To preface this, I put this thread in rant so people could let their feelings out. This is in no way a shitpost, therefore I won't respond to shitpost comments. 

 

My name is Vain. I'm a Delta Force who went by the name Vagabond and Victor. You may know me, you may not. The sole reason I have created this thread is to improve myself as not only a community memebet in GG MRP, but to become a better person overall. I've done some big fuckups in the past, the major one being putting a porn link in chat. I think about this mistake daily; what it means for my reputation, what it means for my future on this server, and what it means in my faction. It is possibly my greatest regret, but even before that I strived to improve myself. I am asking for genuine feedback of how I'm doing. This is in no way supposed to forgive my previous actions; for if I have not forgiven myself, how can I ever be forgiven? This is to improve my behavior, and to listen to the community on what I can change in my behavior. Seen me do something mingey? By all means, post it here with video, audio, visual or no evidence at all. Seen me act toxic or disrespectful? Here's the place to put it. Any characteristics you do not like, or would not like to see in a community member, please let me know. I hope by making this and getting community feedback, I can be a face that is welcomed by everyone. I look forward to reading your honesty.

Honestly I've seen great improvement in you, especially in OOC. I'll be honest and frank you used to be a minge but now when ever I read something you've typed into OOC it's always either something useful towards a conversation or topic, or you're telling other players to cool down and take their fights to the PMs. I've also seen you act ALOT less mingey, and instead just act like a regular guy trying to get more involved in the community. I love seeing this kind of improvement in your behaviour, especially since I've always considered you as a friend.  

On a side note im really impressed by you by making this post, it shows that you've matured and are willing to listen criticism and try to improve yourself from it.

The worst thing you've done is post a porn link in chat? Now, I get it, it can be serious because of all the minors and shit, yeah. But my dude, you're acting like as if you murdered someone or did a DUI or some shit. I dunno, to me I dont think it's as serious as you're making it out to be, or if you're just making it dramatic, I dunno. And this isn't a shitpost, I'm just genuinely saying you shouldn't be so harsh on yourself for something as small as that, that's just my opinion.

Only one infact who has gone from a major major minge to a decent player, is medinator, so if you need an example, follow him.

 

Edit: also to add, I mean posting a porn link is not that bad of a thing to do in the grand scheme of things. You could've dome what I did and single handed kill a faction.

You are probably a nice person. I remember seeing you when you had your name as Arizona on 1MD or 11B. Bu then you joined delta force and in my eyes your ego got boosted so high. You started acting out in ways because you were probably thinking "Oh im in a soc faction no one will think bad of me!". I only say this because way before you joined and I joined GRU this is how I felt for about a week and realized I was wrong. Now about a week ago you asked why I hate you so much. I dont hate you I just fucking hate the way you act. This is happening with most delta force too. I remember pump joined DF and his ego was boosted too (just one example). Now why is there nothing positive about this? because I feel like you wont change unless you get a ban or something. but thats how I feel.

A few months ago when the new map came out you said how you were mad at the seals for taking your debrief. Then we talked and you brought it up that seals hate DF. Im going to be totally honest idk if there is a faction that likes you guys. It is filled with a bunch of egotistical kids thinking they are the best on the server.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll address it one by one. 

Duel- I can only have so much self awareness. Some people may think about a situation I deem "ok", and that's what I wanted to hear. Community feedback of what I'm doing wrong so that I can make the community better. I'm not a minge like RileyM, and take responsibility for my actions. Thanks for your feedback.

Duck- I don't really know you that well, I assume you play on DRP, but thanks for the feedback as well. 

Maverick- I do admit, when I first joined DF, I did have an ego boost as I went straight from a SSG to a Delta Force CDT. But now, as a WO, I feel like I do need to assert some power. I don't know if my US brothers feel the same, as I have never gone on a power trip, nor extended my reach on what a WO can do, but I appreciate your criticism. Is there anything you would like to see me change or stop doing? If so, let me know. Also, to elaborate on the SEAL situation, it wasn't my call to choose war room as my DB. Other DF were upset as well, but we worked out our differences. Never did I claim SEALS hated DF, nor do they now. All factions get along pretty well on US.

Upland- This isn't me making a sob story. No where in the post do I ask for forgiveness. I simply ask for community feedback. And although a porn link may not mean much to you, it had an impact for me within the community and my faction

A what was your name on the old forums? I don’t remember anyone named Arizona unless you are a bit new or had a diff name
