I have decided to resign as staff from DRP I know I have not been here long but I have decided to resign. I am not very active within DRP anymore and I am too focused on staffing for Rust so I think it would be for the best. I have very much enjoyed my experience as staff for DRP and I enjoyed talking and meeting everyone. I will still (Obviously) be very active in the GG community, I would really just like to focus on and pay full attention to Rust. A special thanks to @smileeface and @aidanpoppas123 for being the ones to help me through staffing for DRP. But I really do not have any complaints about anyone from the staff team. Ok buddy, cool it down there. You weren't "vibing in your base", someone reported you for failbase, I checked it out, then they left. Then I brought you to the base, you showed me how your doors worked, and I contacted Cyber as I was unsure. Your doors were almost impossible to get through and took a while. I spoke with Cyber and he said it was borderline and up to me to decide. If you would actually read the rules (for you this is hard, I understand) you'd know this: Do not set up an unfair advantage Second off, I told you to fix it (and at the time had no intention of giving you a warn) and you refused several times. When a staff member tells you to fix something and you're unsure if it's fine? Do what they say and talk to a higher up, don't be whining like a crybaby "No.", "I'm going to report this on the forums." like you did. If you actually read the rules you'd also see this Admin decisions are final. I gave you multiple chances to fix this and you kept spamming "nope" instead of fixing it and moving on with your day. I also feel that I have enough creative ability to form my own organized and enjoyable events for all playing. I am on the server very frequently during low and high population times and think that I can provide fun events for those that are on during high population but especially when server population is low. I tend to be active during obscure hours when little GM/Staff are present. I think this will help with player base retention as more will be motivated to stay online during low population if there is events going on that are enjoyable. Follow MRP guidelines to create RP scenarios for all to enjoy on the server. Create a more immersive experience in general for those that play. Describe how you would contribute to RP as a part of the Gamemaster team: As previously stated, I feel that I have more than enough creative ability to form events that create fun and immersive experiences for GG players. I am also part of a faction in game that is very heavily involved in RP and think I have the knowledge necessary to create great events based on previous experience. Please list and explain 3 unique event ideas designed for only your faction to take part in: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation]: I would like to aid in furthering the RP tryout processes that take place within Vega during the Recon/Medic tryouts. Enhancing the way Vega is able to execute tryouts is one idea I would like to design. This would include creating dupes/constructs that may be used as a temporary medbay during an Medic RP tryout and placing enemy NPC's for the operative to navigate through. The event would start with a medic trainee finding a wounded V operative near a chosen site. I would create a medbay nearby and place enemies on the perimeter, giving the medic a search and rescue RP scenario. I would also like to create an infiltration scenario where Vega members are able to practice/apply their various roles (medic, marksman/recon, commander) in a mission as a team vs NPC's. Allowing my team to build team skills and RP lingo is the basis of this idea. With this idea, I'd like to use GM abilities to provide a single point of entry and multiple obstacles to navigate through with NPC's and unforeseen problems along the way. For starters, I would gather the team near an objective such as shipment and have them use their skills to locate various NPC's that I had placed. I would block off almost all entrances and provide abnormal props as cover for the enemies to hide behind/inside. As the team breaches, they will find a data/comms center that I would place near the center, guarded by enemies. Upon data extraction, more enemies would surround the perimeter and cause exfiltration issues. Finally, I think using GM abilities, I could modify an objective's environment to provide new challenges and introduction to new weaponry such as breaching charges during a breach-and-clear hostage rescue type mission. I would like to form an event idea based on a team of Vega breaching an objective, such as silo. The goal of this event idea is to promote teamwork and resourcefulness with what am I able to give them. Using props and NPC's, I would create a scenario where I would challenge my team's entry to the objective as much as possible within my GM bounds. The event would start with a complete block of all entrances into silo, with enemies guarding the perimeter as well. As the team pushed further in, explosives would need to be used to breach the upper levels of silo. Upon breaching, the team would be met with enemies and a hostage which they will need to take care of before leaving. In general, I'd like to further my faction's ability to create RP scenarios that better their experience in RP situations. Please list and explain 1 unique global event idea designed for the entire server to take part in: [Be sure to include any additional context that may be necessary to your explanation]: I think a crucial part of events, that is sometimes missing, is letting the player work with their respective teams and leaders to shape how an event progresses. I want to promote the leadership of those at the heads of each faction and allow them to use my GM abilities as a tool. The basis behind this event stays with creating an environment for each faction to come together as one against a problem that I would create. Promoting teamwork, leadership skills, RP experience, and combat ability is the goal. The outline of the event is as follows : I would like to create a global event that involves the cooperation of US and RU in order to remove a common enemy. In this event, a 3rd party would enter the warzone, stealing weaponry and personnel from each side. Their goal is removing "trespassers" on their land and setting up a new leadership. With the weaponry and knowledge the personnel have, the 3rd party will create a force and weapons of mass destruction seeking to rid RU and US from the land and return it to its previous state, before warfare took over. In order to prevent the antagonistic party from taking over, US and RU will work together in a series of meetings and finally an operation to save their personnel and clear out the common enemy. I would like this event to be heavily driven by the leaders of each faction and to progress based on the RP created by players.

In regards to the actual position of RANCOR CDR, I have the same ambitions as my last run. I would use this role to grow interest past the entry clone battalions and act as a role model to those newer players. My job in rp is to lead and direct ARC troopers under me in the RANCOR battalion, but to ensure that those under my supervision hold some of the highest standards both in character and combat. My other job as a leader on the server is to ensure that I hold myself to a high standard so that others follow suit. ARC troopers are exemplary in lore and this will be just the same when it comes to the server. Myself as a player can effectively create and entertain RP scenarios, which would shine with this role. Time zone: EST Ban reason: Cheating How long were you banned for? Half a year Proof of Ban: What happened? I cheated, I fully admit to it. I had really wanted to join Vega at the time, and my only real competition was a known cheater. To beat a cheater, I had to become one. Why should your ban be removed? Addressing my Toxicity I’m fully aware that my ban was for cheating, and not for being toxic, but I cannot ignore my past. I was a very toxic individual, I threw insults at anyone who disagreed with me, especially if they were GG Staff members. I can only credit my actions to me thinking that it was cool at the time, which in retrospect, was completely the opposite. Moving past my previous toxicity, I can only apologize and improve how I treat and view others, in which I have been attempting to. Toxicity is something that has no place within the GG community, and I plan to keep my own emotions out of it. Like I said earlier, toxicity is unrelated to my ban but I would like to clear up my own actions to furthermore show that I am ready to be reintroduced into the GG community. Why I cheated in the first place Originally, I had no plans to cheat on the server, I was having fun playing legit, and at the time was a fairly skilled player. However, I really wanted to join Vega, it was the ultimate faction that showcased how truly skilled you are. Getting past the "retard filters" was not a challenging task, however, the 1v1 sims against other players was extremely daunting and difficult. At the time, which was more than a year ago, tryouts happened once or twice a week and you would be lucky to attend every single one. So getting into a tryout without competition would require immense luck, and luck was not on my side. The players that I had to go against were known cheaters, such as Virtual and Skrt. With little to no chance making it against those two and others, I resorted to cheating. I asked a player who I am choosing to not name for their own privacy, for cheats, and they delivered. I attended every tryout, and to everyone’s surprise (not really), I failed every single one. But, since I had used these cheats so much and so frequently, I had quickly become reliant on them to play, even if it was just for a short period of time. Legitimacy of the ban To be straightforward, my ban was 100% justified. I’m not refuting the fact that my ban was within reason. I did cheat, I admit it fully, but this appeal is not solely about my previous actions, but rather what I’m able to do now and going forward. The evidence that led to my ban was a screenshot I sent to the person who gave me the cheats, of them working in game, and what I believe is another clip of me using them in a raid. Precedent With this, I’d like to bring up the case of Blooms. Blooms and I are in extremely similar situations, we cheated for a short period of time, and carried regret after the fact. However, the topic of precedent within Blooms’ case is discussed in his appeal, and multiple community members are vocal about their distaste of how the precedent of his case could be used in future cases, such as mine. Even though the uncertainty of future precedent was brought up, it is undeniable that Blooms and I are in similar situations, and I ask that this appeal be treated similarly to his. As in Bloom's case, I can take any conditions that one would be required to take after an appeal, such as a ban from partaking in wars, or being heavily involved in any RP to further prove that I am, in fact, ready to return. Conclusion I fucked up, but I'm hoping that we can move past my mistakes. Cheating is something that is clearly against the rules, and I broke them. Even if it was for a short period of time, I had cheated. Through the months that I had been banned for, and the year that has passed since I’ve cheated, I’ve reflected on my actions, and I now feel fully ready to return the server. It really sucks seeing T.mods and Mods resign, but if you want to focus exclusively on rust, its probably the right call. Maybe one day you'll be back on the team.

I love seeing all the events going on for MRP. Finally got a good GM team and staff team to back it up.

if i recall, i can think of at least 5 different ways out of the map on echo, and countless glitch spots that are not even fair. If you are going to do beta testing, i recommend not only people that currently play and are good at finding things like this, but also people that played on the last map. If you are already familiar with the map it makes it much easier to find exploits

Thanks for getting straight to the point! For starters, I have my experience. I've played for years, but, the majority of that time was spent in officer positions, doing all I could to help out my faction. I've heard from others that I've spoken to in the community that MRP isn't totally in the best state right now, so I want to help out in any way that I can. I don't know any specifics of what can be improved on the server as of right now, since, I haven't played for a year, but with more time on the server I can help out with any faction matters. The most I can actually do until I can tackle the problems I'm hearing from others is just to bring positivity to the server. Again, thanks for the quick response.

Not what this is about but cool. you realize it took 3 admin sits for someone to report me on the forums to get me banned. So 3 admins deemed me innocent in a mass rdm situation in the past and I still got banned when he went to the forums hmmm interesting so how is a admins decision final? You handled this terribly wrong and I didn't break the rules. Go make a suggestion like everyone else you can't enforce rules that aren't apart of the server. Sorry you just can't. so wait i mess up once and I crack the rest of the doors without trouble and that's all you take out of it? most people can't even get through the waterfall door and that's one of the best basing locations in the server due to its uniqness of the one way wall from the waterfall. Is that a fail base if I can see them and they can't see me? I don't know but if I can base there with a one sided wall but I can't have doors THAT are still POSSIBLE to go through and I have to change it i don't know why we allow people to base in waterfall. Cuz that's an advantage as well. Right?

He then counted down from 5 and reconnected me.
