Past experiences as a Game Master:

I have not held the title of game master but I got experience as a staff member at a different SWRP community and I've done a couple events as that

 

Why should we choose you over other applicants?

I have past experience from creating events and I believe I have a pretty creative mind for creating different types of missions and other roleplays. I will use the role of GM very seriously as I think creating different character stories and missions for players to do is very fun. Because of my enjoyment of creating a fun and rich roleplaying environment I would take feedback thoughtfully from events I host and really think about solutions to make my events as good as they can be. I've learned from mistakes doing past events. 

 

Have you ever been banned or punished on any server?

What I remember from years ago is that I have been warned one or two times for breaking minor rules, nothing serious

 

How much time do you have to contribute to the role?:

I mostly play on the server at the first days of the week all in a row then I will probably be off for friday and saturday then returning late on sunday. I try to balance my outside life and gaming so I can't be on every single day. During those days when I am online i play on the server for several hours. From around 11am to 8pm (EST Time) on work days and possibly longer than 8pm on weekends if i were to play on those days. This means I can contribute a lot to the role in a single day but I am not able to contribute everyday sadly. But there MAY come weeks sometime were i wont be able to play on the server for more than 2 days or there MAY also come weeks were I can play everyday.

 

In your own words, what are the responsibilities of a Gamemaster?:

The responsibilities of a gamemaster is to set up in-depth scenarios for players to roleplay in, create immersive and fun events and also to contribute to the battalions with more advanced trainings or help with tryouts. Without gamemasters the server would be without life and players would be bored.

 

Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team:

Because of my timezone being a lot more ahead of the servers timezone(6 hours ahead of EST) I will be available to do roleplay scenarios/events early in the morning. This would expand the daily schedule and would bring more RP for the few that joins earlier on the day when it’s quiet and empty or encourage players to join earlier. As I have seen some people with time zones close to me I think it would be a good idea. I would also of course contribute to the RPs already on the daily schedule that are later in the day by hosting the events or scenarios if needed. 

 

Explain your single most creative idea for contributing to the RP environment of the server:
Bringing a lot of passive roleplay into the server. Some examples of passive RP I would do: I would set up transport missions were troops would escort a batch of supplies to a random FOB with either a ground vehicle or in air. I'd make base systems or FOB systems go down that would make the engineers need to deploy to repair. For the medics I could RP as a random civilian that ventures into base and is injured pretty bad or I could start a virus infection that would put the hazmat suits to use. I would roleplay as a republic official that is arriving for a base inspection. The list goes on as I have a lot of ideas.

 

**Please list and explain 5 unique event ideas of any scale:**

 

1: On-World Event "Droid Infiltration" Map: Anaxes
During base status 1 a group of astromech droids would arrive on base with a republic transport ship. This ship would seem normal to ATC when requesting permission to land because of the droid pilot would announce itself as a republic droid maintenance team flying in said republic transport ship which is an Nu-class shuttle. The idea of the droids arrival is to do maintenance check around the base but what the republic forces don't know is that they are secretly CIS droids sent by CIS Command to spread out around the base and sabotage multiple systems and components. The sabotage will happen suddenly and all the base systems will shut down at the same time. Officers up at NCC will notice this outage by looking at the displays and will then report to the troops of the situation. This is when the engineers come into play to spread out and find every sabotaged component and fix them meanwhile the CIS droids move into hiding spots and turn themselves into bombs which then the EODs will also come into play to find those bombs and defuse them. When the base systems goes out a CIS assault will start trying to eliminate the republic base on Anaxes so the remaining troops will defend. The CIS assaulting the base will have a camp at around Olympus which the republic forces will have to go and eliminate and secure once they have cleared the assault. The mission will be a success once all bombs are defused and the CIS camp is eliminated. If the engineers are not done with their tasks the sabotaged base will be all that is left to repair giving some passive RP.

 

2: Off-World Event "Operation Iron Blockade" Map: 
Republic forces would be deployed to the planet ##### to assault a CIS fort that is currently blocking a crucial supply route for the republic at the ongoing planetary invasion. It's going to be massive invasion of the fort, 2-3 tanks will be allowed. As the republic forces fly down to planet surface in LAATs they will be shot down by AA. The missions starts with the ground troops climbing out of the crashed LAATs and needing to organize themselves. Outside the main fort there will be 2 smaller forts that they need to take down. Each small fort will unlock abilities after they are destroyed. There will be an AA fort, this was the AA that shot the LAATs down at the beginning of the operation. Once the AA fort has been eliminated they will be able to call in for reinforcements (It will be a one life event until the AA fort has been eliminated) and players will be able to respawn. The second fort will hold an AT turret & artillery unit overlooking the battlefield. Once this has been eliminated the players are able to call the tanks. After the smaller forts are eliminated the ground forces may move onto the main fort. Republic forces will be met with a difficult force to break past once they have reached the main fort. The CIS side will be lead by General Grevious who the jedi will have to deal with later when they have breached the fort. When they do breach the fort they are able to download a bunch of intel from the command center. The intel the republic will receive will tell them about the Shadow Collective (choose one syndicate from the shadow collective that will be used in the event) presence in the underworld of coruscant.(This is a connection to event 5)

 

3: Off-World Event "Operation Frosty Liberation" Map: rp_carlac
A republic recon base stationed on planet Carlac has reported that a nearby village with native population Ming Po has been made hostages by the CIS Forces. We are to deploy to the recon base and then move out to the village that has been ransacked to rescue and evac the hostages. Once the republic forces reach the village and clear out the surrounding CIS they will move into the village to find multiple civilians held hostage with rayshields that can be deactivated by engineers. There will be 3 groups of civilians tied together at different positions in the village. Once all villagers have been rescued they are to be escorted back to the recon base. But as the republic forces close in on the recon base multiple drop pods will land in between the republic forces and the recon base. The recon base will be overrun and the republic forces have to reroute to another position and establish a new evac zone. That zone they will have to setup defences and defend against waves of CIS forces. An EVAC LAAT will arrive after 5 minutes of successfully defending against the waves and then the mission is a success

 

4: On-World Event "Operation Fallen Birdies" Map: CIS Anaxes 
NCC receives a distress signal from CIS part of Anaxes. It appears 2 LAATs carrying 2 VIPs have been shot down and are in need of rescue. The VIPs being a Navy Captain and the other being a senator. Republic forces will be deployed to CIS Anaxes to rescue the troops and the VIPs. Once they reach the source of the distress signal they will find 2 LAATs crashed with remains of troopers surrounded by waves of neutralized CIS droids. Republic forces will then search the ruins of the LAATs and in one LAAT they will find the Navy Captain hiding. The Navy will then tell them about the senator who has been taken hostage by CIS and brought to a nearby base. The Navy will then be moved to EVAC by a small squad of troopers while the rest move towards the CIS base to do a rescue mission of the taken senator. Upon reaching the base the republic forces will be tasked with breaching and CQB. Other CIS forces that are stationed on CIS aAnaxes will be notified of the republic assault on the CIS base and will then move to intercept. That means there will be 2 groups of troops, one clearing the base and doing hostage negotiation and the other group repelling the CIS forces intercepting. The breaching team will find the senator behind a rayshielded wall leading into a room with 2 magma guards and 1 tactical droid. The rayshielded wall will have a big wire leading from it to a second room where they will find the rayshield projector. Engineers are able to disable this projector shield or EOD can plant a charge and blow it up leading it to be disabled. It's up to the republic forces to come up with a plan on how to rescue the senator after. The mission will be complete when the senator and navy are both at EVAC and off to republic Anaxes.

 

5: Off-World Event "Shadow Lockup " Map: rp_coruscant_underworld
From the intel gathered at event 2 the republic have discovered a trading deal between the CIS and the shadow collective. The republic will be tasked with going to the lower levels of coruscant to retrieve stolen republic technology from a Shadow collective warehouse and arrest the leader of the operation. The location of the warehouse will be known from the intel gathered at event 2. Once the republic forces clear the warehouse they find many boxes of republic weapons and medical supplies. They will also find intel that the leader is located in an office on coruscant. A squad will then breach and clear that office and arrest the leader while the rest of the republic forces are moving the stolen equipment to an evac zone. While moving the stolen equipment to the evac zone the republic forces will be ambushed several times by the crime syndicate. The mission will be a success after the leader is in republic custody and the equipment is recovered and placed on LAATs.
