-1 While I do see the benefits in theory, unfortunately there's some major issues with implementing a rule like this: How would a raider know the base is owned by a level 10-15 player? Do they have to check the TAB menu for each raid against the door owner? What If a level 10 was basing with a level 20 player? A new unraidable-base meta would emerge where you could just ask a level 10 to own the doors to a base and hey presto, raid-free base! New players would be discouraged to level-up, they could just ask others to collect from the printers and hand over the cash, so they can stay raid-free forever If a new player has never been raided, it's likely they may not have gone through the trial-and-error stage of base design, it only delays this process meaning level 16 is the new, new. We all expect to be somewhat 'bad' the first time we play a game, and so our expectations of success are lower than after we have played for a number of hours, so it could arguably be more frustrating later on As you say, it's more of an unwritten rule where if you know someone is new, you try not to give them a hard time. I think making it a written rule is tricky though and could potentially lead to more issues than it prevents. I think it's possibly better to encourage high-level players to base with new players, so that new players can pick up on the knowledge of veterans while also forming deeper relationships with the community

The decision to remove your ban and accept your appeal is due, but not limited to, the following: All though you did let him kill your alts in spawn when you knew he was gonna use nerve gas, which wasn't a smart idea as this is what caused this entire situation, I'm going to accept your appeal as you didn't know 3 or so people that weren't your alts were gonna end up killed via monkeys nerve gas. Weapon Crate Cost Adjustment Description I believe the price of weapon crates should be adjusted. Specifically the $1 million Forbidden Crate and the $25 million Explosives Crate. Based on the current average of capital per player (anecdotal observations,) explosive and high tier weapons are only accessible by a very small percentage of the server population. I'm suggesting to lower the cost of Forbidden Crates to ~$250-500k and the cost of Explosive Crates to ~$3-10mil. If that is not possible, then increasing the odds of better item drops from these crates would be another good alternative. Reasoning Due to the average capital of any random player on the server being so low currently, the rate and cost of acquisition of these high tier weapons disincentivizes players from buying the crates at all. The standard price RPG's are being sold for is $5-8mil now and ~$10mil for matadors. Considering it takes $1 mil to have a small chance at RPG and a far smaller chance at Matador, these numbers don't add up. I believe that the cause is the lack of market for selling these weapons for what they should be worth based on the price. If the odds of receiving an RPG from a Forbidden Crate are 1/20, the cost should be at least $20mil, and even more exaggerated for higher tier weapons/explosives. I believe as the model currently stands the weapon crates have been made nearly obsolete, meaning it's almost never a good idea to buy them as you can never make your money back. Finally, I believe slightly increasing the accessibility of these high tier weapons would increase server population, providing more incentive for players to stay on and realistically farm for, as well as vastly increasing the enjoyment of the server from players now able to get their hands on these weapons.

+1, i honestly kind of agree, they can do just about nothing to stop higher level players, i wouldn't wanna stay if that shit kept happening to me, now there would be multiple rules needing to be made and some other things for sure. But it would help honestly.

You have been here for a bit and you should have known this would cause a problem, and I honestly feel from how you responded that you did know. Technically, yes you broke a rule. Clickable or not is not defined in the rules, nor should it be - otherwise people would omit the "https://" and just try to void the rules on links because it's "not a clickable link", as a loophole. That said - do I personally think the ban was a bit much in this context? Yes. Locking until the DarkRP Administration Team reviews, to prevent further arguments. Both parties have responded with their evidence and/or statements.

Let me also bring up, and I'm pretty sure the quote was almost exactly like this just before he got banned: "Fuck this server. If I get banned, I'm not coming back" You can take this with any amount of grains of salt that you want. I don't have a clip or anything, but multiple staff members were there when he typed that in chat.

I hate to be the uhm actually guy, but actually unless Fgb (Fat Good Boi) killed someone I dont see the reason on why he should be banned. Also none of the people killed my monkey with a gun made a report, and as a staff member you should know that unless the guy that's been killing doesnt rdm you, you cant report him :/. Thus meaning that Fat Good Boi should get His ban revoked and @Chawhead a review on the rules and practical situations like in the interview when becoming a staff and @Giygas you too, even tho you're new to the staff team and rules in general, please read the rules better.

Hi Wayne, You were reported twice in a row for RDM. The first sit whiskey took with you and then you were jailed. I don’t believe your “killing them in a base” because you were a DJ. As you can see in the screenshot below, you were a DJ. If you claim you were doing what you were doing as a DJ- you were fail rping. Not to mention, you have a good amount of playtime and should know the rules or be familiar with them. I've had very little interaction with you, but besides the few positives in your application (read the rules, met age requirement, etc.) your demeanour that I see on the server is rather immature and I've seen really nothing to change that. To top that off you have a current warn on record for false reporting, and a previous ban for homophobia as well. While I believe everyone is capable of change, for now I'm gonna want to see you be a more model player before I can give you any recommendation. -1 QUICK EDIT: Schyzo recently added to his post that you were just banned for Mass RDM. Yikes, if I had my doubts before, this really solidifies it. Banned while you have an active staff application is a REALLY bad look, especially for Mass RDM of all things.

My only issue with this is, we have a staff team that is more than capable of removing/banning people from classes if deemed necessary, and if your suggestion is intended to save them time by empowering the mayor to demote them, if they get mad about that they're just gonna bring it to the staff anyway. I'm not entirely sure how useful this will be, if someone's being problematic enough to get demoted, chances are, they're being problematic enough to have a staff member intervene.

I feel like this is kinda already an existing concept, I wouldn't be entirely opposed to replacing deadshot with a more recognizable character, (no offense deadshot.) If there is enough support we can totally make this change, but we're already working on another concept that might deliver on this extra assassin demand.
