  1. Thank you for this response, because that is something I have wanted to bring up. Please do not just ask for "something to do". Clarify what it is you would enjoy doing. I hear people on MilitaryRP rant all day about how there's not a whole lot to do between once, but not once have I gotten back an actual effective idea at creating fun roleplay. Conway is a new leader, and he more or less got thrown into the position as me and him have been very close in the past, and he is the only major/long-time Garnet member who was left on StarwarsRP with Phantom and Bishop leaving abruptly. I have no doubt he will get in the groove of things sooner rather than later. Finally, yes, as you have mentioned, it should already be that way (and it was in the past) but it is very hard to enforce with hardly anybody to fill a faction's roster. We have event props staff can use to "build" events, as well as utilize the Advanced Duplicator tool. Our server is more than capable of it. This is definitely something that could get brought up with the GM team. That would be greatly appreciated

Hello nutgamers, TLDR; 2 of my favorite servers are struggling and I'd like to make changes, but I have not been able to determine the cause (StarwarsRP and MilitaryRP) Today I'd like to start a topic about a thread that I have been shying away from as I am entirely lost, but I think it is worth exploring. The covid-19 pandemic hit and unfortunately everybody was quarantined, during this time our servers' populations skyrocketed (expected) and has actually dipped down significantly going into summer, as people were no longer forced to be home. While a dip WAS entirely expected and this is nothing new, we opened a SWRP server which did fairly well, while also maintaining our MilitaryRP playerbase at well above 90 players at peak. Throughout the month of June with finals and stay-at-home orders lifting in some states, our population dropped on StarwarsRP, leaving us with 20-40 players for the entirety of June, while MilitaryRP has been averaging 50-60. Throughout this duration of time, I have spent more time than ever learning more about development (creating/improving content) as well as some extra mapping experience on the side. We have now gone 30 days and all of our servers have mostly stabilized, while I genuinely view StarwarsRP as a complete utter failure as we had only hit 30 players on 4th of July, and 13 on the 5th. MilitaryRP has still stayed at 50-60, but fails to peak at 8PM as it did in the past, and instead, the population simply starts dropping much earlier in the day. Throughout this process, I've been keeping up with implementing everything found in the suggestion areas for each respective server as necessary, and I have reached out to some members regarding needed changes and implemented those. I have asked around, and haven't been able to receive any answers from anybody regarding what's going on, so please, if anybody is aware, please share with me why is it that as our servers had gone up in quality, it seems that our population has seemingly gone down? - I am only asking because I genuinely would like to fix any issues. Whether it be a complete server overhaul/complete map revamp/major changes. I have heard from countless people this could be a result of leadership, however, this isn't something that I can directly help in the situation in which a long time Manager or SA decides their time has come I would like to assume that if we ever have a struggle with a server's leadership, it is documented and reported on the forums.

Unboxing System Complete overhaul Multiple different crates added - still left to add is some explosives as well as vapes, but I'd like to receive criticism for our existing crates Currently featuring the Bronze - Silver - Gold - Garnet Priced at 10k - 25k- 50k - 100k (ignore the pricing in the image above) More money spent results in higher tiered weapons. IE: the Garnet crate strictly features donator weapons. Printers Printer withdraw cooldown was cut in half, now 5 seconds. (previously 10) Battering Ram CPs can no longer ram the doors of wanted players, all players who are being raided by the PD MUST be issued a warrant. Prestige Totem Disagree button has been removed Dueling As requested by Proggy, players in a party cannot initiate a duel - I assume that this is to deter players getting into a duel and being unable to damage one another/minging. Prop Spawning CPs can no longer spawn props PS. it was never intended the mayor can build up his PD, instead, use the tens of doors throughout the PD to hide and protect yourself if you uphold bad/controversial laws

NOTE: These changes are only applied to the TTT Rotational server- it has been incredibly difficult getting things done in a timely manner, as I really only have contact with Enigma when it comes to the TTT community Mutation Rounds Zombie Mode Zombies spawn have been ramped up significantly Limit of 20 zombies alive at a time has been raised to 50 (may cause lag if the server is full EXPERIMENTAL FOR NOW) Added a config to define spawnpoints for zombies if necessary at a later time - no use for it currently. Created a light-weight alternative for HL2 default zombies, but it is entirely untested until I have better communication with some TTT staff other than Enigma.     It's called utilizing Teamspeak's war channel. I have absolutely no plans on adding a voice-chat system to further hog the performance of the server, when I literally pay for a voice-chat communication system outside of Gmod.

Mostly an update that I felt would spice up gameplay, took me a literal 26 hours to get done in one shot, but with that being said, I learned a ton about some more advanced lua coding methods and it should all be bug-free Thank you Conway for some extra suggestions I had also tossed onto the server Automated Event System Bugs & Misc Fixed MTTs not taking damage during Invasion events Change MTT model to one in our most up-to-date vehicle pack /setevent command added to allow staff to choose the new upcoming event Voting System Shortly after every event, a vote will be posted similarly to the MRP server to vote for the next upcoming event. TODO: Randomize outpost takeovers in different outposts New Events Outpost Takeover CIS forces have began taking control over a nearby outpost Upon arrival we see a moderate amount of droids on the scene, as well as a ship hovering over the scene A large amount of droids must be eliminated followed by the Ship in order to regain control of the outpost TODO: give a generous amount of experience to the player who has dealt the most damage to the droid ship Crystal Cave Breach CIS forces have made their way into the crystal cave system and planted detonators throughout, causing mass destruction Upon arrival we see a moderate amount of droids on the scene, as well as a ship hovering over the scene A large amount of droids must be eliminated followed by the Ship in order to regain control of the outpost Upon clearing and breaching, droids will not despawn and you must continue to fight them past the end of the event Content Additions LFS Vehicles TX-103 MTT

Body Grouper Stations have been added across the map to customize the appearance of your playermodel Simply utilize "E" or 'Use' and pick from a list of available bodygroups for your playermodel Event System Droid Invasion Ship health has been increased from 50,000 to 100,000 (combined total of 200,000) Frequency of events has been changed from every 2 hours and 30 minutes to every 1 hour and 30 minutes Added support for Managers and Lead Admins /endevent /startevent as well as /startevent infection /EndEvent /StartEvent Completely revamped droid spawnpoints as to avoid them spawning in one-another, literally a pool of over 1,000 spawn points is present Invasion ships have been relocated to be outside of front gate as to force players to rush through droids in order to complete the event successfully TODO: add more spawn points for droids sorrounding the ships and possibly boost up NPC spawn based on number of users online TODO: make ship's health depend on number of players online TODO: give monetary reward to players who have damaged the ships the most, IE: rare item Hologram Tables New model has been assigned bugs have been ironed out, system still needs some overall work (was supposed to be a part of this update, but I genuinely don't think it'd work in a live environment after testing with Conway, rip ) Maybe in the next 24 hours i'll figure out a way to fix it?   18. No way to make it a non-global variable, it is surely inconvenient but it fixes more issues than anything else, simply tap E, wait 10 seconds and tap E again in the worst case scenario. I could potentially shorten the delay by a few seconds at a later time.

  21. It's one of those updates that took me DAYS to complete, but people will not be thankful/caring for because it doesn't include "new content". This is a MASSIVE quality of life update, should heavily promote server stability resulting in far less crashes. General optimizations have also been pushed for better clientside FPS Unboxing Server-side code partially revamped as to allow for more server Stability Inventories have unfortunately been wiped as a result This may or may not have fixed client crashes for our players, however, if Unboxing is to be removed still, I will allow for a grace period to ensure players can utilize their inventories prior to its removal. Inventory & Bank System Code revamped - multiple exploits has been patched, and performance has been optimized I have largely managed to keep data structures the same so there is 0 possibilities for inventories to have wiped If any issues/inconsistencies/bugs are found, please report them here. Third Person Using an entirely new third person modification that is revamped and updated Better wall collisions detected as to prevent wall-glitching/see through the maps exploits of sorts Commands: /thirdperson and /thirdpersonmenu Money Printers Added 10 second cooldown between intervals in which you can withdraw money from printers This will both help server networking for users who for some reason enjoy spamming 'E' on printers to spam other users, as well as degrade server performance by spamming net messages. A 30 second cooldown was added between intervals under which a player can recolor their printers as well due to redundancy and unnecessary networking Cooler Durability Coolers will now last anywhere random from 10 to 30 minutes, with an average of 20 minutes (previously ALWAYS 15 minutes) this will allow for more randomization when it comes to printers Printers also overheat much slower than previously as to allow owners more time to get to their base in order to purchase a new cooler (25% slower than before) for a total of roughly 10 minutes before they overheat and explode Increased the distance at which players can interact with printers so that you do not need to practically stand on them in order to withdraw money Cooler breaking notification added Scoreboard General Optimization Money tab added Formatting for money has been fixed (no worries) Todo: fix hitman log errors disallow CPs from spawning props disallow players in parties from participating in duels disallow CPs from battering ramming wanted players (restricted to warranted only)
  22. I personally wouldn't call unboxing a "prime feature" it was actually added very recently, but despite the fact, i'm trying my best to keep it as many people enjoy it.

To provide more information as to what’s going to happen, Unbox will be partially recoded and utilize new data storage methods, as such, it will inevitably wipe in 48 hours. it will then be tested with the new method for stability. If this new method does not work, I will unfortunately have to rid of the addon or have it recoded more professionally as it is too advanced for me to recreate. Sorry for the inconvenience, however, the server will hopefully not experience any instabilities following this!
