Why should we choose you over other applicants? [minimum 2 paragraphs]

I could be chosen over other applicants for a few reasons. One reason is I have been on the server since the most recent release date and have many hours on the server [I don't have a life]. another reason is, I have been an EC or helped come up with some event ideas for other GM's and have worked well with them so I believe that I could work well with other GM's when I am one myself. Another reason is, if I am told how to make events better for the player base, I will try to fix it instead of getting mad at the person telling me how to fix it. I want to make good events that keep people interested and make them want to stay on the server. A lot of people join during an event where drop pods are just landing on runway for 40 minutes and in my opinion that is not a way to keep people interested as it gets a little boring after awhile. One last thing is, if my event changes paths or doesn't go as planned I feel that I can adapt to it and make it work out still instead of shortening the event and having to tell people they did it wrong (Another issue I see a lot).

In your own words, what  are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?: Make events and help people with tryouts, keep people entertained and not bored so they can continue their interest to the server.

 Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: I would make events and use players as EC's to make sure people stay interested.

Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server: 

 I would make an event that is split into different portions that are based off each battalion's specialties. I see a lot of battalions and sub battalions not getting used for their set specialty during events and want to change that. Such as give vehicles and give each battalion a task of their specialty to work through with each other.

Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation]

1. Specialty Showdown

This would be as said above, an event based around every battalion doing their own little things to get information for the big event that every battalion has to work together for. For this I would have maybe a code that would open a huge droid FOB that the republic would have to infiltrate. To  get the code I would have 501st and 212th clear out one fob and get part the code, I would have 104th and CG negotiate with a person to get that part of the code, 327th would breach buildings and demo parts of the buildings to get the third part of the code. Then finally I would have 41st scout all around the map to find the final part of the code, after the code is found, they would all converge and put the code together to open the big event and take down the CIS FOB.

2. 34th down

After the 34th battlegroup was sent to investigate a distress signal on a separate planet, they were ambushed by CIS forces and had to prepare for a crash landing. With little resources, 327th will build a mini FOB for the troopers still alive. Medics will work on the wounded troopers while engineers begin repairs on the LAAT's. I would then send the 41st out to scout for any near by life sources to provide food and water for the 34th battlegroup. The 34th battlegroup would start to make their way to a near by village where they are ambushed by a small patrol of CIS forces. After the engineers repair the ships enough to get a signal, they call for backup and head back to the venator then shortly back to Anaxes.

3. Anaxes raid

After the 34th battlegroup fled anaxes due to a outbreak of toxic bugs that have over taken the base, the 34th battle group escapes to aurek to regain ammo and utilities. After restocking, the 34th battlegroup starts to head back to base soon to realize the CIS Muni hovering just above anaxes. The troops push into base wanting to regain control of it but the forces are too strong against them. Soon the CIS leaves with all of the republics information and flees to an unknown star system. The republic clears out the remaining bugs and proceeds to the venator in chase of the stolen information. Once the republic get a lead on the information that was stolen, they send down troops to the ground and commence an attack on the CIS FOB to regain the stolen information. 

4. Back to boot camp

This event would be more of a time waster and just something before or after the main event to keep people on. For this we would go back to the Clone Wars TV series and do the citadel trainings [Yes I know it was for ARC but roll with it]. For this we could see which battalion could complete it the fastest against droid or any kind of hostile NPC. Then I could maybe slide in some PVP or PVE sims afterwards because I know a lot of people like those kind of events. 

5. Sitrep

[Another kind of mini event to keep players interested] 41st would be sent on a scouting mission outside of anaxes to check out a possible distress call from Zeta. While enroute to zeta, they are ambushed from the mountains all around them. As soon as the attack strikes the enemies send a virus that jams all of the comms systems leaving 41st no contact to base or any backup. After awhile the troops back at base realize that 41st has been gone for too long and they send out a search party only to find the 41st held down in valley from the mountains. The 34th all work together to take out the enemies and make their way to Zeta for the distress call.

gonna -1 this, while yes, people can change, getting banned for a year off another garnet server is a terrible look. I also haven’t had too many interactions with you, but most of them have involved you being toxic in some way. Like I said, I haven’t had too many interactions with you (because I tend to avoid you due to your toxicity), so Other people can change my mind

I was demoted for being in a call with other members while it happened, I then massed and was banned for a year. I feel that should not effect a game master app as much as it would a staff app,  I could be wrong though.

I haven't seen much things that are great from you, other than simply existing. I've seen you and other high ranking 327th participate in some reckless activity in game. Shooting each other for fun, stabbing each other, RDMing. I don't have kill logs, but I checked them once upon a time on you specifically and they were more than enough to ban off of. I should've spoken to you before but I must've gotten distracted.

I've been reading over other people's comments, and I think they're right. Change is possible and denying somebody the chance to show that they change isn't very fair. Im gonna +1 this in hopes you wont do the same stuff you did on DRP

A year ban and blacklisting on another branch of garnet is unacceptable, especially as being a GM has significantly more ability to affect the server than a staff. 

You couldn't handle being a staff, so how can confidence be placed on you as a GM?

 

Proggy raises a good point, your in game behavior should be addressed.

I've seen you minge with other 327th while on the server and the battalion you lead is repeatedly landing in hot water with CG, so I maintain my -1.

Personally I don't think its fair to -1 solely based off his ban which was a year ago on a different server. He's redeemed himself a lot on swrp. If you have other reasons to -1 based off what you've seen in his SWRP activity go ahead but I don't believe he would abuse GM considering how long the ban is for that.

Everyone has had their share of mistakes. Yeah some worse than others, but literally when Sunday came back to play following his ban he was genuinely humble and a joy to be around. He didn’t take any offense and if anything he shows character by being proactive within the community. He deserves a chance to prove himself. +1

I'm actually gonna +1. I've had no interactions with him on SWRP but I've gotten lucky enough to get to know Sunday as a person, but unfortunately I was also a part of his ban for a year. I have to say, I expected him to hold that grudge a year later when he joined DarkRP like Joe Gatto had (when he had alted) but to my shock he and @SeabassTheGod were both incredibly chill, and we just picked up right where we left off a year ago. Right back to friends. If that doesn't show maturity over knowledge of what he did wrong I don't know what is, I've seen adults beyond his age act like complete fools and yet here he is showing a ton of maturity over a year long ban.

 

Qualifications for a GM are simple: Someone who makes people have fun, and someone whos friendly. Sunday has always fit these two things, and I think holding a mistake like that against him after a year is ridiculous. I think SWRP would be missing a seriously great asset if they passed up on giving Sunday a chance, and worst case it can always be removed. I understand he did some bad things, but people deserve a second chance.

 

Understand I am +1ing based on his DRP behavior that I have seen, and people could have different interactions with him on SWRP. I think it's just important to note the growth I've seen considering I was a part of his banning for a year. I haven't heard him do anything bad on DRP either since that incident, and while I'm unsure how active hes been, I thought it'd be important to give my take. I think given the powers of a GM he could seriously entertain a crowd. I've also seen people forgiven for way worse sometimes even multiple times, so why doesn't he deserve a chance to prove himself? I'd also like to point his events sound pretty fun to an outsider of SWRP, and I think I could have some fun doing some of those.

 

I DO however think he should have some restrictions at least at first, being made to work with other gms always when he wants to do an event (if thats not already a requirement) and any abuse should be punished severely, he has to earn the trust from the SWRP people.

Although i haven’t been around you that much, you seem chill.  The application is fine, good event ideas.  I think everyone should get a second chance, I understand that in the past you may have done things that got you banned on DRP for a bit.  But I’m not gonna -1 because…

Litterally love this guy, When i first i joined ther server the first battalion I ever joined was 327th, a day later I had joined K-Company with this guy leading it, he showed me the ropes of SWRP and how it works, But he held me accountable for what i did, He changed me as a person in a good way. Hes mature, Hes a good leader and over all a great guy!

I first joined the server (and Garnet Gaming) and went to the 327th back when Sunday was a CPL or SCPL. He was a great leader for us and I would never have imagined him doing those things on a different server that got him banned. 

Even after I went to CG I never had any issues with him minge-ing or breaking laws. In fact he even joined as a 2nd Life CG and he did a great job as a detective and I never had any disciplinary issues with him.

+1 on edge with my plus one but you were a cool and fun guy to be with when I was with you in 91st and that ban from a year ago doesnt mean shit people legit can reform in legit a month but with some people saying you were being mingy puts me on edge but your event ideas are good and I believe you are a positive person
