that isn't its own sub-batt. Maybe just something that has different weaponry or something special from other jobs in the batt or server. I just have the feeling Garnet set the price to that for good reason, especially considering how little needs VIP on the server.

So this has been a difficult one for me, and I wasn’t sure whether to go for +1 or stay at neutral for now. The thing is, I genuinely think you’d be a great staff member, just as you were previously last time you were staff. All my interactions with you have been great, and there are a good amount of people who’ve said the same. I think you are helpful and kind, incredibly active and very knowledgable, holding a previous executive position within the staff team. The reason I’ve been indecisive about giving a straight-up +1 is because of you’re current reputation within the community. I feel it’s important to be respected by the community if you’re re-joining the staff team and that it’s something you need to properly address, which will unfortunately take time to rebuild. But I’m very confident you can make it happen. I’d like to mention that Fetn is absolutely correct in what he’s said about you being a victim of toxicity yourself, and I have made it explicitly clear how unfair and contradictory those people are, and I will continue to call those people out for their actions. Anyone who is bullied will eventually lash out, and I feel a lot of the things you are accused of recently are a direct result of the angry mob’s enticement. You’re showing a strength of character in continuing to improve and stay within the community which I have a lot of respect for. And I agree with Shin that I too am rooting for you and it’s always cool to chat and have a laugh. I’ve got absolute faith in you and I think you’d do an incredible job. But it may take time to rebuild certain relationships and that’s something only you’ll be able to do. I know you’ve made a superb effort to do this already, but it may just take a little bit of time as I’ve said before. If I had to give a clear response then it would be a +1 knowing that you’ll be there in time anyway

Here's some attention to detail. Notice the screenshot is taken on evocity, a map that is virtually only used when vehicles are also involved. GG DRP is a mostly vanilla server; however, maybe if GG CRP comes back to life you could make the suggestion there since A: There will already be downloads. and B: It gives players an additional reason to buy the more utilitarian vehicles from the dealer.

Kinda splitting hairs with you here but hear me out. All big farm bases have a way to get printers in and out. If there was another way to make money, then the exact bases you're referring to will build a way to get those items in and out just as fast as printers, but it also creates a bigger hole, and what do bigger holes do? they entice raiders, especially if the bigger holes are on the biggest bases. This brings us back to Cityrp. If we had CRP then we could add this and it would 100000% increase your odds of a successful raid just because of the nature of the bigger holes, you could run in on foot, try to get in the car as they're pulling in, or just try to force your car through as fast as possible in an attempt to get inside. It would completely revolutionize both raiding and building, and it would all be new. But..........................

Wartime -Turn off friendly fire or if not highlight all teammates with a green outline and if your in a squad have the outline a different color like blue (only visible to you and your squad mates) -Fix the Cuffs or atleast have fall damage disabled with cuffs -more bots to increase server pop

I suppose, but the way he went about it just seemed cocky to me, like as if his rank is a right It's possible, but it's his tone when he's talking that gets me, it's not like Gates who can't hold back a laugh. It gives off the wrong impression as a first. It was a small thing, but just how it's a blob, doesn't look nice, and the content. It's just unprofessional and sleazy. Hit registration being fixed changes on weapons to make them more efficient and balanced and overall just more content and you got my issues solved

Some gang of bloods who were previously based downtown were trying to build inside and take it over as theirs. When i met them earlier on in the server they were a bit unpredictable. Like shooting out of fading doors without buttons at people on the sidewalks and prop blocking me and Wes inside their base when we raided. Given the way they moved as a group in the past I kept my dragonlore ready incase anything happened. As I went to the base I owned they were asking me to sell the doors and I told them no. Eventually after going back and forth about the doors one of their members sprays at me with a mp9, and since I already knew how they were acting before, I guess you could say I overreacted. Why should your ban be removed?: I think my ban should be lifted because I don't have a track record of disturbing the roleplay within the server and I would say I am pretty friendly with everyone I meet. It was an honest overreaction, trigger finger - fight or flight response kind of moment. Thank you for reading.
