Map

Revamped over the last 2 days to promote client-sided frames - this was done by further spacing out the objectives of the map

 

Created more cover on the way from US onto Playground (resized parking lot and added foliage and trees around)

 

Corrected Afghanistan's Obstacle Course ropes not allowing players to climb

Added 3rd US gate on the east side (relocated debrief to replace one of the sheds that existed prior)

 

SCREENSHOTS COMING SOON. HAD TO OVERNIGHT SHIP A NEW LAPTOP CHARGER BECAUSE MY DOG DECIDED TO BE A BITCH AND CHEW THROUGH MY LAPTOP CHARGER, THIS FUCKING MAP IS LOCATED ON THE LAPTOP. WHY.

 

 

 

Optimization

Rewrote outdated client-sided for the server. This will likely result in a HUGE performance boost. Furthermore, I had decided to implement code found on StarwarsRP that proved to be very helpful during debriefs:

Local Player Information

No longer will players' names around you be rendered, moving forward, only the player you are aiming at will have their information drawn

In addition, players' names will remain on your screen momentarily and fade out after awhile when no longer being looked at. This will assist in being able to know your surroundings

 

 

 

Escape Menu

Added "Main Menu" button for ease for use for new players who have no ideas what tilda ` is

US Army : Sniper

Player Limit Cap → 4 raised from 2

 

US Army : Support

Riot shield added onto loadout

 

US Ranger : Ghost

Player Limit Cap → 2 lowered from 3

 

 

Taliban Army : Sharpshooter

Player Limit Cap → 4 raised from 2

 

Taliban Army : Support

Riot shield added onto loadout

 

ISI : Watchman

Player Limit Cap → 2 lowered from Infinite

 

 

Taliban Army : Arsonist [T2]

Added Serbu Shorty onto loadout


 

Taliban Army : Marshal

Dragoon added onto loadout - replacing the SKS

 


Taliban Army : Officer & Machine Gunner [T1]

Player Models have been swappedout


 

 

Miscellaneous

Door System

Recoded the default DarkRP door system to strictly allow doors to open/close and for some parameters to be overwritten by Super Admins (literally just removed 90% of the code)

 

 

 

NPCs

Removed the ability to assign the Javeris to NPCs

 

 

 

Cloak

Gamemasters on duty who are cloaked will never have their name display under any circumstances on other players' screens

Cloaked players cannot take damage or deal damage to other players

There will now be a HUD display to let players know when they are cloaked

Dragoon

Accuracy raised from 99.7% to 99.9%

Damage raised from 100 to 125

 

Serbu Shorty

Shell Capacity raised from 2 to 4
Shell Reserves raised from 6 to 30

 

 

 

Quiz NPC

Corrected the Afghan server entry quiz - previously told you that you had been getting questions wrong.

 

 

 

Spawn Protection

Correct display glitching out
