    ROE Addendum

First of all, whenever US leaves base, they are ALWAYS at risk of being shot at while they are outside of base doing what they do, or making there way to a claimed area, RP or not (Unless GM/Staff Enforced) Secondly, US always have their weapons out when outside of base for the aforementioned reason, although they may be afraid of traps the quickdraw clause in the rules makes being "gunned downed point-blank" not only unlikely, but also punishable if the scenario you are presenting in the sentence containing the quote were to be if US were talking to Tali face to face and one of them decides to pull out their guns and kill them. Speaking of such scenario being gunned down like that is highly unlikely due to the fact that US always having their weapons out when outside of base. The only case this would really apply to is if a Tali were to ambush them from an area they were looking in, however I doubt the Concealment clause would reasonably cover that. Speaking of which... We do this anyway. We know the US would immediately kill us if they see us with our weapons out. As our ROE is "All US outside of Base/Claimed area are KOS" I'd imagine the US ROE are along the lines of "Any Tali observed to be possessing a weapon are KOS, Otherwise they are not KOS.", This concealment clause wouldn't do anything. See, this clause is made completely unnecessary due to one simple fact: The US are the pray, Taliban are the hunters. Not only that, this clause would actually restrict roleplay and the following scenarios would not be possible if this were to be implemented. 1. Drug deals gone bad Some US soldiers wants to sell [Insert Narcotics] to some Taliban soldiers, however they find out the [Insert Narcotics] and this retaliate by starting a shootout. 2. Checkpoint inspection gone base A US soldier stops a car at a checkpoint, the driver is asked to pop open the trunk however he makes the excuse that he can't open the trunk from the drivers seat and has to unlock it with his key. He opens the trunk, pulls out a sawed off shotgun and kills the guardsman. 3. Kidnaping 3 US Soldiers are on patrol on a busy street, they are approached by 7 guys who split up to surround them and draw their weapons. Hopelessly out gunned, out numbered, and out positioned, They surrender and are captured. This is a Military Roleplay Server featuring insurgents. There are going to be gunfights and there is literally no need to restrict those gunfights outside of the quickdraw rule in anyway whatsoever.

  3. Imagine appealing a ban for cheating and use a clip that shows you aimboting lmfao
  4. I hope some of you guys know that staff does not need to take sits to ban people. just because he wasn't brought to a sit doesn't mean he is immune to being banned. Also if he was told to stop before hand and he still continues then their is no real reason to bring him to a sit other than formality. And their are plenty of people before that haven't gotten sits and where still banned, take hackers for an example. I don't get the argument that "Oh, he wasn't brought to a sit, therefor this ban was wrong" if he still did something that would have gotten him banned anyways. It is not really a good argument since the ban would've been placed either way. Buying doors in a Millitary Role Play server shouldn't even be an option but I guess it is in garnet, and it's against the rules to buy doors here. Vibe has done this before and as he has done this multiple times their is no reason it should be a FRP warn. Or maybe he DID get FRP warns and got banned for NITRP in the process, either way he broke the rules and is getting punished for it, and if he was told to stop before hand then their is no reason why he should be unbanned... -1

    Resignation

2GA is dead ya know, If i legitimately could I would honestly dissolve it. No one should inherit this faction at this moment in time.
  6. The Thing with MRP is that their isn't much to do during peacetime or on Tiga. While kill house is a thing, in my opinion it is way too long and way too complex, especially for new players. but then again, during an hour of peace time their isn't much to do either. What I would suggest is decreasing peacetime to about 50 or 40 minutes, Or incorporating an indefinite war system where players can go outside and skirmish among themselves and claiming areas is a way to not getting killed outside and such. Either way, the server get VARY boring during peacetime, and while i know its used for tryouts and what not, at this moment I feel it is better we: A) Make peacetime shorter and wars longer Or B) Incorporate an indefinite war system, whether it be the one I talked about or something else While I understand Sims and tryouts are up to the officers of 2GA & Army, The thing is with 2GA, Our officers are either demotivated, burnt out, just bored of the server or inactive; And as for Army, I can't speak on their behave because I don't go over there. Their is only so much we can do during peacetime that eventually we would have done what can be done and it just gets boring, and enlisted members on both sides can only entertain themselves for so long that they either leave or Mass RDM. Seeing as the server is more combat orientated I feel that an indefinite war system is much more preferable than a hour of peacetime; Though if anyone has any other suggestions to add on to this or if yall wanna criticize me you can, these are just some suggestions I think garnet should look into.
  7. Yeah, I highly doubt you're going to be included in the next ban wipe. FYI - some people never get unbanned, even though ban wipes.
  8. You are one of the few people that made me stay on this server for as long as I have, and i honestly want to thank you for it. I hope you find strength in any future endeavors you may face in you're life outside for garnet!
  9. +1 I Would make a short reply about why i agree with this, but I will make a more detailed one for each of the options. Option A: This option makes some sense in theory for some classes. For example DEVGRU's members killing players underwater would simply turn into submarines, having to go up every now and then, and the same goes for PDSS. while the drowning system would apply greatly with 2GA, Army, GB and the other non-Amphibious factions it also kinda defeats the purpose of DEVGRU and PDSS as both are underwater combat units. However including this system would bring some level of fairness as those who are forced to surface would be visible to all on the ground. Option B: Including a knife for all classes may pose a problem; While a ugly knife might encourage players to get a donator knife, the knife itself would have to be nerfed. More specifically the damage would need to be decreased since the knife will be free and everyone would get one. Without the knife damage being decreased I feel players would not really find a big need to buy a donator knife since they would already have a knife that does the same amount of damage as the donator; It would just feel like they are buying a reskinned and or different version of the same, free knife they already have. It would kinda have to be the same as Army's M60 and the donator M60; one is bad, and the other is amazing. Option C : Making Underwater combat failRP make literally no sense; I kinda said this for option A but it would defeat the purpose on DEVGRU and PDSS for underwater combat. Making underwater combat FailRP for non-amphibious player models and faction makes more sense then making it FRP for all including the factions that IRL, specialize in underwater combat. While it wouldn't be impossible to enforce, it also makes no sense to make it FailRP role play wise. Anti-frogmen techniques does exist IRL, the Italians even had a frogmen unit in WW2. In conclusion: I am leaning more towards A and somewhat B; for A, It makes sense to not have people camping in the water the whole time. And B, New players have a way to defend themselves if they were to get in contact with a Seal or frogman and it would provide them a melee weapon, though as I have mentioned, that knife would have to be nerfed so people would buy a donator knife for the server. This suggestion is pretty good my man, I will defiantly be rooting for option A!
  10. -1 With all due respects, I don't think anyone knows you. I suggest play a lot more and get to know everyone on both RU and US. You also need more then what you have for this app. Please get to know the community before placing a staff application.
  11. I hope life treats you well my man, you deserve it! See you another time, Comrade!
  12. maybe but that wasn't really what I meant; I was talking more about just survival mode, though I could have worded it better. But at the same time both ideas aren't really bad ones.
  13. Maybe not a Battle Royal type server would be the best option since there are dozens of Minecraft servers that have that; Perhaps a sandbox with some anti griefing rules and a few mods to help enforce those rules.
