Why should we choose you over other applicants? Yubi has been on the garnet gaming server for a fair amount of time. Throughout these hours Yubi has been watching the story of the server and has been wanting to add her own stories to the mix. Lots of events are held everyday but with how open yubi is she could add even more daily on top of the amount we already have. Yubi really wanted to become a Gm once Uma Reel was made into a character used in an event that Yubi was playing as Uma. Playing as an Ec with an overarching story that would be showing up time and time again is what Yubi really wants to make.
Recurring characters are what Yubi really wants to incorporate into the Gm’s stories, having the same bad guy barely getting away and growing with the cast of people sent to take his plans down, or even help them out. Yubi wants to make a story that people can look back at and say, “Hey I remember that guy when…”, It’s those little things that make the server super fun from what Yubi has seen and been a part of. For these reasons Yubi wants to be a Gm, to write a story and have people wanting to one day see the same characters again.

How much time do you have to contribute to the role?: Yubi is on everyday, so she’d be open a few times a day everyday.

 

In your own words, what  are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: To make events that tell a fun story leaving people with a want to stay active to see what happens next.

 

Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: Yubi would focus on passive Rp. Things to keep the troopers busy while waiting for the main event as well as making fun little events that aren’t too hard core combat wise.

Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: Recurring characters. They help with world building, having the same person show up and having to interact with them is very fun for those who know about the character.

 

Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale:
“Hostile pollution”
Dr Gom has made an experimental droid pod that is able to continue to make droids. This pod fell from orbit and landed in the lake next to farm and is mining they’re recorrses and making them into aqua droids that are attacking the farms town folk. It will be up to the Dr to record the results of the pod for future testings with the CIS. The Gm’s job would be to place a drop pod into the lake next to the farm and spawn aqua droids around it. They will also need a few Ec’s for towns folk who called in the attack and a few droids to show the dangers of the pod and why it must be taken out. The clones may talk to the townsfolk to better understand the threat. The human Ec’s will be told to mention that the droids have been coming from the lake and they have no idea how or why they keep coming from there. The droid Ec’s are to run out of the lake and just cause as much panic as possible once the talking is over. The clones may bomb the lake or send in ENG’s to shut the pod down. The entire time Dr Gom will be telling them that this is just a test and more will be used in the future. Once the pod is taken care of the Dr will leave being happy with his report. If it was bomb no info will be taken. If an ENG shuts it down they will understand where the pod came from. A lab named NavChime testing facility[A droid factory that's eating a planet], with this they may go and find this lab at a later date. A total of 4 Ec’s will be needed for this event, 2 people 2 droids.

 

“Seems you left the oven on”
What a wonderful day for a cooking class with CT Boba 0110 and her cooking bots Kooking01 and 0Ven5. They will be baking a cake with the help of the clones who show up to the call on comms. Today’s task will be baking  “space cake” . The clones will be given the steps to bake the cake over time. Boba will ask people to wash they’re hands and grab the tools needed to bake the cake. One a bowl, and mixing tools have been pulled out of the cabinets the ingredients can be added. 1 cup of sugar, ½ cup of unsalted butter, 2 rancor eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, 1-½ cups of flour, 1-¾ teaspoons of baking powder, and finally ½ cups of milk. Once the batter is made they may place it in the oven at 350 for 5 mins. Once the cake is made Boba will take it to NCC and have the troopers sing happy birthday to whatever naval may be on at the time. While this is happening a fire will break out in the mess hall damaging the droids to become hostile. The Gm’s job is to spawn the props needed for the cook as well as setting the droids on fire and to set them loose in the base. The clone will have to activate the base's sprinkler system to stop the fire and must kill Kooking01 and 0Ven5. Babo will then pack up her things and leave. 2 Ec’s will be needed for this event, 2 droids

 

“A test of might”
Master duelist Dawn Stars will come to the planet requesting that the clones will lay down they’re arms and enter melee combat with him for they killed his mother in a bombing run and he is here to avenge her. He and his men will land at Aurek making it into an arena for the duels to take place. He will call the clone to the ring to fight in melee team based combat. If shots are fired upon him and his men they will be orbitly bombarded by his brother who is an artillery expert. If the clones refuse to join the fight with the weapons provided by Dawn, he and his men will have proven they’re point that the republic has no honour and will die as they have lived, with swords in their hands. If the clones do fight Dawn and his crew they will be sent in as waves to slowly work down Dawn and his men. Once the killing blow is landed on Dawn his men will stand down for they must continue his story. The clone who won will be given Dawn's weapon as a gift. And they will leave. The gm’s job is to build the arena at Aurek for the duels and to give the willing clones swords to fight them. Dawn will be given 500 Hp and his men will be given 350 each. 5 Ec’s will be needed 1 is dawn the rest are his brothers by war. Nic Flower, Bingus Fin, Bass Cell, Vegas Crunch. If the clones do fight with honor the ones whole live will one day help during a CIS assult and protect the clones with they’re melee combat. 5 total Ec’s will be needed for this event.

 

“Who let the dogs out”

What a wonderful day, well it would be if there weren't so many bugs up and about. Seems a very tough species of bug has started to flourish in the world, and it’s up to the clones to stop them from continuing to spread. A call for help will be sent to the clones to go to the farm. The ground forces will have to clear Zeta and Farm of these insects hopefully leading them to the cave to remove the hive. A man named Farmer Dale will be waiting outside the caves after attempting to go in himself and getting injured, if the clones do not come to caves Dale will comms it in. Dale will hand off his weapon, a wirst flamer and tell them they must go to the deepest part of the cave and burn the nest. The clones will have to make it through the cave protecting the one with the flamer to reach the nest and burn it. While they go in they will be attacked from the bugs that are protecting the caves. Medical units can help Dale back to base and fix him up in AUX medbay. The Gm’s role is to spawn the bugs at the 2 FOB’s and the cave as well as a massive prop to act as the nest in the boiler room in caves. Once the nest is on fire the Gm will remove the prop showing the troopers they’re mission was completed. 1 Ec will be needed for this event

 

“How did you get those?”
A sales woman named Nori Fla will set up shop in a cave by the village. She will call out in comms for people to come to her shop because of the items it holds. A masked man will show up and buy a holocron and the Space wizards will feel a disturbance in the force when this happens. They will trace the man to this cave and find the masked man buying the holocron. The masked man will attempt to book it, if the jedi ignite they’re lightsaber he will stop in place and ignite his own revealing he is a fallen Jedi, they will duel there at the shop. If the Jedi let him run off the masked man will go to the crystal caves and tamper with the cave willing it with illusions of the force. The Jedi will head there soon after the cave is inhabited by the masked man and they will duel there for the holocron. Once the Jedi have the holocron it will lead them to a planet’s temple for a later event involving how he found out about the holocron and who was selling it. Gm’s will be spawning the shop and its items in the cave by the village. Once the shop is ready the event will go one as normal. The fallen Jedi will be given 2k Hp and a blue lightsaber. Once the duel is finished the Jedi will take the holocron and store it. Once it’s stored, remove it. The shop will be packed up and Nori will fly a rust bucket like ship off the planet to maybe be seen again in another vent selling weapons.

Yubi is easily one of the nicest and respectful people on the server as well as mature.

This app is a brilliant example of Yubi’s creativity and what she could bring the to table as a GM. Easy +1 from me

I don't even need to fully read the rest of the events. I'll be surprised if this doesn't get approved in 48 hours. You're always active, always engaged in RP and always having people have a good time. You may speak in 3rd person but it's your thing and no one questions it. You've well-earned your CO role for 41st batt and do a good job running the batt. I've yet to see you be problematic in the server and that's really a lot what I would base my vote on. Im putting a +1 because I know yubi can do good, this will just be a huge problem. Not being able to quickly give commands through VC causes lots of problems.

Definitely not biased. Yubi has a lot of dedication to the server, as well as regular incorporation of passive roleplay throughout the day. She regularly participates in almost all events, has helped as an EC, as well as with other minor things. A mature person, not here to cause problems, wants fun for everyone. Ez.
