Not only that, but I have creative ideas for events and sims that use my knowledge in building, from using destructible objects to create a R6-like breach and clear experience, to creating buildings and environments for RP. I also enjoy creating stories, and do so in my freetime. I write scripts, short stories and poems, and love to create vast, intricate plots with small details that slowly build into a large, intense experience. Currently, to my knowledge, there are no Tali gamemaster mains (very little amount of gamemasters in general.) I find it necessary that, to increase activity not only on Tali side, but US side as well, that there be more to do during peacetime. Whether that be a small PVP event, sims, or RP based event. I also like to think I'm a charismatic person, and try to have a friendly relationship with all players. Have you ever been banned or punished on any server?: I was banned for a little under a year on this server for "exploiting." I made a document detailing a glitch, which showed how to spot the glitch, etc. My intention for this document was for it to reach Garnet so he could find a possible fix, but it found itself in the hands of other people through regrettable actions. How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: I work Wednesday-Sunday, from 8am-4/5pm CST. So any time after 5 is when I would usually get on. I would be able to dedicate 2-3 hours per workday, more on Mondays and Tuesdays. In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: To create a fun, memorable time for players of the server, and to give players a reason to come back. After war, people may want to get off the server, or AFK until the next war because of the lack of things to do during peacetime. My goal as a gamemaster is to revert that, and to give people something to do for that entire hour of peacetime. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: Not only do I have extensive knowledge in using the building tools in Gmod, but I love to create interesting stories. In my freetime, I love to write, and have created several D&D campaigns to use and play with friends. My main focus in story building is to create something truly eye-opening, whether that be through intense or emotional moments, or through investigation, using problem solving, solving mysteries, cyphers, etc. Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas designed for only your side to take part in: Who's Who? (SOC FACTION) is assigned to eliminate or capture a target in a small village located in the desert of Afghanistan. They are given a brief, broad description of the target, who is among several civilians who look similar in some way. The SOC faction must use the process of elimination, through questioning and interrogating the civilians, to find the target. Shooting Contest An arms dealer has come into town, interested in the skill of the enlisted located in the afghan base. Through several tests involving the accuracy and effectiveness of a player, the arms dealer will determine who is the best among the enlisted, and reward them with a cash prizes. Cult of Cannibals! AFG base has lost contact with a nearby airfield doing reconnaissance on a nearby village occupied by flesh-eating cultists. A team is sent to airfield to discover what happened, and they uncover the base has been overrun by the cultists. The team must clear out the cultists from the airfield, then using clues uncovered from intel found on the bodies of the cultists, or intel found inside of the buildings of the airfield. The team then moves to eliminate the village of cultists. Escalation A local village affected by the ongoing war between AFG and US is fed up of being shot at, shelled, and being taken advantage of. The village gathers outside of AFG outpost, and demands an appearance from the army based nearby. Once Tali shows up, they can choose to try and deescalate the protestors aggression, or try to take them out. Upon failure of negotiations, or once Tali opens fire on the protestors, an even larger group of villagers ambush the Tali, opening fire with AK's, etc. Tali must survive the onslaught from the angry villagers, and retreat back home. R&R Tali has just been severely beat in war, or has manhandled the enemy. Either or, Tali needs a little R&R from how difficult and frustrating war can be. A small camp is set up where Tali can socialize, request their favorite songs to be played, and play games. Please list and explain 3 unique global event idea designed for the entire server to take part in: The Olympics Through a bizarre attempt to increase relations between AFG and US, a mock-Olympics event is set-up. The two sides compete in different categories, parkour, PVP, etc. for gold medals. Gold medal winners get cash prizes, while the side with the most gold medals wins the event overall. Asylum A well-known and extremely wanted terrorist is hiding out in TC. While being hunted down by the US, he contacted AFG for asylum from the US inside of their base, at the cost of the US pinpointing his location through his radio communications. In a race against time and the opposing side, AFG and US race to the terrorist. The terrorist MUST be captured and brought back to the capturer's base. From there, the opposing side can raid the capturer in the hopes to regain access to the terrorist. Redirection Warfare Through a freak accident, a missile is fired from US base towards a small, innocent village. US must race to AS to reach external missile controls to blow up the missile mid-air, or redirect it to a different target. Seeing an opportunity, Tali races to AS as well to redirect the missile back to US base, or some other target. The side hacking into the missile from AS must fend off from an endless onslaught from the opposing force. Once one side has hacked into the missile enough before the time limit, they can choose where to send the missile or to detonate it mid-air.
  3. XP System Rework / Prestige Shop Description & Reasoning: Leveling & XP: Being an avid player of MRP, I've heard numerous complaints, and even had complaints myself, about the XP system. I've heard people say "It's too slow to level up," or "There's no incentive to do anything to get XP." My aim with this suggestion is to fix that, with faster leveling, new ways to get XP, and incentive to gain XP, level up and purchase prestige. The current ways to gain XP are through capping objectives during war, unscrambling words in chat, and passive XP. Here are the new ways of getting XP that seem fair to me and others I have spoken to about this issue: Defib / Reviving | Kills (On cap) | Kills (Off cap)(Less XP than on OBJ) | Killing NPCs (encourages more events) | Decapping OBJ | Staying on OBJ/Cap (encourages *not* basecamping) Passive XP should also see an increase/buff, so that staying on the server AFK overnight, etc. becomes a more viable strategy to gain XP and level up. This also would increase player count, as more people will go AFK, making the server look more appealing to a new player searching through the server browser. I, and many others, feel it should be not only easier to gain XP, but for it to be much faster to level up. Decreasing the amount of XP it takes to level up, and making new ways of gaining XP are some of the ways to fix this issue. Becoming aware of the score system that is currently being worked on (Thanks, Theos), the phrase "XP" can be traded out for score, and the amount of XP/score changed, if this suggestion conflicts with a system that's already being worked out (some points could just be voided altogether, but my main point of buffing XP, etc. still stands.) Prestige Tokens & Shop: Prestige levels themselves shouldn't be a sign of experience or vet status, but should be something a player looks forward to. It shouldn't be a waste of money to buy Rebirth, or take several hundred hours to prestige. With this suggestion, I propose that more prestige levels are added, and for Prestiging to award the player with a Prestige Token (PT). PTs are gained, again, through Prestiging (1 per Prestige). These would be used in a newly added "Prestige Shop," accessible through the F4 menu, where the player can purchase perma weapons, such as knives, fists, etc., emotes (facepalm SWEP, etc.) and also "Prestige Classes." While perma weapons, emotes, etc. would cost just 1 PT, a Prestige Class would cost more for balance reasons. These "Prestige Classes" are similar to Dono WLs in a sense that, it's not a second life, but a WL that the player can purchase and play on, according to their playstyle. The three prestige classes, which work for three different playstyles, are: Prestige Medic: IFAK, Defibs, Pistol, SMG | Prestige Sniper: Pistol, Sniper | Prestige Assault: Pistol, AR Conclusion: In conclusion, the XP system needs either a rework or buff. Even if some of these parts do not sound appealing, such as certain aspects of the Prestige Shop, ways to gain XP, etc. the main points of making it easier to level up, and creating incentive to level up and prestige still stands. Most of the aspects of this suggestion are just fun little ideas to play with, so please, nitpick, and give feedback, just do remember the main idea. Thank you for your time.

At the time of the ban, I sat down on a ledge next to the Tali front gate, tabbed out, and resumed writing a story i've been working on. I left the room to grab some water, came back, and checked on my status in Gmod, curious if i had been killed by the afk timer. when i tabbed back in I was banned. it was during peacetime. I've noticed while running around, knifing the air while talking to people on TS, i'll knife somebody totally invisible (the bot.) If what it does is collect data over time, then I'm sure that has something to do with it. I haven't played Gmod in 2-3 months, let alone any multiplayer FPS. I've been enjoying my time on singleplayer RPGs. ong this bot sucks, too many people are suffering from this issue.

  6. +1 amazing idea. the disguiser tool, wrench, breaching charge, lockpick, and sticky grenades could help a lot in RP scenarios, raids, and increasing the balance in war.

    GRU Model Change

    You may not have an issue, but a lot of other people do I've seen it and complained about it myself, GRU models have some nasty headglitches for sniping, but CQC combat is fine for the most part. Not sure which you're talking about, though. As for the file size, the suggestion itself still stands, might need to find some different models, though.

    GRU Model Change

    Description: As GRU PKN, I have received numerous private messages, reports, etc. about the height of the GRU models. The current GRU models are currently shorter than every single other model on the server, making it, whether intentional or not, unfairly easy to headglitch. This was a problem on Omega, but now, on Delta, it has become a serious issue. On the newly added hills, the current GRU models are virtually invisible to the naked eye when headglitching. Silo, for example, has hills surrounding the OBJ. I have seen recordings, screenshots, etc. of GRU models totally invisible, and sniping people inside the Silo tower. They are impossible to hit and spot, and are unfair to the enemy. Reasoning: Changing the current GRU models would benefit the server by removing an unfair model from a relatively easy-to-access SOC faction. Like an overpowered gun, the GRU models have the ability to change the tide of the war, and sniping without being spotted, or counter-sniped, is ridiculously easy. Additional Information: I suppose that the GRU models be changed to a Battlefield 3-ish type skin, similar to the Alpha models. The models I currently have picked out do NOT fold, are not 5'5", and from my knowledge, have no overpowered hitbox. The models (front & back) are shown below.   10. RP Name: Ritzu Why I want to join: Wanna see the new map, explore around, need to edit some docs i made for GRU that revolve around the map and objectives. Omega had way too many glitch spots and places to cap objs from that made no sense. Been active on GRU for the past 3-4 weeks every single day and just want to participate in making GRU and the server better
