  1. fix this, then easy +1. Love the enthusiasm. Neutral for now. Recording issue is fixed! +1
  2. -1 While this does sound like a cool idea at first, I feel like it won't be nearly as fun as it might sound, for a couple of reasons: 1. Getting to Prestige 1 takes a LONG time. Granted, I've seen people go from level 1 to 78 in the span of a couple days *cough*MrLegs*Cough* but for most players getting to prestige is a long, time consuming effort that can take many weeks, if not months. Due to that time restriction, I think many players will avoid this challenege altogether 2. This challenge does not sound exciting. All it takes is for you to base with someone who has a custom class/donor weapon and you're pretty much safe. If this challenge was introduced, I know exactly what I would do: Build in some God-forsaken corner of the map, farm printers until I get to meth manufacturer, farm meth & printers until I get to crack manufacturer, then farm crack and printers until I get to level 100. That doesn't sound entertaining or exciting, as there's not much danger or action, or even interaction with other people. Other Miscellaneous Questions regarding the challenge: A. If you complete the challenge, do you keep the money and the prestige, or does it disappear? B. Couldn't people just disconnect to avoid being killed so their challenge does not reset? C. If you purchased VIP weapons/donor classes/etc. while you were in "challenge mode," would they go to your non-challenge inventory, or challenge inventory? And if they did go to your challenge inventory, would you be able to keep them once you completed/failed the challenge? D. Do arrests reset the challenge? E. If you were unjustly killed (RDM), would it be possible for a staff member to return you to previous state in the challenge, or would it be 'tough shit lol' ? TLDR: This challenge does sound pretty interesting, but I feel it is too much of a time sink and poses too many logistical issues, and won't be very entertaining either. -1 for now.
  3. Ahahahaha.... AHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! https://i.imgur.com/8V7x5Bt.gifv holy shit, i may actually try dueling again
  4. It's all good. I guess I'll just wait for someone to unban me, then.
  5. "Buff The Dlore" is obviously the kid on the left... right?
  6. What the hell is this? Stand back son, let a REAL mayor main tell you how to kick it. Just block the main doors in the Lobby. Studies show that 95% of all players will have no idea how to get into the PD, and a further 30% WILL report your for propblock. Side Door FTW Do this with EVERY class. Except Covid Spreader. If you're doing a good enough job as mayor, you shouldn't have to ask people to join you, people will join you automatically. Be charismatic & appealing so that you will get your officers to follow you. Restrict Raidtools as well. And Vapes. And Dancing. And boots. And Grenades. /lottery 150000, nuff said. 99% people will not care about taxes. Maxing them out just shows that you're a pimp and don't take shit from the lower folk. Always have your income tax <1% so you can audit anyone & everyone. If you're running mayor to the point that you cannot leave PD for fear of dying, you're doing a pretty good job. Nevertheless, walking out in public as Mayor is vital to showing people that you don't give a shit. And, if you really wanna be underhanded, sit in Proggy's Chairs. You'll be nigh-invincible. HELLL NO. Any printers, drugs & other illegal contraband should be dealt with swiftly & on sight. The people have you so that they don't have to think, you think for them. Their "ideas" are mere suggestions, at best. While I would normally agree with this, getting pestered ad nauseum by all your little policemen to "let them into the jail" or "open up PD" is infinitely more annoying than having them inside raid you. Besides, if they inside raid you, they're a bitch. Re: 2
  7. Yeah... that's my quickwant bind I'm definitely gonna change it after this though

(include any proof): I'm honestly quite confused about this. I don't remember being banned nor do I remember being ON when I got banned. As of writing this, I tried to get on only to be greeted with a ban screen, so I went to the forums to appeal. I've been sick the past couple days, so I haven't been able to be active. Update: I found a screenshot from that day, in which you can see the laws that were up. (I think I was mayor as well too, LOL) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2920473550 Here's an extra screenshot proving that it was from January 16 (the day I got banned) https://ibb.co/ZH2djpR Why should your ban be removed?: I feel like this is a case of an accidental false ban. Usually when there is a mayor with Weapons/Raidtools = AOS laws, I arrest people. My only guess on how this happened is that I was arresting people when the laws were active, but when this report was taken, the laws were no longer up & I wasn't on to defend myself. I'm quite confident that I didn't break any rules, so I'm interested in seeing Dmoney's perspective on this.
  9. -1, haven't ever seen you, which baffles me that your playtime is 879 hours (you should do /playtime) in game to get the proper message, your warns (which you can check on !warnmenu in game) and bans you haven't bothered to check, and you only have 1 paragraph.
  10. NOOOOOOO!!! THAT'S THE HAT I WAS GONNA GET!!!! AUGHHHHHHHH! L... L update.
  11. +1 I see strongside very frequently on the server, and I've never seen them minge or troll. Rather the opposite, in fact, as I have also seen them go out of there way to help new players. This would absolutely be a fantastic addition to the staff team at face value, and I feel that Strong should be trained, ASAP.

    basing rule change

-1 This will hurt new players the most. The more doors they have, the more time they have to defend themselves. Experienced players will still be able to Dragonlore you from across their base in a nigh-invisible spot be it 3, 4, or 5 doors. I do understand that raiding can be pretty difficult, but I think that that's an acceptable amount of difficulty. Also, I'll admit my bias: I was pissed as hell when the amount of fading doors you could use in PD got reduced, and I DEFINITELY don't want that happening for all my current bases.
  13. https://owl.excelsior.edu/argument-and-critical-thinking/logical-fallacies/logical-fallacies-slippery-slope Besides, m95 seems significantly more balanced, with worse noscope accuracy and lower magazine capacity. You know, like a sniper.
  14. WHAT?!? REALLY? Then why aren't more people using it, then! Oh. So it's fundamentally and objectively worse while you're on the attacking side in raids, and in non-raiding PVP. Bummer. Granted, I'm going to have to take your word for this, since I have neither tested the M95 Dragon, nor am I familiar with any aspects about it, namely the fire rate, accuracy, damage, and reload speed. That is nice to know that there's another weapon that can at the very least, possibly match the DragonLore in making Base defending braindead easy.
  15. PLEASE, just tell me the guns that have similar abilities to the Dragonlore. I'm begging you, man. If there's actually weapons that can outperform or match the dragonlore's ability, then not only would my entire reasoning be disproven, I would LOVE to know what they are. Anxiously awaiting your reply. That being said, I don't think there is any. Making unsupported claims like these really undermines your argument, but, again, I would LOVE to be proven wrong on this. So help me god, if you say the Double Barrel...
  16. The AWP and the AW50 are both Based off of the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare, but there are key differences. The AWP is chambed in 7.62x51mm or .243 Winchester, while the AW50 is chambered in .50 BMG, thus making the ballistics of the weapons entirely different. The AW50 and AWP are not the same gun. Of course you can defend bases with guns, that's like, their main purpose. But you are absolutely lying to yourself (and everyone else) if you are saying that an HK45c can defend your base at the same rate, efficiency, and ease as the DLore. The issue (as I've stated in previous posts) is that the Dragonlore beats every gun in every single category. I have tried to stray as far away from this as possible, because I feel this is an incredibly moot point. To suggest that the answer to solving the Dragonlore's balance issues is "Well, just get one yourself" just shows how polarizing the Dragonlore is as a weapon; when the most viable way to beat the Dragonlore is to own a dragonlore yourself. And on this topic as well, why do you keep bringing this up if you claim that nerfing it "only annoys those who have purchased it?" They seem like contradictory points. If the Dragonlore nerf went through, wouldn't those poor old non-donors be hurt just as badly? After all, they have "access" to the gun to. THERE ARE?!? Please tell me them, because in my 700+ hours of playing Garnet DarkRP, I have yet to find a single gun that can have a fair fight against the dragonlore. And if these weapons do exist, why then, do so many people use the Dragonlore, instead of these other similarly-statted weapons? I used the Machete as an example of a weapon that was purchasable off the Garnet Store and altered. How does removing the Machete's ability to be thrown differ to reducing the DLore's abilities? I'm sure the people who paid for the Machete knew full well what it did when they bought it, so wouldn't it be easy for me to say: If you isolate the problem, then yea, it does seem kind of silly, doesn't it? The Machete was nerfed, plain and simple. Removing the side-ability of the Machete significantly reduces it's usage, and it is now a pretty crappy melee weapon (Which is probably outperformed by the Damascus Sword and CS:GO knives). I would NEVER argue for such a neutering of the Dragonlore as the Machete got, hell I think that this suggestion out of all of them is the biggest slap on the wrist. Realistically, the only area of PVP this suggestion makes the Dragonlore "worse" in is non-raiding PVP. Defending a base will still be monumentally easy with it, and attacking a base, while possibly a bit more difficult, will not really matter if you're killing anyone 2 shots, or less. Non-Raiding PVP will be more difficult, as that is where you have the most likelihood to miss. Still, being able to kill people in 2 shots to the body won't make the Dlore unusable in those situations, and it'll still probably be one of the best weapons to use in those scenarios, as it is with all others. The fuck they are. I cannot realistically name off the top of my head a situation where I would rather have another gun than a Dragonlore. I can think of an argument being "close range," but the Dragonlore's ability to do shitfucks of damage doesn't decrease at all the closer the person you're shooting at is to you. If you can think of one, let me know, but as of now, this is just blatantly wrong. The situations the Dragonlore can be used in is literally any, and it escapes me to find a situation in which it would be "worse" than another hitscan gun. For the record, I don't think people -1'ing this are idiots. I just think the level of arguing used against the nerfs in these by anyone besides ChrisRid is stupid, because they don't argue their point at all.
  17. Shank, this is actually the most reasonable and well thought-out rebuttal to my suggestion. I appreciate this infinitely more than the other "-1 me dont want" suggestions. Thank you. I still think that I share an opinion that is shared by the silent majority when I say that the DLore needs some sort of debuff to make it actually balanced compared to other weapons. To further upon my justification for my suggestion based on reducing the ammo, while the Dragonlore AWP and the AW50 are both based on the Accuracy International Arctic Warfare, their functions are quite different, and the Dragonlore AWP is a near-mirror of the AWP from CS:GO. Thus, when CS:GO implements a change, not only does it seem justified to replicate that change, but it also seems like a justifiable nerf with reasons besides "The Gun Is Too Damn Strong."
  18. i was referring to the people who would SWAT garnet. Swatting is really fucking lame, and I wouldn't consider anyone who does it part of the "player base." That is a good point, though. When you have a topic that is consistently and routinely brought up, maybe it might give you a hint that the opinion on that topic is different than what the people who regularly use the forums say it is. These "suggestions" aren't actually rated by the player base, they're rated by the "high-class" players who regularly use and check forums. And lastly, Garnet has said he thinks its a good idea, and I think the person who would understand the pros and cons of changes would be the person who most directly benefits/loses from them.
  19. do it, fuck them nooblets "retarted" LOL. If you think that the change would be bad, then you should take it up with the people at CS:GO. ...except for the machete. Changing a donor weapon is not unheard of, especially in the sake of balance. I think the funniest part about the reaction to this suggestion is that this would in no way affect the Dragonlore's ability. You're still able to out damage everything, the fire rate hasn't been nerfed, the only thing is "oh noes! I has to reload sooner than later." And yet it's very blatant to see that the people -1'ing this are incredibly biased. I think the best way to do this would be to implement it. If people consistently complain about the change and how "awful" it is, it wouldn't be too hard to just revert the changes.
  20. Description: This is just going to be me reiterating the Title, but the concept is very simple. The Dragonlore's Magazine Capacity should be reduced from 10 rounds to 5 to match its CS:GO counterpart, the AWP, in which it is entirely based off of. Reasoning: If CS:GO itself feels that the Dragonlore/AWP needed its magazine size reduced, then it's pretty safe to say that reducing the ammo on DarkRP would both help keep the accuracy of the CS:GO weapon and improve the overall balance of the server. 21. Neutral. Feel like this could be somewhat fucked, especially in basebuilding. As much as I'd love to actually be able to fire the crossbow that I may or may not own, I feel like it's collission with props as well as the slower travel time could be used and abused by fading doors, and other stuff.
  22. Well if you say so... But really, I'm neutral on this. The mug mechanic amount is pretty fine as is, it's just one of those things that you see less than others. Increasing the amount mugged by people won't increase the likelyhood that they'll pay up, it just means that they'd be more likely to shoot you. I'm level 99 as of writing this, so you BEST BELIEVE if some thief comes up to me and tries to mug me for $99,000 I will be fighting back. Perks cost less than that.
