I have been part of this server for almost a year now, I have put it and the community before a lot of things in my life. I changed my sleep schedule so I could be awake for the peek hours when I was most needed. I would stay up all night and all day helping everyone on the server until I felt I could leave for bed. My routine was sleep, garnet, sleep, garnet and so on. I spent months working hard to get to L.Admin and I spent more then enough time helping other people. I have put in a lot more effort then I should ever of done because I genuinely enjoy the people and the server. I have stayed out of all dramas and have been more then friendly to people I don't exactly get along with on the server. And now to think that while I am dealing with personal matters that I for once didn't put below the server I get banned for ill intent, is beyond me. Yes I was a helping hand towards Ioms server, no I was not staffing. I was there to be a second pair of eyes, my job was to give my opinion only. I did not write the rules, I did not create the forms and I haven't even joined his server yet. I was there to do things ioms asked me to, post things on his forms that he told me to when he didn't have the time. So I can comfortably say the plagiarism isn't something I have I done. I think that there's a lot of people on the server who can back me up and say that I have done nothing but help this server and I have no ill intents. I have followed the rules extensively and my last warn was months ago when I first joined. I joined HR to help people get trained because at that time there was a long wait. I joined Game Masters so I could make the server even better for people even if I didn't exactly have the time for it. I even joined MRP so I could fully get a feel for the server and MRP is something I really did not enjoy but I went there so I could get to know the people who play with in the same community as me. Garnet Gaming was the very first server that I ever played on. Since March when I first joined I haven't been on other servers because I have been so committed to this one. I honestly don't know how can I stress enough the love that I have for the server. I would never do anything to harm it because I feel like the people here have slowly become a real important part of my life and I very much care about everyone. So why on earth would I want to ruin the place that I spent everyday on? The plagiarism is not something I can really prove I didn't do I suppose. All I can say is that I didn't write anything on Ioms forums. By this I mean his rules, he wrote his rules with other people he had hired to work on the server. I spent very little time helping Ioms because I busy dealing with my personal matters. I have very little involvement with Ioms server so it confuses me when I get texts tell me that my involvement with the server has got me in trouble. I know appealing this ban may not go the way I want it to and honestly Im not at all prepared to leave the community. I don't know what ill be doing if stay banned and Im sure I wont be on gmod. I would really like to talk to Garnet over a call sometime if at all possible to discuss everything. I would really like to stay part of the server.

I fully agree, 13 year olds are not even close to mature enough and I don't like working along side them in all honesty. No offence to the kiddos but like theres very rare cases where a 13 year old with 24 hours is actually decent. They are increasingly hard to train, don't care about the server and are easily manipulated by other people (staff or normal players) Its so easy to change the opinion of a 13 year old compared to someone who is 16+. At 13 you're still a little kid, we shouldn't be putting responsibilities on them unless we know for sure that they can handle it.

Idk bro, you have been a good staff member but its a real pet peeve for me when people say, "I should be staff because I was a good staff before I left" Yes I know you were a good staff member and I would love you on the team again, I really would. Buuuuttttt you app is really bad. I expected more from a past staff member and I know its hard to rewrite a new staff app but I think you're fully capable of doin so. -1 I understand how people feel but I am going to be blunt here. personally I feel if you can not do a decent staff app you're not fit for staff. You have no effort in your app and the fact that you have a good referral means nothing when you cant produce something people are impressed by. You have had more then enough time to rework your app and usually I would just given u a straight -1 for that reason alone. When you are referred, that person believes that you are not only fit for staff but that you will make a good app. If I was TAG I would be embarrassed by your application. You have missed out half of the format. Even if you only answer no, it is better to stick to a format that is given to you. The format is not a guide line, it is how you are supposed to do it. I have no issues with you personally and I believe we have met before and you're pretty decent. But in game attitude should not be a sole reason you get staff. Please make a better app, beef up your paragraphs, talk about your RDA warn and just say more about your time on the server. I want to give you a plus one but with this app I just cant. (Besides HR of course) I would really like see more events and maybe set dates for events. Like every week on Monday there's an event to kick off the week, and give everyone good vibes (because Mondays are the worst). I know Zach has been doing events like crazy recently and I'm loving it and I want to be part of it. While being staff, I have been involved in a large handful of the events, making sure everything runs smoothly and goes how the event planner wants it to go. This leaves me pretty confident that this is gonna be a piece of cake for me as I wont be doin something unfamiliar to me. I mostly just want to give people more to do on the server and have wholesome events that bring people together and maybe grab us some more regulars. I understand that going for straight planner seems bold, but with my past experiences in the event I feel like I can be trusted in this role. I also kind of want to pull staff only events, I suggested this when I first joined the community and people actually seemed to like the idea. I feel having little events/game nights for all members of staff to join would be a fun bonding experience. Although I know it sounds cheesy I think it'd be pretty fun. Its also a good way to make sure all the newer staff members are welcomed into the community and feel comfortable with everyone. Its not something I expect people to have to go to, so maybe just saying "oh on the 15th theres a game night for staff at this time, come and join us on csgo or horror maps in gmod or something" I'm not 100% sure if this is even an event anymore, but a talent show would be amazing. Its the only event I have yet to see be hosted in my nearly 8 months of playing on the server. Now I know it seems hard to pull off, whether its because of possible minges or the lack of people actually interested in taking part, but I'm completely up for the challenge. Honestly I love the people who come to play on gmod, they are all so weird and wonderful (slightly concerning too). I feel a talent show would bring those types of people together for an enjoyable experience. I don't think the talent show should be so much about singing and winning a large amount of money, but more just standing on a stage and making people laugh with crappy jokes or stories and so forth. Of course singing and musical instruments are obviously welcome. The talent show is never done and I feel really disappointed by that, honestly I don't see why no one hosts it. If you could make one improvement to one of the current events what would it be?: Honestly at this point all of the events are pretty set in place. They are all well done and well organised by all staff involved and I don't want to force a reason to fix one I don't believe needs fixing. But since I do have to pick one, the idea of doing a talent show really needs improving on. For an improvement I would like to suggest that if there was a reward for winning the talent night the players involved get to choose who wins, instead of having staff members as the judges. It would be a group vote from everyone so the winner feels like everyone genuinely enjoyed their performance. Another idea would be to let people use props and friends for acts and to even interact with the actual audience. There would even be an option to create art on the stage with props and so forth. Tbh the staff have improved all the events already and they have done a good damn job of it too, it makes it hard to suggest improvement so i respect the work already put into the events. Although this isn't an improvement I think that a water warfare battle royal would be a fun activity. Imagine having to swim around and watch not all left and right but up and down for enemies. You can lurk in dark corners and use rocks as cover when in battle or surface to the top and risk your life for a clearer view. I'd like do it in the back of the map by beach where the ship wreck is so that too can be used as a hiding space. It'll be harder to find guns so maybe putting hidden lights to show their locations would be easiest. There's also the idea that you could maybe have a capture the flag event where certain amounts of people will be allowed to grab the make shift flag (through being prop buddies) and the first team to kill all flag holders or to successfully deliver the enemies flag to their base wins. The roles would be a group with 5 or more flag holders and 10 or more protectors. This forces people to work as a team to make sure flag holders are able to actually get to the flag. The flag holders will be thieves for the blue team, and bounty hunters with the red team. The protectors would be citizens with blue and red shirts depending on the teams. There will be a 3 minute scout time where 1 person is chosen by the group from both teams, that will go look for the other teams flag or kill the other scout. In that 3 mins the teams will be able to make a plan of action and pick their weapons, while waiting to see if the scout returns with ideas of where the other flag is located. If you die there is no respawning, especially for the scouts. There would be a few rounds and the people with the most wins would win the whole game. The number of flag holders would change depending on how many people take part in the event. There will be small defences around the flags and where the two teams will most likely cross paths, so that there can be safety while the two teams battle and try to sneak into each others bases. Their bases can either be made by staff or placed in the already made houses, with colours from the teams that the flags represent. Perks would not be allowed but the flag holders would be allowed the shield perk (not the 300 if they are vip) and there would be one main flag holder who could have a speed boost but no shield, to insure that someone gets the flag back safely. The guns on both teams would be aks and a small amount of shots guns, while the flag holders would either also have aks or light machine guns as they are only there to retrieve and run. When a flag is stolen the staff will advert that a flag has been captured but not tell which flag, forcing both teams to go rush and check on their flags, all while still trying to steal each others. Tbh I don't like the fact that people can just reconnect and put down printers in like 15 mins, most people will leave to get printers back which is just a waste of time for everyone raiding. Ik theres a lot of mixed opinions on this topic but could there atleast be a longer time limit? It wastes the time and resources of raiders and it makes some people not want to raid at all. Plus how in any rp situation can someone just leave and their printers leave with them? Like in real life, you cant just logg out and be like "ha ha my shit gone bitch" ya know? A longer time limit I feel will make people less likely to do it just for the sake of printers/ to be annoying gremlins. It'll give people more want to raid, as i keep meeting people who don't want to raid cause they know they will just reconnect and come back in no time at all. 15 mins ain't even that long bro

Although having shields makes sense and I actually wouldn't mind it, the swat is at a pretty good standing point rn. I don't think they need a shield tho I understand why u want it. Its a good idea
