Community Director AlexConway 1,166 Posted May 26, 2020 Community Director Share Posted May 26, 2020 Suggestion: Add a terminal for missions/information, the usage of the terminal is dependent on Gamemaster usage/creativity - such as simple mission briefings, CIS data intercepts, etcReasoning: Currently Voice Chat is prone to cutting, out and frankly, calling everyone to debrief to tell them a mission is a waste, with this small addon, you can have the disc prepared and ready to go, give the commanders/users the password/location of the disc and allow the mission to start with out having to type in debrief, this would allow them to go back and check on objectives. This can also allow people to obtain new information/data from the CIS or what not Additional Information: The addon is 3 MB - which in comparison to most addons is very small, but to remove the pain of typing in Debrief and having the players stand there and watch you type or people to forget what you said, would be well worth having. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1939385433https://streamable.com/500jsr (Just one example of giving someone a mission by a pre-typed message) 1 Link to comment
Bortnik 451
for this, does it show on the actual screen? if it does then in that case, +1. I think it will let the troopers feel more engaged, and it can be pre-typed so it can speed up debreifs Link to comment
Jdforster 21
+1 This would add more rp scenarios and make rp easier as well Link to comment
Dobby 78
+1 Huge RP potential here. Instead of doing /mes for using terminals GM's can actually create discs and terminals around a map for events. Link to comment
