They were sent there to figure out where the militia went and "take care" of the civilians. They took care of the civilians and then moved to shipment with the information they were given after that they were under fire at shipment after taking care of the militia there they were just about to leave via helicopter when more militia showed up and made the LZ too hot to land for the pilot so they took off and moved to comms. But when the guns went silent and the militia were helplessly watching the US fly away they were planning something...
