  1. Description: Acts similar to a spiderman gun from DarkRP, is a tool that would allow players to ascend/descend at a controlled speed,

before hopping into the helicopter you attach it via "LMB" then enter the helicopter. After entering you can have a pilot hover over top of

the operation area, exit the vehicle and use "ALT" to descend slow or "CTRL" to descend fast. If you were to use it on a larger scale building

such as castle you'd be able to scale down the sides or if you were to ascend, you'd use the "SPACE" key, at ground level you press "ALT+E"

    to detatch the wire.

Reasoning: It provides a realistic way to leave a  helicopter mid operation, adds in new ways to manuver when doing faction/SOC specific entries,

and can add a bit more to potential BnC trainings. When raiding via air transport, most times we have to hover and hope players don't get stuck

inside the helicopter, making the soldiers easy picking for snipers/elites/standard soldiers. I checked out the addon with @Reynolds to get his

opinion, he had a take on it that will be talked on below in the next section. Videos are provided on the addon link, using a helicopter that's from

the current LVS addon we use.

Additional Information: When testing it was found to be abusable if used outside peacetime / ie war, can be used to climb walls. (After reynolds tested

    it)

  2. Description:

These are two addons that would work together, one being a entity while the other is a special set of tools that require time & effort to utilize to the fullest. Wire mod amongst it's many tools allows for GMs/staff to create their own prop vehicles, a bit of E2 (expressions - code) for customizable tanks, helicopters, & more. It can work in unison with the gTerminal addon, the standard entities of Garry's Mod, and entities that utilize the interaction properties. The Emplacement entity can utilize the wire mod addon, with it's model can be changed to more detailed gun models, with utilization for some quite fancy RP events. Putting here as well for the individual addon that ties gTerminal & Wire Mod together.

    Reasoning:

Both provide a variety of use, from strongholds to vehicles, creating a technical aspect that can fulfill where some tools aren't able to recreate. With how the gTerminal works, creation of a network could allow for an officer to activate a motion sensor that works as a tracking AA gun / raid defense, through a variety of code prepared for use. Vehicles such as tanks can be created using the vehicle controller/exit, with an emplacement controlled via the 2nd seater, main barrel 3rd seater, & 1st seater being the driver. There's all 3 addons in this as I know it'd be plenty just with these 3 alone to implement on the server, along with checking for the loops that come with the tool. Of course it'll increase load in time, I will highly recommend checking each addon out even if not added, it's a great tool to learn.

  3. I had found a issue from nearby cars that essentially does the exhaust error you get when first loading in, and instead of stopping, it persists till ya crash. I'll grab a medal of it in a sec or at least a screenshot of it, and it happened during the tourny for some reason.

  4. Description: An LVS Addon that provides 10 helicopters with individual loadouts to provide variety for events (both RP & OOC), file size is 126.778 MB, and could work in conjunction with the parachute addon.

Reasoning: Ideally this would provide more RP situation material with Soviet & US Helicopters, rather than just the “russian school bus” helicopter from the current base LVS addon. If we want to do an aerial assault then we could, over welding turrets with a VJ base spawner to the current LVS, in hopes it works fine. (Usually the turrets bug out, or accidentally kill friendlies.)

Additionally, this can make a convoy/assault event more intense due to not only ground but a well armed air unit flying overhead to defend/attack the opposing side, following that it’s within RP to engage the units. Having flown each of the helicopters & using our current ones for RP events, it’ll greatly improve our current amount of assets within Task Force activities (USASOC) & AFGSOC, an example being to retrieve a black box from a Mi-24 Soviet helicopter that’s still armed.

Ideally due to the fire power each one packs, a GM+ / T.Admin+ should be observing during the event, or to give the green light. As cool as they are, there will need to be limitations, in order to avoid potential MRDM & Server Crashes.

  5. 53 minutes ago, Dillan said:

()- let's go back to classic reserves, really go back. Let's allow factions to decide their own standards for reserves, and the rank they wish to cap at reserves. Less overarching, and more autonomy.

Worked for years untill changed, and since that change reserves were a pet project of management teams.

Constant removal, return, removal, return. Autonomy could breath some life into the reserves programs.

This is just an opinion and thinking outside of the box.

Tbh I agree with Dillan, on his opinion. If left to the factions, which do have people with pretty much nothing to do other than war and tryouts, it wouldn't hurt having them maintain the documentation of their reserve rosters. It'd make SOCs and base factions check in, reach out and reevaluate their reserved officer core. Still based on this opinion to a degree.

  6. Putting a 0, here as I know you have been working on it and waiting for the next date to apply after your initial application was denied. As @Towelieeehas put there's copy and paste from the denied prior application. If you wouldn't mind it, I'd like to see a break down of your more complex events such as: CoD zombies and Document Retrieval. Based off your current skills, knowledge of sandbox tools and how the overall ideal goal for players would realistically be met.

  7. I do agree with the L115 being better than the AFG Sniper, it can be very finicky on whether or not your shot hits. The Marksman for AFG is oddly enough a bit better to my experience and can kill much easier. If we are to make the tryout empathize more techniques in tryouts, @Joe1I'm gonna up the difficulty further so players are taught to look at surroundings and expect a head glitching sniper or 3 of them.
