MP - Divisional

Suggestion:

Bringing some form of Military Police in for rules enforcement/RP

Reasoning:

Basic duties are guarding gates and enforcing base rules. Higher ranking players may investigate demotions, foul play, etc. This gives players incentive to guard gates and enforce rules upon each other, kind if like DI’s will need/want to train.

Additional Info:

Implement MP as a division like DS and not a whole separate faction. So players would only follow the 31B/5811/SP MOS when assuming MP duty but follow 11B/1MD/2GA when not assuming MP duty. The whole divisions will be led and monitored by existing Army/Marine officers and RU officers No tryout needed, just training. RU equivalent is OMOH or SP (Spetz Poliz). The MOS assumption if for RP purposes.

Let me know what you guys think.

The biggest thing is theproblem of people minging and abusing the duty, you say the are monitored but it’s not always that easy, enforcing base rules is already staff/officer and enlisted duty. Investigating demotions and all that stuff is already officers duty, the biggest thing is “no try out just training” if they just get it then they could easily abuse it, there’s people that abuse stuff even after trying AND tryouts so it’s a very wrong way of going about it in my opinion. If anything like I Said  in Taffy’s just give Officer class the cuffs and it’s be a lot better. Another thing a lot of enlisted are already Mingy and toxic as it is so if they got that class with out having to do tryouts or anything then Itd be a shit show

Understandable. If they are seen minging, they will be demoted. Should serve a deterrent. Raising the minimum rank allowed to train may also help.

Demoting doesn’t always act as a deterrent, I’ve know people to get demoted from WO to SFC in two weeks for stupid shot or get BLd and still continue what they do.

Or you know, you'll have the select few people that actually do this on their own accord and their officers realize this and commend them appropriately. Or Officers could just assign certain people to do this, instead of the whole 'sub-division'.

...but why? If you were demoted wrongfully, talk to higher ups, if you are still not satisfied, bring it up to staff and a possible situation of bias will be settled.

Close gate. Friendly comes up to gate, open gate. Enemy car comes up to gate. It's closed. Keep it closed. Branching Scenarios:
They hop the gate: kill the person who hopped over.
They run away: Go back to looking at Instagram.

And enforcing base rules? You really want to be yelled at for not saluting at an officer who just walked out of spawn, for having your weapon off safety while you re-fill ammo?

If you so badly want to enforce base rules or have people guard gates, take it upon yourself and set people up to do such, you do not need a separate division just for this. -1.

Guidelines can be made so people know what they can and can’t do.
