The Garnut Nutter 15,166 Posted February 25, 2022 The Garnut Share Posted February 25, 2022 Day 2 of working on the final iteration of Taiga The purpose of this post is to display what direction Taiga is being taken in, and show you a very early glimpse, being that environmentally, everything you will see is going to get enhanced over time. I have a very strong idea of what to do when it comes to the environment: The theme will be fall, the map is going to be surrounded by trees - eliminating the need for a 3d skybox. The ground textures will be mud/dead grass and leaves - with lots of bushes and spread apart (albeit not so large) trees. This will be the first fall themed map we will have on Garnet Gaming, as I feel confident enough in my skill to do something like that. US and RU base will largely be spread out by bases and an FOB above ground, with not much detail, and will instead be replaced by an underground bunker, similar to CSCDesert (as that seems to be a popular theme) Center objective will remain as Town unless new ideas are given to me, I will re-create Company for one corner of the map, and ATTC for the other. However question, will this be like the bunker that Taiga Forest had where it was a teleporter to a section below the map, or will it be like what RU/US base had with a bunker system that is physically part of the base?
