  1. Seems like a really poorly thought through suggestion. If we allow anybody to determine their own names as whatever they wish, they can easily impersonate other players leading to potential problems. Denied Feel free to give it more thought and re-suggest something similar

Anonimity System In a shift to slightly more roleplay than what our server offered previously, I thought a great addition would be the omitting of players' names - preventing metagaming UNLESS a player is literally hacking on the server, which thankfully we have the technology to check if the day comes US players cannot see AFG players' names while roleplaying on the server, and vise versa. This in theory will allow for much better executed infiltration missions, as I may add the possibility for spies to take on fake identities in the future POV: A US soldier looking at a US and AFG player Increased visible name radius by 50% since it'll now be alleviated due to not seeing another nations' names Class Corrections Inter-Services Intelligence All secondaries have been set to an SR-1M (previously Tokarev) ISI : Vanguard Added to Afghan "U" Team chat ISI : Officer Added as a war participant class - will no longer take team damage Taliban Army : LMG Riot shield added onto loadout Taliban Army : Insurgent Nitro grenade has been added to the class' loadout! Accept my apology Players are now able to utilize the command /mug when playing on either a custom class or a raiding class (Thief, Venom, Franklin, etc) Attempting to /mug another player will display a notification on their screen, informing them of being mugged and the amount and they have 10 seconds to respond - if accepted, the transaction will complete automatically, if declined, the mugging player may kill the player being mugged. An automatic 10 minute cooldown will apply! Keypads Owners of keypads can now insta-open their keypads by pressing "E" on them, removing the necessity to insert a code! In the future, this could be applied to party members if popular! Security Guard Similarly to a Mercenary, Security Guards may now be hired by other players! Players may look at security guards and utilize the command /security in order to hire them! At a base price of $2,500, Security Guards may choose to accept or decline this offer. Upon doing so, they will be binded to their client, until their time of disconnect. Together you can create new synergized items: Rock Paper Scissors Players can now bid against the server playing Rock, Paper, Scissors and win games at a 50% odd! (yes rock paper scissors is infact a 50% odd, you do not lose money for ties) Command usage: /rps [BID] [r/p/s] Upon winning, you would have won 50% of your original bet, IE: 50k will be made off of a 100k bid. Larger bids will print to the entire server for flexing purposes (or crying purposes) Current allowed bid amounts are between 25,000 and 1,000,000 This may be increased with demand edit: already revised the max bet to 10m Pointshop Due to a lack of popularity and the inability for some players' computers to handle Pointshop's high polygon count models, we have unfortunately decided to remove the Pointshop from our DarkRP server. Pointshop may return in the future if we are able to recuperate enough funds in order to pay a modeler to compress models. No refunds will be given, as @Proggy and @stretchy did not deem them necessary. Administration Staff On Duty can now spawn props Setmodel command has been added for Managers+ Managers+ can now remove keypads, textscreens, and lights Staff who utilize removeprop will no longer have a message print to chat when the trace fails Instead, the following notification will pop up Director rank has permission to VIP items in the vending machines Added some quality of life to sits, The server will now keep track of whether or not a player is currently handling a sit, and if so, the secondary panel of an incoming report will be off-set lower

While what you did was incredibly unfortunate, I will at the very least admire you for handling the situation maturely, and accepting your punishment (part of which was to deal with this promotion post - seeing as myself and Proggy did not have the patience to). I wish you the best in the future, next time, please don't force-feed players whom are raiding you OR you are raiding with spoiled meat as to gain an advantage in PVP.

Server Recruits In addition to the Clone Trooper : Rifleman, which will be reserved for disruptive members who cannot be part of neither 212th or 501st, I had followed up to a very smart suggestion by @AlexConway to revert our server to an older system under which recruits could choose between 212th or 501st as their entry faction Upon completing /quiz, the following prompt will pop up! Secure Communications Members of Special OPs aswell as Navy will now be able to utilize the command /sc (or /SecureCommunications) in order to encrypt their voice when transmitting audio locally to other players on the server. Between members connected to the same channel of communications, microphones will be heard clearly, however, for all others, they will hear a very distorted chatter. Message Spacing Added a little bit extra spaces between chat prefixes due to cluttering Above is the before, below is after; it's a very slight change that might help when there's alot going on in chat Prefixes Recreated the chat prefix system to integrate it with DarkRP's code, allowing for usergroup tags to be placed AFTER the channel of communications used, prioritizing users being able to quickly identify what communication channel is being used Chat Colors With chat channel prefixes being moved to the beginning of each messages, they will also be color-coded for ease of understanding Gamemaster Unbreakable Tool Very quickly this was deemed an unnecessary feature, instead, I had made wooden props breakable, and GMs are to spawn them as they wish - please do avoid the spam of gibs! NPC Targeting System Revision NPCs that are damaged by players will begin targeting them, no matter the distance of engagement, this way players can no longer get cheap shots on NPCs from across the map Before For context, this man was just merked. I spat on him, literally. I spawned him in with 1,000 health and damaged him down to 50, but he could give two fucks less. He's just chilling with his E5 looking at the beautiful terrain of rp_anaxes_garnet_beta After For context, I had just ENRAGED this droid. I shot him once and he fucking spotted me from a reason distance of the damn map and fucked me up

  17. I am spending an hour or two today looking over re-implementing /r or /squad to make sure it works. When it comes to Halos, it seemed to not be worth the amount of effort required to implement it properly. FPS loss is absolutely obscene and wouldn't be viable for well over half our server when the server is populated.

As of right now, these are the available channels one can join: Defusable Bombs A use for our upcoming Bomb-Specialist Certification! Directly ripped off and ported from our SWRP server: During events, GMs may now place/give out C4 entities to event characters in order to be planted; or simply planted themselves. Planted C4s can have varying times (WIP) - locked to 5 minutes at this time Regular players will have a 10% chance to succesfully defuse the bomb, with a further rarity of outright causing an explosion due to cutting the wrong wire. Bomb-Specialist certified players will soon have a 95% chance to defuse a bomb in 5 seconds

Weaponry Modular Weapon System I had made heavy modifications to our weapon base to allow weapon variant subgroups, IE: instead of turning an AR-15 into an M4 by only allowing you to use certain attachments, I have made it to where by code, certain bodygroups are enforced, while others are optional.
