Accepted Absolutely ridiculous for a Lead Admin who just got the rank 3 days ago to act like this to a player, you are supposed to be the example Toddd. That rule is bullshit as well, you are allowed to use explosives to defend your base as long as you don't kill anyone outside your base or who hasn't damaged you. I don't care what the situation is, even if Todd was right about the rule he shouldn't be talking to you like that in OOC about a sit. Danny will be talked to, but the majority of the blame falls on Toddd and he will be receiving a 1 rank demotion for his behavior. He has proven he is not ready to be an executive. To clarify on the rule however, explosives ARE okay however it has to be possible to fight back with a gun, you can't just throw them and give them no chance to fight back. If they have 0 chance to fight back with only a gun that is considered a unfair advantage which is against our rules. Thank you for your report. I'm very conflicted, because I can see the side to both of these arguments. On one hand, If we remove glass it will be easier to raid people with explosives, which might help with the large amount of unraidable bases. The props can in fact also be replaced pretty easily as there are metal and plastic versions. On the other hand, If we remove it, it will mess up people's dupes, which I understand you can fix but a lot of people including myself do not want to go through every single dupe to check whether or not it will spawn correctly, and if it doesnt to then fix it. I also understand a lot of people have fun with these props, enjoying to build with them. There are solutions but a lot of people might not like doing the workarounds (myself included, I have a ton of different dupes I really don't want to go through and fix every single one that has these props.) Overall, I see the benefits in both sides, perhaps there is a way to cause the glass to be able to be blown through? Honestly I'm not too sure. For now I'm going to -1 simply because of how much of a pain in the ass its gonna be for everyone to fix their dupes, though if you have a solution to that I think the benefits would outweigh the costs. Again, I don't see spending a while fixing every single one of the dupes that include the glass props to work with plastic/metal to be a solution.

+1 for sure, I think this would be real interesting +1 as well, I like that because sometimes newer players end up with their printers completely gone so they lose their way to level up easier. I like that you can still buy and keep printers as well, claiming is just something different. My question though is how are we gonna stop people from claiming printers just to minge/fail rp? +1 as well, I think overall these are some good ideas that could make the game more fair. I think 10-20k is more fair, especially when you are a newer player.

Then please share them with us, because right now to me it looks like a single minor incident. Again I am fully open to change my opinion if there's enough to say "yeah no he isn't ready" but as it stands right now there is no way I can fully change my +1 in good faith. This will be my last response to this as I don't want to clutter this up with a conversation, if you wish to disclose more incidents just make another comment about it.

I mean that isn't really a bad thing per say, especially since he was planning to apply, nothing really says he can't do that Seen staff do worse and get away with it. It isn't a good look, but I've seen it happen with current staff with things worse than just a in-game warn. I mean I agree, I'd like to know why he's grouping players up and causing them to disrupt the server with prop minge, but I'd also say that if it were me I wouldn't -1 based off a single incident, dumb as that may be. A few weeks ago I had to deal with multiple current staff doing the exact same thing inside a BASE. As for me, I've had nothing but good experiences with you Danny, +1. Good luck pal. You've been around long enough and generally don't cause problems that I think you'd be a good pick. This is subject to be revoked if serious things come out that might hinder how people look at you, but as far as I know you are rarely an issue. Good luck man. Personally @Rosie if he had done this a week or two before applying I don't think you would of even mentioned it. Just dumbass timing to do something on his end, and it doesn't overshadow the good I see him do when I'm on usually. Now don't get me wrong here, if he's just significantly changed into being a asshole since I've been on I'll happily change to a -1. But one incident doesn't sway my opinion.

To give a good example, hobo's main purpose is to build stuff in the streets and get money, which is a level 3 job. Thief is a level 1 job designed to be the first job you can base and level up with printers. Imagine joining the server expecting to set up base with printers surrounded by people who are powerful enough already and not being allowed to even build defenses for your base. These are just two big examples of prop importance. Unfortunately removing props for lower players is not worth the reward of staff having less situations to deal with. In fact, it can be a huge turn off to joining the community for some people. I personally know I would not of stuck around if I was not able to spawn in props. We are referencing different things. You are talking about prop trap, while I am referencing props actually being unfrozen and being able to be moved around (which can cause serious issues) prop trap is an issue, however that is a easy situation to handle, with the worst case being you type "kill" into your console to escape it. There is no need to take away a huge mechanism for DarkRP because there are some bad apples that staff can take care of. Hope this clears some things up for you.

All 3 of these are already punishable with 3+ offenses becoming a ban over a short period of time. Trial admins are also able to remove any props using /removeprop and senior mod+ may /reconnect any player. In emergencies mod+ can /ban (though again, this is for emergencies, which at that point would fall into bannable categories generally for NITRP+) and vip/trial mod+ may warnstack. All of this can already be handled by any mod online. Unfrozen props arent allowed for this very reason, and recently a way to spawn unfrozen props has been removed after people began to use it for nefarious purposes. We actually have a prop limit that changes with our player count to avoid issues with too many props being active. As such, any builds should not be causing server instability. None of this will be happening, our server heavily supports players being able to build as they please within reason, and this would kill of several classes main purposes. If you have another solution feel free to post it, however I can tell you right now these solutions will not be happening. Also you can check our rules/punishment guidelines on our D3A and of course server rules. Hope that helps you! I appreciate your suggestion, but as it is right now I don't see it happening.

I will be taking a 1 week LOA from most of my manager duties, so please try not to load me up with stuff unless it's a emergency. To be completely honest with you guys, the last few weeks have been real tough and it's gotten to a point where I am throwing up basically daily at least thanks to stress to a point where my throats been sore, and I genuinely have not felt well in a while now. While not all of it is garnet related, I can say that taking a break will certainly help me reset and get back on better than ever. That's why I have to take this, I'm taking any chance I can to reduce my stress so I stop throwing up and stop feeling sick all the time. Physical health and mental health comes first over Garnet duties. Thank you for your understanding everyone!
