  1. PARTIALLY ACCEPTED Thank you for your appeal. After a careful review by our Operator Division, we have decided to remove/lift your ban. The decision to remove your ban and accept your appeal is due, but not limited to, the following: Your appeal has been partially accepted after review from both sides. There was evidence to show that Mass RDM occurred; however, it may not have been intentional. Do not hesitate to place a report against someone for any reason. Even if you have a question, place a report. If you see someone breaking the rules, report it. I can assure you that the Staff member did not let the reporting player decide the outcome. The outcome was based on facts from the logs shown as listed above. It is up to the Staff member to use their discretion to issue punishment as you received. I will be accounting for the time you have already served and reduce it to six (6) days from what would normally be 1 Week for Unintentional Mass RDM. Thank you for your appeal and we hope to see you in game!
  2. UNDER REVIEW Thank you for your appeal. Please allow up to 24-48 hours for a response from a member of the Operator Division. As well as allowing a reasonable timeframe to gather the facts pertaining to your ban. Please note, bans will only be appealed if they are of a false nature, incorrect reasoning, and in some cases mishandling of sit/report/ban.
  3. Some of the props are on the blacklist for different reasons. I won't name which ones in the event that someone will use it for harm, but there are more than a few on that list that can used for exploiting or lagging the hell out of the server. I do agree that some props should be re-added and could be considered safe for use. I do not agree with the current list, but an update is definitely needed. Neutral
  4. This is the last time I will respond; Obviously that is not what we're looking for.
  5. Right here, in your application, it asks you to read the rules. It's up to you to find out what they're talking about.
  6. I agree. Ever since I joined the server, I began grinding for cosmetics and completing the daily rewards to earn extra points to afford the items I wanted. Unfortunately, the daily points reward system has been gone for nearly a year now, and there are many cosmetics that are nearly unobtainable due to the sheer amount of points that are required to buy them. I think trails would be a good addition, but it needs to come with an update old system to earn those points so we can afford said new items. As weird as it sounds, I don't think we should discount an improved pointshop and ways to earn the points, players WILL stay and grind just to make their player models look cool or wacky. Players strive to follow trends or match other clan members and this would be a good way to do it. The number of players I've seen endlessly grind on a Deathrun server back in the day, just to afford a hat or a trail, was insane. 100% I'm in, just need some improvements with it. +1
  7. UNDER REVIEW Thank you for your appeal. Please allow up to 24-48 hours for a response from a member of the Operator Division. 8. Please follow this format linked below or you appeal will not be processed:
  9. DENIED After careful review of your appeal and the events pertaining/leading up to your ban. We regretfully inform you that your request for an appeal of your ban has been denied at this time. This is mostly but may not be limited to the following reasons: I have received evidence showing that your ban was not false in nature, and thus will not be lifted since it was justified. You attempted to evade the ban on multiple accounts following your initial ban, you will be permanently banned for ban evasion on this account as well. Please take your racism and toxicity elsewhere. Thank you for attempting an appeal, as well as the effort you have put into your appeal.
  10. Great work everyone! A lot of you worked extremely hard. Here's to another great month!
  11. This is to entice roleplay even during a boring situation. If someone gets arrested, then the Officers should be able to keep the convicts at bay with their job's weapons and equipment pretty easily. Civil Protection would then be able to utilize their stunstick in a more desired roleplay scenario and arrest fleeing prisoners who try to escape from their cells. I think it would add a touch or realism to the part where it becomes more difficult the more prisoners you have, such that in this case, it will become harder because more will try to work together to lockpick the doors, shank officers, and escape with more laws that are implemented. Overall, it adds features to the game that would not demoralise players from playing after they get arrested.
  12. I think it would be beneficial to add a bit of spice to the experience of being a prisoner. I'm guilty of having my gun out while there are laws against it, or breaking another simple rule that the Mayor instates. My biggest gripe is that once I'm in prison, there really is no way to escape. Yes, you do spawn with a lockpick sometimes, but more often than not, you don't spawn with one. I suggest that we implement a "shady prisoner" NPC of some sort in the jail that allows you to buy a "Makeshift Lockpick" (or regular lockpick if we're being lazy). The price could be a bit more due to it being in prison and aspect of materials being harder to get in jail. As I'm writing this, I realize that maybe prisoners could buy multiple items from said NPC, like a shank or some other prison paraphernalia to help them escape or simply RP as a prisoner (ie, using drugs to gain more HP or speed but with vision modifiers). Having these items would add to the roleplay experience and make it more exciting for those who are imprisoned by giving them an opportunity to escape if they choose to take that path. I think we can all agree that being in a locked cell with no way for a party member to pay bail or lockpick your way out is pretty boring. I think the Civil Protection would also enjoy this change being that they have to watch the cells properly, and the Warden could perform duties such as their job title suggests (being the Warden of the jail). Simple terms: Add an NPC in jail to buy prison paraphernalia such as lockpicks, shanks to stab your way out that do less damage, and overall increase the odds of escape and promote multiple prisoners to riot and escape their cells.
  13. I agree it probably should have a command, but the simple answer is to fix the existing system, which allows you to 1. See your playermodel in the preview upon clicking the job and 2. Click through which model you want. A command is great, but the preview is awesome when it works as intended. I have no issues with a command being added either so I'm Neutral.
  14. I think it matches the current theme of adding extra jobs for players to use. I don't have too much to add to this, a simple positive addition. +1
  15. I want and I think you should follow the format needed to apply for Staff: Please be sure to read over the Staff Rules as well:

    ban appeal

I used a SteamID Lookup tool to find the SteamID to the account you provided and found it to be STEAM_0:0:517445940. I do not see any results for this SteamID in our bans database. I will warn you that your ban will likely not be overturned for a few reasons you provided; You have placed an appeal outside of the 30-Day appeal timeframe, It states that you were Text Screen Exploiting (If that is the case, exploiting is a permanent ban), and lastly - Appeals are only accepted if they are false in nature. With that being said, Good luck!

    Ban Appeal

Hi, @cruciform, an Operator will review your appeal shortly but I would like to take a moment to make this crystal clear; we do not show favoritism towards donators vs. regular non-donators on this server. Just because you paid money for in-game items does not change our image towards those making reports or appeals in-game. All reports and appeals are deemed equal and are based off of evidence such as screenshots, videos, and factual accounts of what transpired.
  18. @Chawhead
  19. @skwrl I would highly recommend reading the format and use Paragraphs where it asks. As of now you are not following the format. Thank you and good luck

  21. The main goal is to not make everyone's experience worse. What was suggested arguably adds more ability for players to minge, meaning more of the community has a hard time interacting with each other. This means that staff are more involved and there is less ropeplay happening. I do not understand your concerns about the PD being "vulnerable". As I stated earlier, there has to be 5 Civil Protection before any criminal job can raid the vault. Also, you haven't explained WHY there couldn't be a Mayor, why could someone not be a Mayor? Level 50 isn't that hard to obtain and there are other jobs within Civil Protection that already allow you the ability to build in the PD. If you elaborate more on these topics it would make it easier to understand where you're coming from.
  22. If you don't want to build as Mayor then why become Mayor? Also, why would a Mayor not be able to build? They can put down a building sign just the same as everyone else. As for some additional information, there has to be 5 or more Civil Protection online to even allow for a PD Vault raid, and at that point, it's likely that there would already be a Mayor. Doors would probably stay the same since they already do everything you described. Jail cells are also fine because if you want to build inside the jail area, just become a Warden. There are too many downsides with this suggestion, and I cannot agree with the building rules you are describing. In my opinion, there are too many loopholes for minges to take advantage of. -1
  23. I saw @big guy's post about police needing more things to do to gain XP and got to thinking. One major duty that Police do is patrol around the city looking for crime. I think that it would be beneficial to add a similar aspect to the Civil Protection jobs. My idea of how it would work is re-using the deliveryman system where the job has to go around to different markers on the map to complete their "patrol". It would be easy enough to make the radio that Civil Protection already has be the SWEP that initiates the patrol. Upon completion, the Civil Protection would have scanned the area for any violations of the current laws and earned a bit of money/exp for being vigilant.
  24. +1 I'm all for this, sounds like it would have been part of the initial plan but maybe it was forgotten. Anyways, I agree with @Errol in the way the Chef can already do this, only makes sense to add it to these jobs too.
  25. +1 Seems like a good item to add, could be more customizable than printers too.
