Player Trails

I was just thinking about this, but what if the almighty @Garnet added something in the donor shop where players could by a trail that would be created when a player was running around the server. I think it would be a cool cosmetic idea

It is a cool idea, but you might aswell say goodbye to the rest of your FPS

that was the only downside that i was thinking about. Do you think there is a way around that or no?

Yeah, letting people disable trails if their FPS tank

which would more than likely be 99% of people

True, but more lobster dinners for you. Or you can make it more expensive then most other donor items making it more limited

If everyone's got them turned off, what is the point in purchasing them? That's like flexing your Gucci belt in a pitch black room.

we are assuming that people would turn them off. I mean im no expert but will the fps really be that drastically effected by this

This might drive new players away because they won’t know about the option to disable it and will assume the server is extremely laggy, it’s a good idea but I don’t think it’d work out

Yea thats why it's mostly a TTT thing because it doesn't overload the game engine just by existing

In my experience with player trails, they're incredibly annoying and just obstructive to gameplay in general. Aside from FPS issues, I think it's not a good idea.
