  1. DENIED Unfortunately there's insufficient evidence submitted in this report for me to take any further action. If you manage to find the information / evidence as listed above, please feel free to submit another forum report and we'll gladly assist you. However due to lack of evidence and inactivity, this post will be locked and moved.

DENIED This idea lacks community support and is not something we wish to change at this time.
  3. DENIED This is not something that we are looking to implement at this time. You are more than welcome to become the Mayor and build inside of the PD if you wish, but there should realistically only be one person who can for a variety of reasons (point of contact for fail base reports, enforcing prop-limits, avoid disputes about what people want to build, etc).
  4. DENIED The hobo class is already popular as it stands, and any changes are unnecessary. There is no real reason for a hobo to need a weapon other than to defend themselves, and arguably, there's few legitimate situations in which a hobo would need to defend themselves given that they are immune to being mugged or raided etc. There's a lot of other classes in which you are welcome to use a weapon larger than a pistol, and those classes would likely give much more reason to need a weapon too.
  5. Hi there@Olimar When it comes to scamming, typically we need to prove that an agreement was made between both parties, with evidence to prove that the agreement was broken, and when the party at fault is offered a chance to rectify the issue, they either refuse or ignore the request. If you report someone in game, we are often able to check many of these areas, including the servers logs to show the time at which they had bought the printers (to sell to you) and the time they logged off at, so when we combine that with evidence of the agreement (e.g. a clip or screenshot of them saying "I'll sell you my printers for 8 hours for $1M"), we can tie everything together and reach a conclusion in-game. We always try to allow them a chance to rectify the issue in-game where possible, before taking further action. This may be by way of messaging them on discord or waiting for a while to see if they return. However, as this report isn't in-game, we would need you to provide your own evidence in these areas to support your report of scamming. To be more specific, we would need: - Evidence of the agreement (clip / screenshot of the transaction and what was agreed) - Evidence of how long you had the printers before they logged off, to prove the agreement was broken - If the agreement was broken, evidence to show they were given the opportunity to rectify the issue but refused or ignored you (e.g a discord message) - SteamID's for both players to issue punishments Please could you let us know if you are able to provide the evidence listed above? As it currently stands, there isn't enough evidence here to show a complete picture of the situation
  6. ACCEPTED As shown in the clip, this player did indeed spawn no-collide props into the game. The no-collide tool is restricted on the server, and so the only way to spawn them in is by exploiting other tools in the game. This is not the first time this player has been spoken to about this exploit either, myself and other higher-ups have spoken to him before on multiple occasions. As per the DarkRP server rules: https://forums.garnetgaming.net/index.php?/topic/19909-darkrp-server-rules/ Street Jesus will be banned for 1 week for exploiting.
  7. ACCEPTED One of our admins reached out to me to say that they are waiting for the staff member who requested the ban to respond here with their evidence before they are able to proceed on making a decision. I decided to investigate this myself and I spoke to the staff members involved, however nobody seems to want to take ownership of requesting this ban. As a result, your ban will be removed. I'd like to apologise on behalf of the team for the way this has been handled and I will be making an announcement in the team regarding this, to ensure it won't happen again.
  8. DENIED Unfortunately you don't meet the minimum requirements of 72 hours of playtime, so I will have to deny your application for now. Feel free to reapply once you have though! I would also suggest having another read through the staff rules just to make sure there's nothing you might have missed, and remember that you should write a minimum of 2 paragraphs for the question Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs] Please do not reuse this application on your next one
  9. I'm just glad that Garnet added limits to the wager. I tried putting 50M on it before I realised it was limited to 10M, which was lucky for me because I only lost that much instead lmao
  10. Congrats guys! It's been a fantastic month and I'm loving our Rust servers, they have been an absolute blast! Sorry you hear about your ban @tdizzalthough I did let you use my Steam account to try something, what was it? (edit) Got me banned you stinky
  11. Congratulations to everyone who's worked hard keeping the server as awesome as ever! I've seen some wonderful examples of staff helping people in our community this month, you guys are awesome. A massive well done to our MVP's X12, Hama, and Wub! You guys are nailing it with those massive sit counts, top job! To anyone who hasn't quite met the mark this month, remember that we'll always be happy to help you however we can to succeed. If you ever have any questions, please do reach out for some support and we'd be more than willing to help. If you know what you need to do then remember that a new month is full of new possibilities, only you can take the action needed and I have every faith that everyone here is capable of achieving their goals. Here's to another month, cheers!
  12. +1 I have spoken with you a few times in game and you have always been chilled and kind to myself and others. You have no previous bans which is great, and a couple of warns (just try to improve on what ever has caused them). It's important to make sure you're mature as a staff member, especially when handling reports but I hope that you'll be able to stay level-headed in these situations so be sure to do your best to take on board any criticism as a constructive way to improve, as I think you have the right mindset to be a great staff member if you put your mind to it. Best of luck mate!
  13. DENIED Frankly, I would have denied this just for the fact that it's a meme appeal, I see no reason for our admins to waste their time by entertaining posts like these. With that said, thank you @IAmCam for a professional response despite the circumstances. The ban will remain, and I'll be issuing you with a permanent forum warn for shit-posting in reports and appeals as this isn't the first time you've done so. If you choose to continue, with each forum warn there will come a point where you'll be unable to post anymore or submit ban appeals so please bare that in mind.
  14. OVERRULED - (DENIED) Prop-climbing is against the rules, and the rule Hama has quoted is listed specifically for the Hobo's job. You may not spawn props randomly around the map, they must be part of your hut. You admitted to building the stairs just to climb onto the roof of a building (prop-climbing), these props were not part of a hut. Your warn will remain.
  15. +1 Confirming my referral. MoonDoge has proven himself to be a fantastic staff member, and he joined the team not long before I did and worked his way up the ranks quickly, getting staff of the month and working up to an admin I believe from memory? He actually helped me when I was a new staff member with any questions I had, and was always a good laugh and chilled guy to chat to. Like myself, he lives in the UK (GMT timezone) and can really help during the low-pop hours when less staff are online, in fact just this morning he let me know of a couple of issues on the server so I could hop on and take care of things, which is when I suggested he should re-apply. He has a clean record and I don't ever remember him causing any issues, in fact quite the opposite, he'd always help new players who joined. I think he'd make a great addition to the team and I'm really glad he's applied! Best of luck mate
  16. Hi there Mehdi.fatmi, You were reported by a player named Tahu for RDM initially, and when speaking to both of you, he clarified that you'd actually killed him twice. He said the first time you just came up to him and shot him with a shotgun and the second time you sniped him out of nowhere. While I checked the logs, your response to this was "he's right" followed by "I don't think it's necessary to check logs, can I just have a warning or a jail". However, having seen the kill logs I'd noticed that you'd killed others too, and so I asked you why you'd killed so many people? Your response to this was "well I got this new sniper and I wanted to test it out". As a result, I explained to you that you can't go around killing random people and that because you'd killed 3+ people, it was indeed Mass RDM which comes with a 2 week ban. We had a full conversation and you had plenty of opportunity to alter your version of events, ask questions, or otherwise change your response if you wished to; but you simply admitted to killing people just so you could test your new guns, hence why I banned you for Mass RDM. (edit) Following this, I noticed you also posted in the Garnet main discord where you also admitted to killing 4 people and understood it was Mass RDM: Please see the clip below to watch the full report:
  17. Your transaction ID can be found by logging into your PayPal account. You'll want to go to 'Activity' then 'All Transactions' where you can search "Garnet" to find all of the payments you have made previously. Once you've found the transaction for the credits you purchased to buy your custom class, click on the blue "Garnet Gaming" text to view more information. Your transaction ID will be listed here. All you'll need to do then is to submit a custom class change post via the following link (I trust you have the other information already): https://forums.garnetgaming.net/index.php?/forum/272-custom-class-changes/
  18. I keep meaning to drop by the SWRP server. After seeing the amount of time and work you and the rest of the team have put into the server, it sounds pretty awesome! Just need to peel myself away from DarkRP and Rust
  19. This is a truly fantastic guide! I think this will really help a lot of people who are new to farming Just a few notes from back when I used to farm a lot: - A fully upgraded printer costs roughly $100k to buy and fully upgrade, and produces roughly $100k per hour. This means it takes 1 hour to break even, so 2 hours of farming will double your investment. - This also means the first hour is the most important, in terms of defending your base from raiders, because after that at least you'll break even worst-case - Coolers need to be replaced every 30 minutes on the dot, and when they break, you have 5 minutes to replace them before they blow up! Using a timer (like Google) really helps keep track of this. - The most efficient route to level-up for low level players (1-30) is to take very frequently from the printers, given XP doesn't carry over between levels. For example, if you're level 1 and took $200k from a printer, you'd be level 2, whereas if you took multiples of $5k you'd probably jump to level 10+ (haven't done the math to confirm exactly how high you'd go, but as an example) - When buying printers off others, price is one of many factors to consider. Are they well known amongst other farmers for being trustworthy? Are they quick to setup / drop their printers? Are they available to replace lost printers over the duration of your farming session for a fee? Will they help you place and upgrade them for an additional fee? It's always horrible getting raided! I've been there myself after going AFK for a few minutes lol. I think it's important to nail down a really good base design if you're planning on spending some time farming, and once you've built something really decent, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to defend it even without perks or donator weapons. I tested this a while ago with one of my bases, and chose to only use the HK pistol (cheapest gun to buy in the game) and it held up well. My biggest problem is going AFK though, I'd go make a coffee or make dinner and come back to no printers lmao
  20. DENIED Evidence has been submitted via DM's. Your ban will remain and considering you've just been demoted following other issues, you will also receive a permanent blacklist from the staff team.
  21. Well done everyone! Glad to have joined all of you on the team too!
  22. Congratulations to everyone who's worked hard this month to keep our favourite server as awesome as ever A big well done to our MVP's X12, Wub, and Lala Lady; you've got some crazy sit counts, thank you for your hard work! To everyone else, thank you all for your time and dedication in keeping Garnet DarkRP the best server around. When we all pull together and do our bit, we can really make an enormous difference in ensuring people have a great time here, and hopefully many more to come. If you didn't quite meet the mark, you know what you need to do to change that and we're always happy to help with guidance and advice, DM's are always open. Here's to another month, cheers
  23. I've also been consumed by Rust recently, I actually need to stop now lmao! Have fun mate
